Honestly, I have nothing but kind thoughts about this place. Came here looking for a last minute birthday treat for a dog I am babysitting. You walk in and its incredibly cozy. The ceilings, to the walls are lined with doggy toys and doggy outfits. There's a shelf at the front filled with doggie cookies, peanut butter cups and cake. The owner saw me looking a little bemused but, she was more than willing to help me out. She's kind and very knowledgeable, knew to a T what ingredients were in her products and even had more of a selection upstairs. I ended up getting a cupcake shaped cookie for $6 for the birthday boy and he was ecstatic! Well worth it to see our pup so happy. read more

My bf and I stopped in for the first time this weekend and already know we will be coming here in the future whenever we visit Port Jeff. The store itself is a dream for any dog owner! (They also had a selection of cat products that the owner took the time to show us and explain which items might be liked by our furry feline friend.) They had a great selection of quality healthy treats and foods, a few of which I did take home to my pups. They also had a wide array of different NY sport team jerseys and I was so happy to find a Yankees jersey in a XXXL for my pitty. The best thing about Fetch is Patty the owner. What an amazing place!!! First of all as I walked in. There were so many cute dogs that were visiting and picking out their favorite treats. We looked around and I knew that I wanted to bring back some yummy treats for my dog Truman in California. They have this amazing gourmet dog treat section that has a huge selection of super cute dog treats. The owner was so kind and she even gave me some treats for Truman on her. I will definitely make sure I stop here every single time I'm in the area, I am home now and Truman sniffed out those treats faster than I could unpack them. I recently moved to LI and quickly found this beautiful boutique. When I first visited with my dog, Hades, she was truly one of the nicest people I got the pleasure of meeting. Not only does my dog pull me all the way to Fetch after a romp around the beach but he absolutely loves Patty ( and her treats!) and I don't blame him, she greets everyone that comes in and treats them all with respect and always gives her honest opinion! My older dog recently got very picky about his food and I had hesitation in going to a retail chain to find a new food because I thought they would try and get me to buy the most expensive so I asked Patty and she gave me a few recommendations on the popular foods and how to get him to eat. Fetch is a really fun place. They have a lot of unique items for your pet. We ordered a birthday cake for our little boy Buddy. Patty showed us our choices and what the cake will look like. I had the most wonderful experience as the owner patiently gave me different types of collars and harnesses to try on these rather hard to fit body types . We were in Port Jeff for the day and walking the town with our chihuahua. Well, we were walking and he was being carried. Anyway, we have always had a hard time finding a harness for him because he's very broad-chested for a chi. We thought that we'd take a look in Fetch and see if they have anything that we hadn't seen before. We were greeted by Patty right when we walked in. While we were entering, a truck driver had just finished bringing a shipment into the store. As we started browsing Patty was giving him a cold drink and had him stand near the air conditioner to cool off (it was a hot day). Before we even spoke to her we were impressed with how kind she was to that gentleman. When we told her that we were looking for a harness, she showed us different styles and sizes that might work on our "husky" boy, and even locked the door to the shop for a few minutes while he was trying harnesses on after we told her that he was a potential runner. Patty gave us her undivided attention and we eventually found a harness that fit him nicely, which is a small miracle. A few times people walked in while we were there and she greeted them by name, also impressive! I really could go on and on, but suffice it to say that we were impressed with the selection and quality of items in this shop and completely blown-away by how incredibly helpful, friendly and kind Patty was. We so enjoyed our visit to Fetch and will visit again the next time we're in the area. read more

I go to Fetch frequently for my dog's food. Patty is so sweet and she will spends hours with you answering all your questions regarding your dogs needs. When I first brought my puppy home I was unsure what brand to feed her and I wanted to make sure whichever brand I purchased was holistic. Not only did she spend endless amount of time explaining the differences amongst the brands but she gave me samples to bring home so I didn't have to settle on a big bag of food without knowing if my puppy liked it. I was so shocked at how kind she was. She has a true passion for pets and is so patient. Weeks later she helped me fit my puppy for a harness. Anyone who has a miniature pinscher knows they are hard to fit for a harness. They have such tiny necks and legs but a bigger belly ahaha. She tried on every single brand in the store until we found the right one. My puppy was getting a little frustrated toward the end and still Patty continued to calm her down and give her treats so we could continue to find the right one. I could tell endless amounts of stories of my experiences here but what brought me to post tonight was the fact that I arrived there at 5pm today (which is closing time) however I thought the store closed at 6. Patty saw me and still welcomed me in even though she was getting ready to leave. She was out of the bag of food I typically purchased so she made other recommendations of different flavors within the same brand. I was apprehensive to switch foods but she assured me that staying within the same line that my dog should be just fine and probably excited to try something new. She grabbed a shopping bag and filled it with some more samples until she could order my normal bag and get it to the store. Little do you know I got home and my dog went crazy eating her food! This isn't a typical boutique. Usually people think boutiques are expensive and the staff are stuck up. Not here! The staff is passionate about what they do and so willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied with all of your purchases. I went here hoping to find a sweater for my Goldendoodle, as I've had trouble getting her a sweater that fits at other stores. The woman who was there, was so helpful, even offered to order anything in case they didn't have her size in stock. They have leashes, harnesses, collars, sweaters, coats, all types of treats!
