Pupusas revueltas and queso con loroco
Sonia P.

Everything we order was good, we had the salvadoreño breakfast it's scrambled eggs with veggies refried beans sour cream cheese and fried plantains comes with a French roll. Then we had pupusas revueltas were the best and queso con loroco. To drink we had atole de elote it was delicious we try their agua fresca de marañon(cashew apple) it was so delicious and refreshing. also got a cola champagne it's a traditional soda from El Salvador. The restaurant has been updated it has plenty of tables to sit, it was super busy since we got there right when they open. We will be back soon to try other items.

Revuelta pupusa with curtido (comes with salsa too, but I just use curtido) and a side of rice. So good!!!

I love this place! The pupusas are outstanding and the burritos huge and delicious! Here for dinner last night. I had a revuelta pupusa and a side of rice and my husband had a regular chicken burrito. Also ordered a pupusa to go because I love them so much. The restaurant was quiet and the service was great. Pupusa was sooo good. The curtido here is milder than other curtidos, but I think was perfect for the pupusa. The rice was mild in flavor and at times a bit crunchy. The burrito was delicious and huge. I had my pupusa to go for lunch today and my husband had half his burrito from dinner for lunch. The leftovers were still delicious. We have an appointment in the area next week, so we're already planning to come back for more!

Not sure of the name but delicious. Filled with meat and cheese.

3 things I struggle with when exploring new places, new Barber, new mechanic and new pupuseria. But today I found my Pupuseria lol Carlos helped out, I didn't try their horchata but they have it available. Their quality is awesome! They are stuffed so 4 is enough for a grown ass man who likes pupusas but I ended up chowing down 6. Inside is nothing special, they do have Mexican soccer leagues on tv so it's super chill. They have 2 different types of red chile. Solo le preguntan si prefieres el más caliente de los dos. Si buscas una pupuseria con buena qualidad y precios muy baratos los recomiendo.

Fried banana. So good.

Friendly staff. Ample parking. Seating includes tables and booths. Good food and was delivered quickly. Variety of pupusas. The fried bananas are so good. We'll definitely be back.

Las Palmas has been on my radar (aka my Yelp "Want To Try" collection) for months. This past week,…read moreI stopped by for lunch, and ordered three pupusas. Three was actually wayyy too many. Oh my gosh. If you are a female thinking about ordering three pupusas for yourself, don't do it. Trust me. Two is enough. One might even be enough, depending on your appetite/lifestyle. Apparently, my eyes were feeling much larger than my stomach, so, I ordered one each of queso con frijol, queso con jalapeno, y revueltas (pork and beans). Best pupusas I've ever had in my life. Hands down. The woman running everything, who seemed to probably be the owner, was super friendly to everyone. I noticed her asking other people in Spanish if they wanted more salsa or tortillas, and, when my food came, she asked me the same questions in English. Since I asked for my order to-go, the salsa and cabbage were served in plastic baggies. This was a little bit messy, but, honestly, I would rather have a decent amount of salsa in a little baggy than have to mess with like seven plastic ramekins. The salsa and cabbage mix were both so bomb. Five stars for those alone. I ended up picking off pieces of my pupusas and just drenching them in salsa. Dining in would have definitely been a smarter option-- good thing I always have wet wipes with me, because they were necessary. As to the pupusas, I was surprised by which one was my favorite versus least favorite, because it was exactly the opposite of what I expected. My favorite was definitely the revueltas, then the queso con frijol, then the queso con jalapeno. It may have been partially because I ate the revueltas first, when the tortilla was still the most hot and fresh. By the time I got to the jalapeno, it was getting cold. I've never had pupusas this fresh. The homemade soft tortilla shells were falling apart in my hands as I ate. All of the fillings were so flavorful and amazing. My sister called me while I was eating them and I asked, "Have you ever had a pupusa?" "No, what's that?" "It's like.... like the calzone version of a taco. It's taco fillings, but stuffed inside of a soft tortilla shell." (A pupusa is to a taco as a calzone is to a slice of pizza.) Best pupusas ever, and the price was not bad. The proportions were generous considering the price, as opposed to most taco shops. Would definitely eat here again.

Pupusas are yummy, especially when they're fresh and hot! I've tried every pupusa on the menu…read more Definitely try this place out!

The Spot That Made Me Fall in Love with Pupusas…read more This is the place that made me fall in love with a pupuseria. My wife and I were out one day, decided to try something new, and found this gem up the street from our church. One thing I always look for with cultural cuisine is who's actually eating there. When you walk into a place and see people who grew up in that culture enjoying the food, it tells you everything you need to know about authenticity. This spot checks that box. It feels like the kind of food you'd get at a friend's house, not just something made to look the part. The staff was friendly and personable, which made the experience even better. Now, let me set expectations--this isn't the kind of place where your water glass is getting refilled every five minutes. But you can grab a soda or a horchata and you're good to go. The open kitchen is a big part of the experience. You can see everything being made, and more importantly, you can smell it. You start eating with your nose before the food even hits the table. You take it in with your eyes, and then your taste buds finish the job. I've recommended this place to a few people, and they've gone back again and again. That says a lot. If you like authentic food and want something that feels real--not staged--I think this could easily become one of your new favorite spots.

The birria was so damn good. Carnitas was really good too, the meat was a bit hard at times. I came with a friend and after we ordered there was an almost 30 minute wait. I was getting a bit restless but the place was busy and the food is made fresh. We were also served tortilla chips with frijoles as a sort of appetizer while we waited. They serve beer here as well. Not the biggest restaurant but the server was nice and friendly. Restaurant clean as well. Would definitely be worth visiting again.

The Alcapurria masa was missing flavor even tho it had a beautiful fry on it. The meat inside wasn't bad. I was disappointed to not be given mayoketchup and the sauce was very runny, I didn't think it enhanced the Alcapurria at all. The yellow rice was also lacking in flavor, it needed more sazón or sofrito. And the cook on the rice itself was off but perhaps they had a bad batch that day. The Shrimp on the Mofongo was the best thing I had and I enjoyed the portion. The mofongo just needed more butter since the juice from the shrimp couldn't cover the whole serving. Overall I want to give them points it did help my craving of missing home, hopeful it was just an off day and they can hit with more sazón next time !

We took 2 pineapple and 2 chicken tamales to go. This morning when I went to grab one to take for lunch I saw that they were wrapped 1/2 wax paper 1/2 corn husk. That seemed very odd. I decided to open them all and they all looked so disgusting and were so slimy. I ended up throwing them away. Their tamales are extremely over priced for the quality. When I arrived and got in line I received a nice smile from the lady working behind the counter taking orders. When I made it to the front of the line I ordered four revuelta and four pork and cheese pupusas to go. I requested both hot and mild salsa. Because they make everything fresh there is always going to be a short wait. This gave me the opportunity to see the dining room and rest room. Everything is very clean and the decor is very authentic and inviting. The pupusas are very tasty and the "hot" salsa, while not too spicy, is very flavorful and really accompanies the curtido nicely. The mild salsa tastes very fresh. I made sure I had cash to pay as I read in another review here on Yelp that they only accept cash, but they actually do take credit cards. So don't worry, if you're in the area drop by and give 'em a try. Cash or card will both work to pay the bill. I'll be back!
