It is a diagnostic fee that they used to secure your appointment. It goes towards nothing and you won't see it back no matter what ends up happening. I requested a technician to look at a washing machine for me and they were quick to schedule and have someone come out and look initially. The actual technician was very polite and knowledgeable, and I don't want this to reflect on them, but the company as a whole is run very poorly and it seems their supply chain resources are not the best. I had to have the part that was required ordered TWICE. First, because the manufacturer shipped the wrong part and no one checked to verify before doing service until the technician was literally in my house. The second time, I had to ask several time about delivery, verification of parts and then scheduling. 3.5 weeks AFTER the INITIAL diagnoses, I finally had an appointment for the technician to come out and install the second ordered part and confirmed with them yesterday that they had verified the part and confirmed the timeframe... 30 minutes INTO the window of service, I get a call from the company saying that they refunded me for the part but not the initial diagnostic fee... And when I ask when they were going to re-order the part and provide service, they stated that they had no intentions of ordering another part and would not complete service... now I've wasted time and made myself available for the third time and they didn't even offer to refund any part of the initial fee despite them inconveniencing me.
