They started by giving her a palette expander that stayed in a few months, transitioned to braces and now we are in a retainer for a year, before we get braces again on the full mouth. We did it this way bc my daughter was self conscious about her smile and boy, the difference is amazing. Doc is an absolute joy to watch with the kids he works with. He not only makes the kids feel comfortable, but also helps us parents relax. Also, the entire office staff is amazing! They are so accommodating. He explained to us both that it will be painful but definitely worth it. He was right. She just got her braces and she probably will not be with them for long. On that Initial day I asked him about my jaw and if he could fix it. I had been to Maxillofacial Dr, and was told to wear a guard at night and get Botox injections. That made me nervous. Dr. Feldon analyzed my chart and said that he could fix it with braces. 2.5 years later and I'm excited about the results. He lined up my teeth and was able to pull my jaw over so that it doesn't stick out. Before all of this I would only take pics on one side of my face because I did not like the way that I looked. I know that it sounds like a commercial, but he gave me my quality of life back. These 2.5 years were not easy. He took it in stride with me. Checked me out. Did what he could to make this journey easier. Even when I got snippy because I was frustrated at the end of year 2, he took it in stride. He makes jokes, is understanding, and great at what he does. I travel from Homestead/Florida City to his location simply because he, and those he surrounds himself with, is awesome. I have another year left with my daughter. So excited!! I wish I could give zero stars…read more I grew up going to Dr. rothernberg- so I assumed Dr. Ross was as qualified. I came to this orthodontist with very minimal concerns (see attached photo) during a difficult time in my life. You'd hope a doctor would have the discernment and integrity to say, "You don't need treatment." Instead, he put me into his version of Invisalign and completely changed my previously perfect smile. Over the next 1.5 years, I emailed him multiple times letting him know my teeth were shifting in ways I hated, flaring out, misaligned, and not resembling the smile I walked in with. His response every time was to shave between my teeth and assure me it would "get better." It never did. My face shape even changed because of how my teeth were moved.
