It was our first time here for Sunday Brunch, we really enjoyed it, from the ambience to the food. The service was great, we'll be coming back to try their dinner soon. Love the location in downtown San Juan!

I have a soft spot for this place and have loved it for over a decade. The soup is always spot on, whether it's a cold day or the middle of summer. I also love the halibut. It's cooked perfectly and never too fishy, which is harder to find than it should be. Highly recommend!

Visited here on a day trip! I got the half sandwich, soup and salad combo. I got a chicken pesto with sun-dried tomato bisque, and salad. I was surprised how full I was at the end of the meal. The chicken was super savory and well cooked and the bisque was delightful. The salad dressing was a wonderful vinaigrette as well. The servers were very attentive and it had a nice relaxing atmosphere. Extremely clean and nice interior. There's also outdoor seating to gaze on the downtown action as well. Would love to stop by again some day.

The food here is incredible all around! We just found out that on Saturdays they have. 3 course meal deal for only $40! Absolutely WOW!! Our server was on top of it and very friendly and made the entire ambiance that much more special! We were sat outside near the entrance and had some beautiful sky views and got to people watch a little bit. I would highly recommend getting this meal deal and trying out the filet mignon or the skirt steak! Both were insanely good.

Abraham is the best, 100%. Tried Chilaquiles, Margaritas, dessert was delicious. Environment, it was the experience while visiting San Juan Capistrano. Recommend always. Be back for sure.

Sundried Tomato is a charming restaurant located in San Juan Capistrano. They have an extensive menu with great prices. We came for dinner last month on a Friday night. I ordered the open face tuna melt and my husband ordered the Ribeye steak and drinks. The food was delicious. Our service was excellent, they were very busy on a Friday night. I visited Sundried Tomatoes with some friends for Brunch. It was great. We were able to get a seat inside with no wait. It wasn't too loud even though it was fairly full, so we were able to have a conversation at normal volume. The food came out extremely fast. I really enjoyed the skillet. It had a nice mix of veggies and the potatoes were delicious.

We spent last Sunday afternoon in Dana Point and since we were not too far from San Juan Capo, I thought of stopping by at one of my favorites - Sundried Tomato to pick up a light snack/dinner: Crispy Blackened Chicken Spring Rolls w the signature honey-cilantro pesto (my top fave here) and Brussels Sprouts. The server also threw in some warm bread which was perfect to dip into the cilantro pesto sauce. (Check out the other photos of the blackened chicken egg rolls as it looks so much better when you dine in, than take out photos that I posted).

I have been to Sundried Tomato twice now and let me say this place is simply amazing. The food flavors are soo vibrant and the menu selection is just perfect. Their basic grilled cheese has three different types of cheeses. This exemplifies how much thought they put into every menu item. Their chicken bow tie pasta is very large and creamy al dente goodness. Their servers are kind, and as with the culture of the area, they are a little more relaxed and laid back. The inside is astecially pleasing, decorated with wine bottles and wide windows to catch the live views of the street. You really have to try this place. It's located in the heart of the historic rios district. There is plenty of paid parking in the area (couple bucks an hour)

Finally got around to trying this local place. Walked in for dinner with the kids and they had plenty of room. They sat us in a room with nice live music. They had high chairs and an actual kids menu but most importantly crayons and a sheet to color! So helpful since we hadn't planned on eating out and had forgotten our stash. The fries are not to be missed. I've never had any this shape and cut before but they were crispy and soft at the same time. The 4 of us polished this off quickly. The tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich was super rich and filling. The kids really liked their pasta which is always a win. N enjoyed his lamb. I loved the green beans! Will look forward to returning!

Took my granddaughter, who is from New Mexico, to San Juan Capistrano for the day. Wanted to show her the Mission but guess what-- it's closed on Mondays and guess what day it was! So we decided to walk around and explore. We came across the Sun-dried Tomato and decided it looked promising so we stopped in. It was a nice day, and they had patio seating, so we opted to sit outside. The menu was voluminous so it took us a minute to decide what to eat. Unfortunately, I decided wrong. I opted for the fish and chips. My husband got the sampler appetizer and my granddaughter the San Juan bowl. Although the batter on the fish was crispy and light, the fish itself was tasteless and undercooked. Fortunately the potato "chips" that accompanied the fish was delicious, as was the tartar sauce . I ate a couple of pieces of the fish and most of the chips. My husband devoured his sampler plate after gifting me a blue corn taquito stuffed with duck from his plate. My granddaughter also quite enjoyed her San Juan Bowl. All of the portions were Hugh so my granddaughter and I wound up taking a good amount of our dish home. I old my hubby the fish would be his dinner. Later, when my hubby sat down to eat the fish, he agreed that it was not good. I guess 2 good dishes out of three isn't bad. As for the service, I have no complaints. So if you're in the area, stop by Sun-dried tomorrows but don't order the fish and chips.

It's very homely and also service was fantastic. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and was extremely tasty. For my breakfast, I started off with the Tomato Bisque and Grilled Cheese Sandwich, which was a great start to the meal. I'm a huge soup and sandwich fan and was probably the first time I've ever done that at brunch. For my big plate, I chose the Huevo Rancheros and really enjoyed it. And don't even get me started on the **spam musubi**. It's like a warm hug from an old friend--authentic and oh-so-delicious! You can almost hear the waves crashing as you take your first bite. Now, let's talk about the **kalibi **. Cooked to perfection, it's the kind of dish that makes you want to shout "Aloha!" at the top of your lungs.
