Unreliable service. I called for a tow for an unauthorized vehicle parked in my assigned parking stall at 7:30 p.m. It is now 10:15 p.m., and there is still no tow truck in sight. No one has called to provide an update or communicate the delay, and it appears that no tow truck was ever dispatched. If you need prompt assistance, I recommend contacting another towing company. read more

Retired my older Honda today through the buy back CA program. I drove it to Fernandes Auto wrecking and it literally took less than 10min. A special thank you to the lady who assisted me (forgot her Name) such a sweet lady who understood how sad I was to let go and offered to let me get a few pictures for memories. A tow company is probably not anyone's favorite service to review but it's one I feel could be helpful for other Yelpers. Unfortunately, I recently had to deal with a vehicle theft which was later recovered and towed to this storage facility. My experience aside from the incident itself was pleasant. Fernandes Auto Wrecking and Towing went above and beyond helping me. The staff was responsive to all my phone questions. When I arrived, they took the time to kindly detail the situation and even walked me back into the tow yard so I could inspect the vehicle first hand. The staff directly coordinated with insurance on my behalf and handled all the paperwork to make everything go smoothly. Thank you for all the help! read more

They towed my car for having it parked on the street. I had no neighbors complain and they charged me a ridiculous fee to get it out. The car was towed from Antioch to their facility which isn't that far. They charged me $740 for the tow of a car less than 10 miles and for 3 days of storage ridiculous. My car was only worth $1200 and this is is a huge scam. I am reporting them to to the California Department of Consumer Affairs. read more

The people with the bad reviews don't know how to talk to people. Fernandez towing; is and always will be the best towing company in the area. If you talk kindly; know where you are and think before you call, they will take the stress out of you needing a tow. Reasonable; fast response and the tow drivers are great people too. I am an active member since 2019 of the Pacheco Lodge #117 located at 4349 Cowell Road whereupon my vehicle was parked. I have always had permission of the Lodge to park my vehicle there after an automobile accident. As the attached minutes included herewith illustrate, the members of the same Lodge knew that I had been incapacitated due to the injury I sustained. The same never contacted me about their intent for me to move the vehicle. Only after I transmitted a letter to an individual proclaimed to be homophobic, Susan Baker Van Brocklin, did I learn that almost immediately after did she have my car towed. I will be filing a claim against both Fernandez Auto Wrecking and Towing and Pacheco Lodge #117 under the auspices of the RALPH CIVILS RIGHTS ACT OF 1976 and the TOM BANE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT. read more

Even though my situation with my car has caused me to depart with it, Fernandez Towing has done a great job with providing the very best customer service that a person could ask for. Therefore I am happy to have done business with them despite having to get my vehicle smashed since the repairs are much more than the car is worth. My car was towed 11/2021 so I went to get my car when I got there the guy who was there was so disrespectful made comments like. "Bet you ain't got the money to get your car" then he proceeded to lite up a cigarette I asked him not to smoke due to me having asthma. He blew the smoke at me. We hired this company to remove a large RV from a backyard. Very difficult job and they got the job done. Not only did they have to deal with tree stumps, trees, and brush, but they had to work around a gas line. Mike Fernandez was professional and brought his team. He performed way above what we expected, and pretty sure no other company could not have provided this service at a very reasonable and fair cost. I would highly recommend this company. Okay I wanted to be mad at this place for towing my car and that's why it's negative a star, but after dealing with Mike at the Antioch location I have to say I'm pretty happy with the customer service. Yes I had to sign my car over because I couldn't afford the charges but Mike was so nice about everything. Unfortunately just moving from San Jose I didn't know that you couldn't park your car on the st in the same spot for 3 days or more. Registered and insured doesn't make any difference. The city also doesn't care if you're disabled and are limited to how much you can drive. So they basically have the tow company come and steal your car at 10 pm at night. I'm not mad at the tow company for doing what they're told by APD. Anywho just watch out where you park and for how long in Antioch the cops will have your cars towed for no good reason. But make sure to deal with Mike if you do, he's a good dude! read more

Horrible customer service , car was towed which isn't their fault but the guy mike was rude kinda threw the papers at me, told me to follow him while he got in his car and drove a block down made a turn and disappeared. My daughters car was towed while in front of our house which, is not the fault of the company however, they had no empathy in the process she had to go through to get the car released as it was her recently deceased fiancee's car and the title had not been transferred over. Long story short it took several days to get the paperwork and release form to retrieve the car. The car was towed at 1pm and apparently there are not 24 hrs in a day anymore and they charge you basically by the minute is sits in their yard and not for the 24 hr period it is there although, this was not conveyed to us and we spoke with several people over the course of the three days it was there. Twice we were told to just surrender the car if the fee's were too high. Why would we surrender a car that was just paid off and the only means of transportation my daughter has for her and her baby. They wanted to basically take ownership of her car to sell it and they don't care about anyone other than themselves. Family owned really?! I did call to complain about the extra day of storage added on and was told I would be called back but I was not. The tow charge alone was $195 to go 6 or 7 blocks from our house and $85 per "day" for storage read more

Horrible customer service. Charged 380 for 14 hours. You would think because we were dealing with a death they could work with us. But instead we were met with zero empathy and the car was parked in a giant muddle puddle that we had to walk through. They were rude and over priced. I love this place really wide verity for small space. Old guy behind the desk is sort of sarcastic, but cool once you get to know his.

This yard has an extensive inventory of late model cars and truck that is always renewing. They have a large exclusive contract with insurance companies that demands taking all vehicles so the import selection is huge as well as all sizes of trucks, vans and domestic models. The yard is cleaned often and I have always received great pricing. This is also a cash for clunker facility so they crush on site with a never ending variety. The staff is great and the service is better than what you might expect from an auto wrecking company. They are fair and amicable. I have done a fair amount of business here and that always helps as in any business. There is little in the way of car parts these guys do not have, especially if you are the curious type and do not mind hunting down your own parts. Very cool place, Tell them Bob sent you! read more
