Food, service and ambiance is awesome. I had the Chimichanga, guacamole and a Margarita. Everything was great.

went here with my husband and granddaughter for dinner. Waited too long for service, we almost left. Finally placed the order. Our food arrived , granted a hamburger is not Mexican food, but my granddaughter ordered one. it was a horrible. it was a paper thin Patty, overcooked, could have been a hockey puck. My plate, the steak fajitas was terrible, the meat was tough, and poor quality. I could not chew most of it. what a waste of 18.00 my husbands plate was no better. Poor quality of meat, hard to chew. We had rated here before with no issues, but we will not go back after this visit. Such a waste to leave food on the plate , not even wanting to take the leftovers home for our dog. read more

Nice presentation the chips and the waitress where the best thing there the food was bland and lacking taste the salsa was watery the pupusas where watery the bacon wrapped shrimp was dry as hell almost chocked half to death the ny steak was very rubbery never seen a steak look like that and the refried beans where straight out the can all and all not worth the travel money or time . read more

Went on Friday night to pick up food that I ordered. Called and was told 15 minutes, it took over 30 but that's okay it again was Friday night. When I got home the food looked good but once you open it up it was full of bean and rice and little meat. I do understand that it is stuffers but when the rice is clearly undercooked and crunchy it hard to finish the burrito. I used to love it hear but after new owners took over I don't go here unless I don't want to go to the other side of town. Last time I go there. Lesson learned read more

We have not eaten here since they moved from the Taco House location in Placerville. We got a to go order and the food was just as I remembered-delicious!!! Taco salad, enchiladas and tacos. Most of the time the food is good, sometimes soggy. The Mexican food has never left me sad. Don't order off the Salvadorian menu. Every time I do it tastes bland. Their lunch menu is amazingly cheap and always tasty! The Flan at this spot is the best I have ever tasted. Not always available, but to die for when it is. Love this spot. read more

This place has the BEST salsa anywhere, we all know if you are going out for Mexican food its ALL about the chips and salsa. They have the classic Mexican menu as well as Salvadorian dishes. Service is great, it's very casual too so no dressing up. read more

Fernando's has great customer service. They have never made a mistake on our phone orders. The combinations are good. I prefer the chicken as the shredded beef has been a little tough. I came to this place due to a recommendation. When I entered, 2 customers were waiting for their to go orders. I was acknowledged but To Go order person went to the back. Then a group of 4 came in and we're seated in 2 minutes. Then I got a chair and pulled out my clock b/c I had already waited standing 5 minutes. Then the other waitress stated we have over 30 to go orders. I said I don't mind waiting as long as I receive a discount since it's now 8 minutes 51 sec later. My order not even taken yet. Then the to go waitress learned what I said. I didn't have to pay tax. Took 4 minutes to get food. The tacos we're fresh but just ok. My salsa was watered down.
