I showed my vet, who wasn't overly concerned. However, Jillian continued to voice her concern and based on that we did decide to remove and do a biopsy. Well, it was malignant! It is evident the staff absolutely love animals and put such care and dedication into ensuring every dog, cat, etc is not only safe, but having the bestest of times. I'm moving to the Boston area, and one of things that makes it hardest to leave Poulsbo is that Pippin is parting ways with one of his favorite places in the world. I'll forever and ever be grateful for everyone at Big Valley. I broke my leg a few summers ago and they were SO accommodating for me and Pippin, it melted my heart. Keri, Winter, Emma, Tapanga, Dayna, Nicole, Emily, Sarah, Hailey, Ava, Grace, Cal, Dylan, Megan, Keeley, Gideon, Meadow, and anyone else I missed - thank you all SO MUCH for being the best extended family for Pippin. They contacted me the next morning and were even patient enough to wait for me to answer (screened the call using Google assist since I did not recognize the number). Alexes was professional and asked questions about my dog to make sure it was a good fit. He has never been groomed professionally before so I appreciate that they take the time to ask about the dog as well as my expectations. I scheduled for the following week. The location is easy to find just off 153rd. I rang the bell and was greeted by Angie and Alexes. They let Gryff smell around and smell them while we chatted and I signed the consent form. My boy decided to mark their sandwich sign in the lobby (which I am so sorry for!) I had my hands full with my baby and trying to finish the paperwork but they promptly cleaned it up for me and made me feel comfortable because they didn't have an angry or negative reaction and I knew that they would stay calm with my boy and treat him well. They estimated a 3 hour session and called me after 2.5 hours to let me know they were finishing up. Upon pickup they were friendly and showed me pictures of the bath process and told me about how it went. Thankfully it went well, Gryff was well behaved and now my dog is 10lbs lighter!
