Horrible service. I went there to pick up my car after it had got towed there and the staff had a horrible attitude (HOA had the car towed for parking in the back of my own garage). The fees to get my car out were extremely exorbitant and they even charge a 3.5% fee for using a debit card. Pray that you never have the misfortune of having your car brought to this establishment. read more

Recently, my vehicle was hit by another vehicle in a school parking lot. I needed to have the rear side of my car repaired. Hernandez Collision and Towing not only restored my car to better than new condition, Valoree even helped me with dealing with the insurance companies. She knew all the right procedures and even communicated and coordinated with them to get my vehicle repaired, provide a car rental and have my vehicle back to me in a very timely manner. I've never experienced worse customer service in my life until I had the unfortunate chance of having to interact with these people. My scooter got stolen from San Francisco during the weekend and somehow ended up in this tow yard on a Sunday although they weren't open for business hrs..giving them the chance to charge me $65 daily storage fee. After hours of calling the police and finally figuring out where it is, I got in contact with these guys (it was Monday at this point) to arrange getting my scooter out the next day but they refused to help me out in anyway. I explained to them multiple times how I work during their business hours so there was no possible way of me arranging a time for me to get there to get the scooter out before 5 PM. I did manage to get out of work early enough Tuesday to get there but I still hit traffic and ran five minutes late.. I called the lady crying frantically begging her to stay open an extra five minutes and even had the police department call her and explain the situation, yet they refused to stay open although I was a block away. They were well aware of the police tow release at this point. I understand that their business hours are between 8 and 5 PM but given the circumstances, that i live almost 2 hrs that my scooter got stolen and that I was already having to pay $65 a day in storage fees PLUS a $400 tow if i want it back to San Francisco, I figured they'd be slightly sympathetic to my situation. But of course they weren't and of course they are greedy pricks that refuse to stay open five minutes to make an extra $65. Finally Wednesday i arrange to have my scooter picked by a friend and all of a sudden I'm being told i had to pay the $65 daily storage fee=$200(which i knew about at this point) plus another $200 for the initial tow from when it got stolen. THEY NEVER MENTIONED THIS TOW FEE BEFOREHAND! So at this point I'm given no choice but to pay $400 to get my scooter back.. i can't believe the scam you guys are running. I am just mind blown that anyone would do business like this! It's not like I was illegally parked and got my scooter towed.. I was robbed and i was trying to deal with what was already a terrible situation. And they took advantage of the situation. Not that it matters anymore but i thought it'd be a good idea to let everyone know you guys are disgusting, have poor work ethics and don't deserve to be in business. This is the last thing i would expect from a family owned business.. especially one contracted by the city. Absolutely awesome customer service and responsiveness. And a plus is the owner is a neighbor! We have a very old pickup we use for hauling home lumber and other home improvement stuff and it would not start after loading it up with purchases. Dead as a door nail in Home Depot parking lot. First I called our ins carrier. Got dumb automated system after being on hold 20. Meanwhile it's 93° in the sun. Got disgusted with State Farm and searched for towing. Hernandez was closer than all the rest so I called Hernandez and had a truck in under 15 min. And the owner on the phone was an absolute doll - super helpful. And sympathetic too. When the truck got to our home the driver pointed out he lived just up the street. Just a luck of the draw and boy were we lucky to have a great neighbor and now a new resource. This guys are a joke! They came and towed my car... Well, the most unprofessional driver I've ever seen. They dragged the car out of its spot, damaged one of the wheels, the undercarriage and front bumper. This guys have a law suit on their way. read more

My son was in an accident. We have never experienced this before and had not a clue what needed to be done. The accident was bad enough that there were news articles online and a tow log was published. Next to my sons car was listed this tow yard. I called and said I believe my sons car was towed there, it was a Saturday and the nasty woman answering the phone seemed pissed I was bothering her, however, she agreed to let us get into the car to get my sons belongings but said since it was a Saturday we would have to pay 100.00 cash! Fine, we got there and the same nasty lady met us there, didn't even speak to us, opened the door, answered her phone and walked away. The custom this nasty woman was talking to was not happy with her disgusting attitude and asked her not to be so rude..she literally yelled at him and he hung up on her. Then she turned to us, nasty as ever, apparently my sons car was NOT at her tow place which oh my, that really pissed her off! She said how did I know the car was there, I told her about the tow log, she then yelled at me and said I should never go by that, told her I was sorry but I've never done this before. She then said I should have told her all this! I told her she didn't ask me any questions. She of course demanded the 100.00! Wow! Way to be compassionate about accidents! By the way, way we did find the correct place, they were so nice, professional and compassionate about my sons car and accident. Also, they new about this nasty lady and her tow place! I'm the owner of a local locksmith shop here in Antioch ca (advanced keyless locksmith) giving an honest review about this company. So one morning on my way to work my car battery died in the parking lot of Panda Express (which is literally on the same block of this company) I diddn't have my jumper box on me unfortunately and I was late so I figured I can ask these clowns for help... Lady answers the phone and I explain to them that I'm a local locksmith and we've done business together before and I needed some help. I even explained that I'm literally 100ft away and just needed a quick jump start. The lady tells me it's gonna be $80 minimum??? Pffffffft are you kidding me? I then asked nicely if there's a discount since we've done business before and she was baffled as if I was asking to borrow one of their tow trucks! Anyways I then called tow workx and they came out and gave me a jump for $20 in less than 10 mins. I believe tow workx is way more professional and of course a lot cheaper. Moral of the story...I wouldn't recommend this company to any of my friends or customers, and I hope they don't expect any services from us read more
