Working with Suzanne at Bella Flowers (in Main Street Nursery) was the BEST decision I could have made for our wedding flowers! The flowers were one of my ultimate favorite parts of our wedding. There were requests we made to enhance the inside of our wedding venue, and Suzanne covered all the bases... our venue looked flawless. It elevated our reception room to another level, our bouquets and bouts, CENTERPIECES, mantle displays & ceremony trellis were PHENOMENAL-- her work was stunning. Nowadays, people do so much decorating for weddings. It was completely unnecessary to add anything to our "decorations" besides the flowers, because the flowers spoke for themselves. We discussed not wanting the more traditional flower designs-- Suzanne's design was so unique. We had requests, and images we liked on Pinterest-- but hers blew all of those images out of the water! I would not recommend Bella flowers for your wedding. I was impressed with Christina at my initial emergency meeting as I had given another florist a down payment on some ideas. I regretted that deposit and contacted Christina and she took my and my hen fiancé the next morning. I should have gone wth my gut that she is rude and short answered. She gave me a good idea for my centerpieces because I didn't want a lot of flowers but candles and ambiance. She challenged me to find glass at a better price which I did so we didn't need her for centerpieces. As I had taken away that element her patience for me got shorter and shorter. At the week before my wedding her assistant ( which he should have his own shop as he knows the name of all the flowers and has great ideas) called me to ask about our alter arrangement which Christina never priced out. Christina a was supposedly on vacation at this point. She blamed my mother for the miscommunication. However this guy gave me ideas to do on my own. So there goes more money for Christina. I assume as I spent less with her the less she cared. My bouquet came in loosely wrapped like she had a child do it as well as half of the boutineers. My pictures look semi ridiculous because my flowers were flipped over because they were not wrapped correctly. Christina was also very rude to my wedding planner. My wedding planner was trying to advise on certain flowers wilt or aren't white etc just helpful tips and Christina would bark at her not to say something right in front of me. Not very professional. I can't say enough good things about Bella Flowers. Ronnie was the best! He took us as a last minute consultation about a month before my wedding, and had no problems when we had to postpone 4 months due to Covid. He did everything I asked and more. My centerpieces were gorgeous, my corsages were beautiful and my bouquet was STUNNING. He even helped attach the charms I brought. The flowers were so beautiful I wish I could just keep them in full bloom for ever. Not only is Ronnie, punctual, communicates well and sees your vision, but he quoted me $1000 less than other florists and worked with my budget with no hassles. This was the first florist I met with to discuss flowers for my wedding, and it was a match made in heaven! I met with Ronnie, and he totally got my vision. It was as if I didn't even need to finish my thoughts, and he knew what I wanted. Our centerpieces were beautiful, lovely and huge! And my bouquet of peonies was just what I imagined. All of the bouquets and other flowers being delivered to where I was getting ready all arrived on time. It was very easy to work with Ronnie, and I highly recommend meeting with him. He never pressured me to upsell me (ie: all high centerpieces versus half high and half low - which is what I had). I am delighted with how my wedding day flowers turned out at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. Equally as important, I am delighted with how the process leading up to my big day went. Suzanne at Bella Flowers always respected my wishes and certainly enhanced my ideas. When I would mention new floral ideas, she gently guided me back into my price point or shared expert advice to make the best decisions. For example, I had visions of dark wood, blue and white vases, and all white modern flowers with funky green plants for my centerpieces. Suzanne worked with me to have a mix of lower priced stock flowers and greens with white orchids to achieve the look I was going for. I'm sure if I had less of a vision Suzanne at Bella Flowers would have been able to guide me even more. Suzanne handles pressure well - my wedding day in Bridgehampton was very cold and misty for a beach wedding! Suzanne was able to keep our delphinium vases steady to account for the wind on the beach, and creatively lined our aisle on the beach with white orchids to give it a more put together look. She did this all under a time pressure as the fog was rolling in. I initially looked into working with florists in the hamptons close to my venue but felt they were more factory-esque... many wouldn't get back to me whatsoever during their busy season. Suzanne and Bella flowers always responded to emails and calls within a few hours- or even minutes. I was so pleased with this during the planning process. The brand new Bella flowers showroom is a beautiful space and is lovely to step into if you're considering different floral options. It's in Huntington so it is convenient for many on Long Island. We are happy we went with a small shop rather than a big company because compared to the other place we debated, Bella Flowers wanted to know what flowers we wanted (not just a set price for which centerpieces you chose etc). Although I don't think we were a tough couple to deal with, involving our family got complicated because my MIL cared more about flowers than we did! So props to Cristina for being able to put up with her commentary when on speakerphone. She was also flexible when we changed our mind between our first and second appointment for what we were looking for. Cristina seemed very organized and knowledgeable. Fast forward to the day of the wedding- I didn't get to see Cristina but my husband saw her hustling. The bouquets, the altar omg, and the centerpieces were flawless, and even better than expected. It made pictures look great too. The bouquets were wrapped it beautiful satin cloth so no flowers were falling out. They didn't last really more than a day or two later but they did their job for the night and that's all that matters! read more

I am totally torn writing this b/c I really don't like to write bad reviews unless I'm sure it will help someone else. Wedding flowers are a huge investment and I think people out there deserve to hear what they may expect. Once I read Lisa G's review I knew I had to say something. The flower arrangements were beautiful. So I give the final product for the flowers themselves 4 stars. That being said, the other 1 star review is SPOT on. I thought the owner was LOVELY before we signed the contract. After that she was condescending, moody and difficult. I think she likes what she likes and was annoyed when asked for some options. She was rude to my Husband, too. When he was asking about price breakdown, she said something to the effect of he should just pay the bill and not have an opinion. (This actually made me giggle b/c he's very sweet and everyone normally likes him...I teased him the whole way home!) She totally could have been trying to be humorous but she acted so miserably it came off incredibly rude. Unfortunately, while the product was great, I would not recommend this company for a wedding. I hate to leave negative reviews but I have to be honest. My fiancé and I both felt that the florist was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. She was very judgmental and had a bad attitude. We did not find her to be useful. She was very short with us and we felt very rushed. Florists are expensive and we both feel it's important to feel confident in your florist and trust their opinions and their vision; we did NOT get that from her. I can't even begin to imagine the process of working with her up until the wedding previewing centerpieces. We originally looked at pedestals and absolutely loved them but felt they were expensive. However, after coming to Bella Flowers we realized it's much safer to spend a little more and know that you are getting what you paid for! read more

I was so unbelievably disappointed with my choice in Bella Flowers for my wedding. The owner is very nice at first, but upon signing our contract with her she took advantage of us price wise and was extremely condescending. Any time I mentioned an idea I had or asked a question about certain flowers I was scoffed at. I had a few ideas for our wedding that she blatantly made fun of in front of me. Also, we were WAY over charged and when I asked multiple times for a price breakdown they said they were "unable to do so". I emailed them the day before the wedding asking for the exact time they would be there and they gave me an answer. The day of the wedding they did not show up until 2 HOURS after when they said they would arrive and I had to email them to see if they were on their way. When I did email them they said they thought the reception hall did not open until the time they were arriving. However, why would she tell me an EARLIER time the day before if she did not think it was open then? On top of that, my MOH bouquet was not what I had asked and when I asked why, she said it was because it was my fault and I did not ask for the right flower, even though I specified multiple times what I was looking for. Overall the flowers were pretty, but NO WHERE near worth how poorly we were treated. She was the only vendor that I was disappointed in and that I had to worry about the day of my wedding and the stress she caused made my experience with her one of the worst I have ever had with any business ever. read more

Her work is mediocre and not impressive. She seemed to want to constantly lower and lower the price thinking that is what would make us bood her. NOT! When I went to the first consultation she explained everything clearly and put together a centerpiece design. I can not say enough about Bella Flowers! I used them for my wedding on 4/19 and they were amazing. From my first meeting with Christine she saw my vision she even started gathering flowers and piecing together a bouquet. I also wanted Cherry Blossom and going to other florists each tried talking me out of it. This review is 4 years overdue but I'm hoping it helps another bride before she realizes what she's getting into. I only was considering them because they were one of the few vendors able to promise peonies in October but now I wonder if that was a lie too to get me to sign with them. Christina was quick to yes me to death and promise me everything I was looking for up until I signed my contract. I came to my appointment with tons of reference photos of what I was looking for and my vision and she promised it all. After that, it took forever to set up my appointment for my preview of just the centerpieces. I drove all the way out just to be disappointed with a Walmart version of what I envisioned. It was small and cheap look and she then said what I wanted would cost more. Fine. She then never followed up with another preview to make sure I was happy with the redo. I was constantly having to play phone tag with her bc she was always away or someone else would answer the phone for her instead claiming she wasn't available. You don't want to talk to clients? Fine. But be professional. A month before my wedding I finally hounded her down to make sure everything was set. Instead Christina tells me that it would cost double for what I was looking for even though the contract SHE wrote clearly stated she agreed to do it for the quoted price. I honestly think she was just trying to turn me off because she was no longer interested in helping with my wedding because she was trying to make it sound like she was doing me some kind of favor by releasing me from my contract claiming "creative differences" despite having a clear as day contract written out on what she was supposed to deliver. She left me with legit 3 weeks left to find a florist to pick up the pieces and work with me to put together my wedding decorations. That is really shameful to do honestly to a bride. Thankfully, James Cress Flowers came through and honored everything I envisioned for my original price quoted from Christina without charging me extra for last minute bookings and rush fees. Oh yeah. It also took me about 6 months of playing telephone tag back and forth for Christina to also refund me my deposit from the initial booking, with a runaround story every time. I eventually got my money back but it's ridiculous I had to hound them down for it for months on end. A vendor should not be this much trouble. James Cress made it so painless and even sent me home with bouquets of roses every time I visited during my appointments. Gary Cress is the best. The owner was very rude to my daughter, but nicer to me - she knew I was paying the bill. She always made us feel like we were bothering her and not open to any of our ideas. The table flower arrangements looked beautiful in custom rose gold vases and they shaped them more rounded to my liking. The arbor I got married under was so exquisite and looked so romantic. I am extremely disappointed with Bella's lack of professionalism and customer service. I made an appointment with Cristina via email for a wedding flower consultation last weekend. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, after a 2.5 hour drive from New Jersey. When I arrived, I was told that Cristina failed to put me in their calendar and they would not be able to see me. With a halfhearted apology, they told me to come back later but I already had other appointments in the area that I wasn't going to miss for an unorganized and unprofessional vendor. I waited a couple of days to write a review about them to give them a chance to call and apologize. After all, that's what I would do if I was trying to run a successful business, but that did not happen. In fact, after I posted a review of Bella Flowers on a popular wedding vendor review site, Bella disputed my review. Per the terms of use of the aforementioned site, my review was removed because I did not have a contract with Bella. The site could only post reviews of customers in contract with a specific vendor. I decided to post my review on yelp for two reasons: 1) to keep potential clients aware that Bella is running a shady and unprofessional business, and 2) to urge clients (especially engaged couples) to read reviews of wedding vendors on sites other than popular wedding sites, as reviews of people who had terrible experiences with the vendor will not be posted unless there is a contract. I am sure there is plenty of other reviews Bella "disputed" and were taken down because people didn't go into business with them. At first I was just disappointed and now I'm disgusted. My wedding was on 11/1/15 at Coindre Hall. My husband to be and I met Ronnie from Bella Flowers at a showcase at Coindre in the beginning of the year. His floral arrangement at the showcase was exactly what I wanted for our Gatsby themed wedding. The following week we consulted with Ronnie at the shop. He helped us decide on tall versus low arrangements. We decided on half tall and half low. He suggested ideas for my bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets. He provided us with a detailed breakdown of the bill. We also spoke with the owner Cristina and she was super sweet! The overall experience was very pleasant. On the day of our wedding, I walked into Coindre and could not believe how amazingly beautiful the hall looked. First of all, the arrangements in the dining room were huge and looked magnificent! Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful they were! My bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets were stunningly beautiful. Bella Flowers went above and beyond our expectations. They even pinned flowers to the chairs where the ceremony took place and placed beautiful little bouquets and rose petals on the tables where the cocktail hour was, to name but a few of the extra little details that Bella Flowers was so wonderful to provide us with. All my guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were. The guests who were lucky enough to take an arrangement home were thrilled!
