Be very careful going to Dr. Armstrong. Highly recommend finding another dentist in Brickell. A lot of reviews here are not reflective of my experience. Dr. Armstrong and her team broke my retainer in my mouth during the teeth cleaning. She would not take the retainer fully out when I asked as there were wires sticking out from them breaking it. She said she didn't have time that day and initially that I would have to pay her to take out the retainer that they broke. I ended up going to another dentist to get it taken out and get a new retainer, but Dr. Armstrong has ignored me since then when asking for them to cover my bill to do this which was $200+. Also beware of them finding "minor"cavities. They are trying to upsell you and appear to be dishonest about issues they are "finding". read more

The great reviews come with a large price tag, please do your research properly! I moved to Miami and was in need of a new dentist and given that I had no other information available, I used Yelp as a way to find one. When I called the office if they worked with my insurance, they confirmed. However, they did not tell me that they are not contracted with my insurance, meaning the office doesn't have to follow any fee structure from the insurance company. This will become very relevant later. During my first visit to do a consultation and possible cleaning afterwards, I had a very positive impression by the doctor and the hygenist. They were detail oriented and made sure to explain everything along the way. I was excited to have found a new dentist. Once the consultation exam was completed I was presented with a treatment plan for a deep cleaning and was immediately given papers to sign for suggested treatment. Looking at the pricing of the treatment plan, it seemed pretty expensive from my perspective and I feared I will run out of my insurance benefits very soon if I needed anything more than a deep cleaning throughout the year. After expressing my thoughts, the "insurance specialist" assured me that those are approximately the prices I will find in the surrounding area. Overall, this person seemed a bit pushy to get me to sign the treatment plan and move forward. I eventually left (without signing) to call my insurance and verify how much such treatment would be with a dentist in the area that is contracted with my insurance. Turned out the fees for the same treatment with other dentists in Brickell would come out to less than half of what I was quoted in this office. I have nothing bad to say about the treatment that you'll receive here (doctor and hygenist seem great), however you might pay significantly more than you need to. Might be best to find a dentist through your insurance as opposed to on Yelp. read more

The benefits of this office goes beyond the relaxing music and views. The staff is extremely kind, helpful and accommodating. I've nervous about the dentists, but Dr.Armstrong made sure I was comfortable and made me feel safe. Her practice is great and their prices are very fair for someone like me with no insurance. My favorite things about them is that I'm never in the waiting room for more than 5 min, my visits have never been longer than they schedule me for and they validate parking! I was in need of an urgent dental intervention this week, and Dr. Armstrong delivered. As often happens with teeth, minor sensitivity turned into throbbing pain over one weekend. On Monday, I learned my usual dentist office was closed for remodeling, and I needed help ASAP. Needing a dentist near my Brickell office, I checked Yelp and found this listing. They gave me a same-day appointment, and diagnosed a need for a root canal. I was concerned about having a major procedure with a brand new dentist, but everything about this office is wonderful. The friendly, patient office staff collected my insurance information and broke down the cost for me. I had the procedure yesterday. After the numbing agents and facial poofiness subsided, I didn't even need an Aleve. I was instantly pain-free. I am very thankful, and may even switch dentists. Highly recommended. They do require 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations, and may charge a $30 fee for last-minute cancellations. read more

I was really happy with Dr Armstrong's office. I had my 6 month cleaning and check up today. I am new to the area so finding a good dentist and hygenist close to my home were important to me. Both Armstrong and my hygenist were really nice and did a great job! I will be back for sure. The only issue I initially had was parking.
