Our sitter was phenomenal! She took such good care of our kitties and sent us an abundance of pictures every day that we were gone. This is something of a "review in progress" as I am still a happy client! Fetch! has been walking my corgi for about four months now and I have been very pleased with them. Both of us owners have to work most of the day so we were worried about the corgi needing a break and potty time. Our walker is consistent within the requested window and Fetch! has been very responsive to special requests. Previous walkers (outside of Fetch!) would often arrive at the very beginning or very end of the window most of the time which meant our poor pup was stuck waiting 7+ hours for her next potty break. Furthermore, the price is very reasonable and they even thought to reach out ahead of Memorial Day to confirm whether we would need a walk! 5/5 would recommend! read more

Incredible! We called Tamara who runs the North Seattle Fetch operation in a panic. We needed to go out of town the next day and needed someone to let our 3 dogs out to potty three times while we were gone. In no time, she called with the walker's number who was available. That afternoon, Cari was at our door, meeting everyone. The dogs acted like they had known her forever. It was all fantastic. While this service claims to put customers first, the bottom line is that they really just want your money by essentially penalizing you THE CLIENT, $5,000.00 if you choose to use their pet sitter independently of Fetch. Why penalize the consumer $5,000.00 (READ THEIR CONTRACT-Pet Sitting Agreement) YOU, the consumer are agreeing to not use the Sitter (that according to Fetch is an Independent Contractor) outside of Fetch. If you do, you will be taken to court and fined $5,000! This policy is supposedly in effect for 24months from the time the Sitter moves on-not from the time you sign the contract! Not only is this ludicrous, unethical and abhorrent customer services, it is a very tricky and backhanded way of forcing you to stay with their company. For example: The woman I spoke to on the phone a couple months ago when I needed a pet sitter, was very nice and connected me with an Independent Pet Sitter, (contracted with Fetch) right away whom I spoke with on the phone shortly thereafter. The Sitter sounded responsible,likable and her BIO was wonderful as well. After a few conversations and emails back and forth trying to pin down a time to meet in person, I was excited I had found what I needed and couldn't wait to meet this Sitter that I would be entrusting with my pet. (I do not take this lightly, my pet is like one of my kids) During this timeframe I was sent an email with a link to the paperwork necessary for me to use Fetch as a company. BIG YIKES! Now, I don't suppose many people read the fine print, or fully understand it, BUT I was shocked to read that I as the CUSTOMER would be fined $5,000.00 for using this same Pet Sitter, outside of Fetch, should she choose to leave Fetch for any reason. Yes, you read that right, $5000.00 fine for up to two years, from the time the sitter quits contracting with Fetch! Why should I be penalized for a situation that clearly is between the Independent Contractor and Fetch! and has nothing to do with me, the consumer? Fetch! Should fine the SITTER not the CLIENT. Now, logically speaking, I didn't ever meet or talk to the owner of the company-I simply did not want to waste my time with the person that would enforce such a back handed tactic. Essentially, by this contract you MUST sign to use the Sitter, binds you for 2 years into trying to find another sitter you trust with your pet, should your sitter choose to relinquish their relationship with Fetch! and take clients on their own merit. This takes away the CONSUMERS FREEDOM OF CHOICE and pigeon holes you into having to stay with their company and starting the entire process over with SIGNING A NEW CONTRACT should you need a new sitter(because yours may have moved on, gotten a new job, etc). They are quick to state that they have 40+ sitters available to you, but what insurance do I have that the entire process wont happen again? The only relationship you ever develop with Fetch is the relationship with the SITTER. Why should I be forced to have any monetary loyalty to Fetch as a company when it is their INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR(that they boast can take on their own clients)then turn around and FINE YOU if you trust and develop a relationship with one of their sitters ?????? This place should be fined themselves for even trying to monopolize the market like this. It is a very sneaky, underhanded and unethical way to do business with the public. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your due diligence and NOT sign your next two years away, simply because you like one of their sitters. Nothing is guaranteed that that sitter will STAY WITH YOU. I understand the need to run a business, but do it HONESTLY, by quality customer service, exceptional care and honest practices. I found an amazing INDEPENDENT small sitter that my dog adores and I can't imagine doing without. I am shocked that someone else hasn't found this to be unethical as well. I've tried to use Fetch twice now. Two years ago in Bothell I needed a dog walker 5 times a week but the dog walker would cancel on me half of the time. Recently I tried again when I moved to Greenwood, I needed someone to board my dog twice a month for 2 days when I travel for work. I went thru all the paperwork and meet & greet only to find out 4 days before I needed my dog boarded that the dog sitter's apartment didn't allow dogs that weighed 20lbs. I wish Fetch would do their research before assigning a dog sitter to me. read more

My husband and I used Fetch Pet Care of Seattle North for the first time last weekend. We needed someone to stay at our Ballard home and take care of our two Bichons and our bunny while we were away for 3 days. Everything about Fetch was positive! We were a bit hesitant to have a "stranger" stay at our house and care for our pets, but Melissa's and Tamara's responsiveness and professionalism put our minds at ease. They provided us with references, answered all of our questions promptly, and assigned Bonnie as our pet sitter, who was fabulous. Bonnie also provided her own personal references, along with a professional resume, and came to meet me and the critters several days before our trip. My dogs (who can be quite shy) immediately liked Bonnie and she spent time getting to know us and what needed to be done while my husband and I were away. While we were gone, we received frequent emails from Bonnie updating us on the home front and when we returned, she had left a detailed "diary" of everything that happened each day. She also watered our plants and yard, and our house was tidier than when we left! I will absolutely use Fetch's services in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others! read more

I recently boarded my dog with Fetch in West Seattle, and it was a great experience. I had a last minute emergency and needed board immediately. I called Fetch and got a prompt response and was able to drop off my dog that night. I was worried about my younger dog being away from our older dog, but she loved the experience and had fun playing with all the other dogs. The boarding is actually in someone's house, so I didn't feel so bad leaving her since she would feel at home rather than be sitting in a kennel. I will definitely use Fetch again:) read more

Most people know I'm a little obsessed with my cat. I won't accept anything but the best care for her. After a stressful year with many changes in our family, I was feeling uncomfortable leaving town. Pet sitters I had hired in the past had been unreliable, though promising to stay in touch while I was away, I wouldn't hear from them, and would spent my whole trip worrying about whether anyone was actually caring for Domino. To me, anyone caring for someone's pet should be taking it very seriously and running a tight business. My cat means the world to me, and that should matter who whoever is caring for her. After reading other Yelp reviews, I decided to try Fetch. I was impressed right away. Their website was informative, and I received a response to my email request for more information within an hour. They provided information and references for the pet sitter, Lynn, who was available during a busy Thanksgiving weekend. They also gathered thorough information from me about all of Domino's needs, and I felt reassured by this. They were straightforward about costs, and provided plenty of information about their different services. Setting up payment online was easy, and I received a detailed invoice upon conclusion of my trip. Lynn, the pet sitter assigned for my first trip, stopped by briefly to meet Domino and me prior to my leaving town. While I was away, she texted me daily to update me on how Domino was doing. When I got home, Domino barely looked up from her nap, which tells me she got plenty of attention while Lynn was visiting. I can officially say that I won't be nervous leaving town anymore. And knowing that there is an established company behind every pet sitter is very comforting - I know that if an emergency happens and the assigned cat sitter can't make it, the company would step in and help. We were gone for a couple of weeks over the Thanksgiving holiday. We have two cats that do not like being left at home for too long. When we get home we usually find one angry and irritated cat, the other cat is usually the reason for the first cat's irritation. Our cat-sitter seemed to do a great job. We received updates every few days. They took out the trash on trash day, picked up the mail and did the normal cat chores (feeding, meds, cat litter). Fetch! Pet Care of North Seattle has been a wonderful experience. I just got a new puppy and after the first week staying home with him and bonding it has been such a stress reliever to know my puppy is in good hands now that I'm going back to work. They have come each day to let him out of his crate, give him some love and attention, let him potty and stretch his legs. What I love most is the caregivers love him. They constantly tell me how much they like him and how cute they think he is. It just makes it even better knowing they love the pets they take care of so much and are so invested in what they do. We have a wonderful dog walker from Fetch that comes over twice a week to walk our dalmatian. They have really connected and we get lots of feedback, photos, and videos from their neighborhood excursions. She usually brings a toy and takes time to break midway through the walk for some playtime. Our dog is very social so she always takes the opportunity to meet other dogs when appropriate. She has been our walker for nearly a year now and we couldn't be happier. The billing is easy and she's very flexible with adjusting days or times if needed. Only reason I give 4 stars is because I've only used the service once for a very brief 30 min. visit. But I plan to use them more going forward. The response is virtually immediate, and the service itself was great. I have a recently diagnosed diabetic dog who has to have his meals and insulin shots at the same time each day, and my husband and I had tickets to an event which completely conflicted with the time for his evening meal and injection. Fetch paired us with a young and experienced sitter who lives close enough to walk to our apartment, and she is super nice and accommodating. She sent me a text message after she left our place giving us an update and I'm happy to say, because of that, I was able to thoroughly enjoy my evening. read more

We used their services for our tortoise for the first time recently, for an almost two week trip over the Christmas holiday. We've used other sitters before, each who worked for themselves. However, previously we never felt 100% that they showed up each day. Plus we were always concerned if they couldn't show up for whatever reason that they didn't have backup. With a small animal, its tough to know whether they are actually taken care of each day during our trip. Someone could just come at the end of the trip and clean up. Quite a scary thought, as our little guy is our baby and leaving him at home is tough enough, without having to worry about his well being. From the start I liked how they have quite an online presence...we sent a request online and within a couple hours got an e-mail response. Then we were set up with our sitter Tamlyn, who lives very close to us, which makes me even more comfortable considering the winter driving conditions at times. They have the standard release and information forms you fill out online, plus you can set up a credit card to have on file. I like that, versus having to remember to leave a check and know the correct amount. They have an online calendar so you can confirm what days you have visits scheduled, and they e-mail an itemized bill. The cost seems quite reasonable, even the holiday surcharges. You can even give a tip by credit card. We set up an initial visit and hit things off. At that time we went over what needed to be done and handed over the key and such. They are also willing to water plants, check the mail, etc, as time allows. We requested an unusual extra, a grocery store run midway through the trip, as our tortoise eats fresh lettuce, and that went well. Plus it was nice to arrive home and not need to run out to the store right away! While we were gone our sitter stayed in contact, even including a cute photo and holiday wishes. She also had a good understanding of what required a phone call (although it turned out to be a false alarm) and what could be e-mailed. I didn't have that worried feeling throughout the trip, and feel confident our tortoise was well cared for. We're looking forward to using Fetch! again in the future. read more

We have used Fetch! sitters for overnights for many years now, to care for our special needs dachshund and our kitty, who ended up living a couple of years with cancer and needed special meds. Our regular sitter, Lynn, is excellent, and handles overnights and complicated pet meds, stays in touch with us, and leaves us a clean house to come home to, which is priceless. We don't always have a lot of notice when we travel, so when she's booked, we know Fetch! will find someone to come stay with our pets, which is such an anxiety reliever! We've used Fetch! of North Seattle many times -- sometimes at the last minute -- to housesit/dogsit for our two not-so-perfectly-behaved basenjis. We've had several different sitters from Fetch!. Each one is better than the last. I'd trust them to handle my bank accounts. (Money is somewhat less precious than our dog-faced children.) Tamara has never, ever said she couldn't help us. We used Fetch for a few midday dog walks and a couple of potty breaks while we were out for the day. When I questioned the billing as compared to my bank statments I was called liar by the staff person. When I asked to speak with someone else who in the past had been very freindly and professional I was told that person was not available. I then asked to speak with the owner. That person also was not available. I asked for phone numbers for both individuals and I was told they did not have any, nor email. I had no choice but to wait for a return call. Eventually the owner called back and she apologized for the rude and unprofessional staff person. I expressed my concern about not being able to talk with the owner should there be an emergency with my pets. I am entrusting my dogs in their care which I do not take lightly. The owner again apologized profusely and went on to say at great length how they pride themselves on good customer service, etc. At the end of that, the owner fired me as a custormer and suggested I go elsewhere. Obviously, customer service is not high on their list and they strive to only do the bare minimum. When it comes to the care of my dogs, that is not acceptable. I am so glad I found out early on and before something serious happened that Fetch is not a reliable pet care service. read more

Over priced read the fine print they gouge during the holidays. Forget discussing any complaints the owner will talk over you, and does not care if you have concerns or complaints all about profits. I gave my credit card a week before service they wrote it down wrong and hounded me for it I work i'm busy. I had to ask 3 times for the invoice. I have too many complaints to waste more time writing 2 nights and 2 visits 270 bucks never again read more

I've had the same pet walker the whole time and trust her completely with my dog. She's never let me down and always shows up. The business is professionally run and the billing is always accurate. Once you are set up with someone, you communicate directly with your walker which I like. If I change my schedule, I receive an immediate email confirming the change and my invoice reflects that change. I think their rates are quite competitive. read more

Our dog walker Blake is awesome. My boyfriend and I are extremely picky and paranoid when it comes to our puppy and we trust Blake 100%. Today our puppy wasn't feeling well and made a stinky mess in his crate while we were at work. Blake walked into this mess and cleaned it all up! This is definitely not part of the job description so she went wayyy above and beyond and out of her way to help us. More importantly when she called me at work she was more worried about our puppy versus the gross mess she cleaned up.
