Amazing customer service! My daughter age six went in here with her older cousin not knowing what to expect. She ordered a soda thinking it was going to be "sweet" but instead, it was "spicy" lol I went back in and asked if there was anything sweeter for a small child and the gentleman helped me out and was so patient with me. This place was wonderful!

This place is so cute! They're located inside of the Riverstreet Market area, which does have a paid parking lot that's about $2/hr. Fermentation Farm is like a cute little grocery store with health-focused products, with many products being made in-house. You can also order food from them, similar to a deli. I got the hojichata without cinnamon and paired it with a brekki sando. The team working here are so sweet, and was super helpful in answering our questions. The hojichata was soooo good! It had a strong creamy roasted green tea flavor to it, and the cold foam paired was a great touch. The sandwich itself was loaded, and I love the thinly sliced pickled veggies in it. We were on a time crunch, but if I had more time, I'd totally explore their products more!

    Gut boost shot ($2.50)

Cool little store in the shopping plaza with a wide array of fermented products: kimchi, sauerkraut, pickled eggs, sourdough starter...you name it, they probably have it. They have a whole wall of kombuchas available for sampling or you can get a slushie for a modest $6. I found the kombucha to be tasty and I appreciated how many flavors they had on tap. They were also sampling a "raw" cake when I was there in two different flavors - I loved the cookies and cream. I opted for a gut booster shot (they have a few options for health shots each at $2.50) in the Curtido flavor and found it to be slightly gross but tasted exactly as you would expect. Prices across the board were pretty reasonable. They do have a full menu as well although we didn't try anything, nor do they really have any seating inside so it's not particularly an appetizing environment. There is some bench-type seating outside. Overall worth a stop in if you're into fermented or pickled products, otherwise it's skippable.

Kombucha wasn't anything to rave home about it. Overpriced too. Cool organic eatery.

Where have you been all this time? My heart beats for their Beet Salad. This place is kitchen, eatery and a health food store located at one of the laid-back market places I have seen in 2026. I ended purchasing a few goodies- without feeling guilty. The server was genuinely attentive and friendly. The Fermentation Farm has a bar of multi-flavored kombucha on tap. Although I'm not exactly a huge kombucha fan, I picked the passionfruit for its irresistible and refreshing fizzy taste.

The GOAT of all things fermented. This center is a scene, I cannot imagine getting in and out of here quickly. With that said this should be the #1 reason to come here, Ferm Farm baby!!! Most people were ordering grassfed chili and sourdough and eggs. The store section is about half of what the Costa Mesa Location has but still very cool. I had to get some Tumeric Kimchi, Master Tonic for the immune system, some raw farms Kefir, pickled eggs (sleeper hot always) and so my wife would be happy some sourdough sprouted grain pumpkin muffins. Amazing! I mean for $19 they better be amazing lol. I am obsessed with Fermentation Farm. I with this location was the full store scene but i get the takeout food vibe for this type of location. Dr. Yasmine is a visionary and I wish her blessings in all her Ferm farm ambitions.

I visited Fermentation Farm on a Sunday evening. There weren't too many other customers when I arrived & I didn't have to wait to place an order. I decided to try their new chicken chili along with their mango kombucha. I love the variety of kombucha flavors they have on tap & that they let you sample them before ordering. I've also never heard of any other spot that has a kombucha slushie so I thought that was neat that they offered it. I enjoyed both the chili & the kombucha. Would order again!

Our first time and wow was really impressed. Our breakfast was hot fresh and super tasty. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. We had our dogs and sat outside so they brought our food to us. The building itself is beautiful. Very open and tall ceilings. A huge variety of products for everyone in your family. I highly recommend visiting the fermentation farm. It left us wanting more. Don't forget to try the slushy sample. It was lots of fun. I had a vanilla kombucha on top and it was fabulous. Very family friendly. Very dog friendly. Very impressed and can't wait to go back.

Really good kombucha! I tried the Guava, Elderberry, Raspberry, and Dragon Apple Ice flavors. The Guava was excellent.it tasted like real, fresh guava. The Raspberry was also great, and I loved that it wasn't dyed pink. It had a natural flavor and was a soft beige with a hint of pink, which made it feel more authentic. The Dragon Apple Ice was really good too.It had very little sugar, unlike other places that overload their drinks with sweetness. The Elderberry was decent, though a bit bland for my taste. The service was amazing.they gave out generous samples, which was super kind and helpful. The space itself is cozy but spacious Definitely worth checking out if you love kombucha!

Love!!! They have so many wonderful, unique food items to choose from. I love their elderberry syrup and their apple cider vinegar. This time I thought their vanilla and we bought a beef tallow marshmallow. Yum.!

We visited Fermentation Farm on a Monday for lunch. It was a nice setup with minimal indoor seating and little shop area of goods and drinks. We ordered lunch that included the taco special and the Tuna Melt along with a sourdough chocolate chip cookie. We also ordered a beat salad to go and ate that later that evening at home. Great flavors for everything we ate. We would come back here again to try other things which is a good sign it was a place we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful, no complaints here.

Love the heart behind this restaurant; all ingredients are locally sourced and organic. I ordered the 'award winning' tuna melt with a bowl of chili on the side. The tuna melt was ehh, I would say it's pretty average. I felt like it was thrown together really fast and didn't have a lot of fixings inside. The chili was good though. I was still hungry afterwards. I thought that the tuna melt would be really good because they had marketed it as an award winning. My friend ordered a french dip and it looked like they added a lot of meat in there so maybe it was just what I ordered. We also ordered potatoes on the side and they weren't crispy at all they were more on the moist side and lacked seasonings. Not really my fave but overall I still had a good experience and would try other things on the menu because they're health conscious. They also sell grass fed meat at the store. My favorite was the kombucha they have on tap which I thought was pretty cool to sample all the different flavors.

Unfortunately, I could not find the Vietnamese Coffee I was looking for (bummer) but I did get to try their infamous sandwiches. I got the Argentine Sandwich and the Hot Honey Chicken Club. I would totally buy the Argentine 10/10 in my book. The hot honey is a 5/10 and I wouldn't purchase unless they change something to make it spectacular. Looking forward to trying many more sandwiches. Oh also, if your food has a percent coupon off please let your cashier know. We bought cookies for $7 and we forgot to mention it therefore we paid $7 instead of $3.50 oh well! However, they really need to step up the quality of staff they hire for the pizza bar (the manager or a more seasoned employee is usually at the cold deli section). On one recent visit, we placed an order for one pizza and when we dutifully came back 15 minutes later, there was literally no one at the pizza bar and one pizza was in the oven and we watched as it got progressively more and more charred. Finally, another customer got the attention of another employee who was shocked and apparently the pizza person "had an emergency" and "didn't tell anyone". So our pizza was never made and the employee just ran off with a pizza baking to literally ash. Fast forward to another incident and it's 1PM and nearly all of the self service options are empty. We ask the pizza person if we could just order an entire pizza and was told 45-50 minutes. So needless to say we left because we definitely didn't plan on shopping for an hour just for a pizza. Here's a picture of the embarrassingly empty self serve section. I did inquire if they'll be stocking more self service pizzas and that was another 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile they were still taking more phone orders. However, I'm glad this experience told me they accepted phone orders. Now I'll just order at home before leaving the house so it's all ready when we get there.
