I recently tried Cosmic Roosters, and I was really impressed with the food. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of crunch, and the spice level was just right without overpowering the taste. I also liked that the portions were filling and the sides complemented the meal well. Charles provided amazing service and made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out right. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place had a casual, easygoing vibe, and my order came out fresh, so the wait was worth it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Really good chicken tenders with the spice level you request. Tenders are served on a piece of bread, open-faced, with pickles. They have sauce and honey available for dipping. I got mild spice and it was perfect.

Love their sliders! Chicken is not dry at all, nice and crispy and well seasoned. Bun was soft and slaw had a good crunch to it. I absolutely loved their crinkle fries. I'm usually a shoe string fry kinda person but these fries had the perfect amount of seasoning and it's literally fried to perfection. It was piping hot when we got it, very light crispy on the outside and perfectly soft inside. I did order a side of Mac and cheese and it was just okay. It definitely wasn't made with real cheese. Tasted artificial to me. I would skip that next time. But will be going back for sliders and fries.

Stopped in for a quick bite and left impressed, this might become my new go to chicken sandwich spot. My wife and I split the #1 combo, which comes with two chicken sandwiches (or "sliders," as they call them) and seasoned crinkle fries. We ordered ours with medium heat, and added a side of mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The chicken was juicy, the breading was flavorful, and the spice level was spot on. You can tell they use fresh chicken and take pride in what they serve. Even though they call it a slider, it's a solid size and pretty filling. The crinkle fries were hot, fresh, crispy, with a nice seasoning. I usually do not like thicker fries, but these really hit the spot. The mac and cheese was just okay, nothing memorable. Next time, I will probably stick with just the fries and sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is casual, with some cool wall art that adds a fun touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables looked clean, though they felt a little sticky, possibly from the type of cleaner they use.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great, our server was very friendly and helpful. Definitely planning to come back. That chicken sandwich alone makes it worth the trip.

Cali fire spicy chicken sandwich with cheese fries. They're making chicken sandwiches great again.

So the wife and I ordered the 2 sandwich with fries meal. I got the heat level Cali Fire she got medium. Ordered cheese on fries. Came with 2 sides of their sauce which was damn good. Probably the best chicken sandwich I've had in years. Heat level was on point a little burn but can still taste everything. Give the fries a 8 out of 10 could have been more cheese. Chicken sandwiches were a 9 out of 10. If the bun was slightly better would be a 10. Will come back! They are making chicken spicy again!

#2 meal: one slider and one tender with fries

After over 4 years I tried Cosmic Roosters again and it's so much better! I wish I took pictures so you can see the difference but I ate in the car while being driven. The fries were so much better. In my original picture you can see how like and under seasoned they were. My complaint was that it was limp and bland. Tonight's the fries were heavily seasoned and soooo crispy but not oily. BD and kiddo kept asking for more fries even though they were mine. I love crinkle cut fries and they have nacho liquid cheese to dip which is my fave combo. Great fries. I got one slider and I still love the kale slaw on top. Still wish for a more vinegar kick to it. But this time the chicken was hot, decently seasoned, and CRISPY. My original complaint was that it was under seasoned and missing that CRONCH. Tonight, even after a 30 minute drive that end bite was still crunchy. Great improvement! Even the bun was better. I usually love spicy but today I asked for mild. I wonder if that was the reason why the chicken tasted crispier. Sometimes when they heavily add spice or even like Nashville sauce, it changes the texture of the fried chicken. Wait is still longer than say, Chipotle from next door. Luckily only one person was in front of me so the wait wasn't too long but I bet if it was during a busy time the wait would be a while. Chicken slider with fries and cheese sauce plus tip was almost $20. Great job!

Solid hot chicken spot! The portions here are massive. I ordered online but the food was still delicious when taking it home & eating a bit later. I'm a huge fan of lemon pepper so I had to get that, plus the mild spice. Both had good flavor and were tender while being crunchy on the outside. The sauce here was solid but nothing mind blowing, good to pair with the chicken and fries though. I find lemon pepper at most places to bit a bit oily, and it was the same here but I just dapped it up with a napkin a bit & it was fine, seasonings were still great!

What tricks me up each time are the ordering lines. I don't dine here often enough to commit all of that to memory. When in doubt, I recommend asking a staff member. The hamburger is always a favorite of mine. Big juicy burger patty. The brioche bun is toasted. Fresh fixings. Pricing isn't outrageous. The banana coconut pudding parfait is another go to for me. It's vegan and dairy free and all so delicious! On my last visit, I ordered the red wine braised short rib. It was reheated as all their hot entrees are pre-made. It was not as tender as I anticipated it to be. But it did have a nice flavor. The interior has a modern farmhouse look with a family friendly vibe. The wall to wall windows bring in a lot of light and relaxing views of the town center. The dining room has a lot of seating. There is also an outdoor patio. Since this is not sit down service, there isn't any pressure to rush your dining experience. The salad prices were around $17 with protein sources like chicken an extra $4-8 depending. I opted not to get a protein because I figured at $17 the salad would be a decent size and I really wasn't trying to spend more than $25 on a salad w/tip and tax to be accounted for later on. I ordered the green goddess which said it has broccoli, cucumber, avocado, and gg dressing. I have to say for the price it didn't feel like a good value (hence the 4 stars). It definitely needed the protein option to make it seem more substantial but then at $20+ the value still wouldn't be there. The service, the vibe, the beer was all great so maybe just don't order a salad.

"Sounds good," I heard so across the parking lot was WCSD. In we go. Ordered two 6" BLT, no chips, cookies, or drinks, had water. Over $25.00. After waiting a fair amount of time, the order was ready (there was nobody in the place except three employees.) I brought the pie tins that they serve on to our table. They looked a little flat....odd. After I was seated, I lifted the top off of the sandwich, and where is the tomato? The sandwich was cut in half, so I looked at the other side, it looked the same. Upon further inspection there was ONE 2" diameter slice of tomato on each half of sandwich, approximately 1/8" thick. No kidding. The bacon was some very flat pre made stuff that was resembling aluminum foil in thickness. The lettuce was shreadded into long stripe and was wilty. I went back into the empty store and showed the sandwich maker my open sandwich and asked where the tomato was. She graciously stuck her lingers and thumb into my open sandwich, lifted the bacon and lettuce and proudly said "There it is!" (She did have gloves on. God only knows what she had handled with them on) A supervisor came up and asked what the problem was. I explained that there were no tomatoes on my sandwich. He explained that was how they make them. He offered additional tomato slices, I did not take them. The point is-That was the standard that they serve. It was just ridiculous. Not coming back.
