    Tattoo class
    Angel S.

Learn how to tattoo (on a melon because it's the most skin-like item). Tattoo class comes with one free drink. The tattoo class in the basement and the bar on the first floor. Pretty fun but it's just far away for us - it's in Flatbush, Brooklyn. It was a super fun experience! We booked it through Bucket Listers. The staffs were nice and attentive. The music was playing pretty loudly and it was quite hype! Nice vibes.

Classes start at 7:30 to accommodate the late comers. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable experience! The staff were very informative about the process of tattooing. During the class, you are offered the drink of beer or cocktail, included in your cooking. After class, you have the option of taking the melon home. I chose to take mine (see photo).

Service A+, Food A, drinks A+. I went before the show at the Kings Theatre only one block away. The service was so good we came back after the show. We we're welcomed like we've been there every week. I had the mango margarita and omg it was so good. I even had a shot and it was amazing brace yourself you have to order from the bar and then sit to be served. I plan on going back!

I randomly stumbled onto this bar as i walking to the Kings theater. I saw they had a happy hour for $8 margs and mojitos. So i stopped in with a friend to catch a drink after work. The margarita was amazing! One of the best I've had in a little while. The 3 stars comes from the service. Although they were okay after moving seats to the bar to get noticed, we had to move in order to get served. That didn't sit right with me. I, like anyone else, likes good customer service. Especially a small place. No greeting or anything. I only noticed this because they greeted others and served them immediately as they entered. So that kinda rubbed me the wrong way a bit. The margarita was awesome tho! So check them out if you're in the area.

Had a decent time but won't necessarily be suggesting any friends/family to check it out. Went specifically for the tattoo class. Class was scheduled for 7pm on a Sat. Arrived early (like 6:25pm) and was told the class doesn't actually start until 7:30pm. There wasn't a specific delay. Apparently they do this for all classes to accommodate late comers. That was disappointing because the night was planned based on the class being 7-9. We opted to eat there. We picked our own seats and the tables are marked to order at the bar. Not a fan of that but went with the flow. Menu was simple. We ordered 1 order of tacos, 1 order of empanadas, and 2 drinks. Including 20% tip, everything waaas $75. Ultimately totally overpriced for the food aand overaall experience. 1 drink had something in it. Opted to let it be. The beef in the beef empanadas is mixed with potatoes so the texture is mushy. Ordered chicken tacos no avocados. They came out with no avocados and no pico de gallo. Bought it to the waiters attention and he took them back. He said the new ones would be out in 6 min. Wasn't sure why they had to redo the order. The tacos came back, but now the chicken wasn't chunks, it was shredded and had avocados...and still no pico de gallo. Waiters primary language was not English so maybe that was the disconnect. Called over another staff member and she said the tacos don't come with pico de gallo because they chicken is sautéed with it. Menu in no way indicates this. And there was no sign of any mixed with the chicken which you'd expect if they were sautéed together. Other than the confusion, the food was ok. They're located on Flatbush just down the block from the Kings Theatre. The ambiance is old neighborhood bar. Music could have been turned down a notch or two. They had the Knicks game playing (on I saw 4 TVs and a projector) so the Mr was entertained during the unexpected additional wait time. Then it came time for class. The tattoo salon is downstairs. It's not a huge space and they had 24 people in the class. They crammed 4 people to a table and it was standing only. The same female staffer from upstairs was the host. She gave some info on the shops history, introduced the owner, and gave instructions on what we'd be doing. Then you were basically left to your own devices to tattoo some stencils they provided. She had an assistant but he basically sat around unless someone asked him for something. I'm not sure where the host ended up. She never came by our table during the session. Even with starting "late" we still left early. We each tattooed 2 designs on our cantelope and weren't gonna just stand there until 9pm, so we left. Sharing 1 tattoo gun with your partner is 1 thing, but sharing the table was difficult - from the vibration to people moving around and knocking into the table. The host described the class as drink and ink and they provided everyone a complimentary drink. That was a welcome surprise. I believe it was some sort of mango and pineapple punch (alcoholic). Would try a similar class again but not here.

Came here for happy hour with some friends a few months ago. The drinks are awesome! Delicious but also strong. The food was less than mediocre, and there really isn't a huge menu. I had the chips and guac. Guac was ok, plantains were ok. The portion wasn't worth the price either. But to be honest, I didn't go there to eat, and I don't usually have high hopes for the food in bars anyway. Soo, 4 stars are for the staff, atmosphere and drinks obvi. Although, we sat outside; when I did go inside to use the restroom, I enjoyed the easygoing mood. There's also Jenga, which imo is an ideal, simple enough to play drinking game. The staff were friendly and charming too so thats always a good time when you're drinking. I also appreciate the 2 in one theme here (even if I am un tattooed.) I probably wouldn't break my neck to come back but it's a nice option if you're in the area.

I really like this place. They have a special place in my heart because they do Flash tattoos on Fridays the 13th. I got some super cute tattoos there. The staff are friendly. The tattoo artist are professional and precise. The bar that connects to the tattoo parlor has cocktails. They have themed nights and also have special nights where you get to be the tattoo artist..... On melons of course, not skin. They also have life size jenga and games in the back. Check it out. Have a drink....or a tat.

Very fun tattoo class! Easy to follow instructions but also you can freehand some designs. Unique idea and perfect for a date night

Had a fantastic time here, there is nothing in the area. And I mean nothing, traveling here is a a job but the staff are nice and Fun. I arrived about a hour before my learn "how to tattoo class" and he bartender was nice and funny and helpful. She even told me I could get food to deliver and eat it at the bar, while drinking. Which was awesome and unheard of. We went downstairs for the Class and it was awesome. It's so cool and so much fun, I had so much fun even though I sucked at it. The staff are are so nice and so friendly. I would could come regularly if I was in the area.

Delivery was very good. Looking forward to eating there. It's latin cuisine with a bar twist.

Learn how to tattoo class was great! Maya was a fantastic mentor, and we had a great night. Would recommend! Yasmin and Jasmine were great support

I went to the bar portion of this establishment and for the atmosphere is pretty decent, not too spacious but that's not a big deal the issue is the bartender, don't remember her name, but she made me a margarita which literally taste like armpits, I KID YOU NOT & when she was done making my drink she just left on the bar table, IDK if that usually happens at bars, I don't go to bars often but yeah & when I got my drink there were brown stuff on the rim of the glass where the salt is located & when I asked what's that she simply replied with salt .. ANYWAYSSSSSSSS This establish is in my neighborhood & I try my best to try out stuff in my neighborhood, but this is a miss for me

    2 little drinks, mostly ice...

I just saw they dont offer sat classes. Has this changed? I purchased tickets from fever as well for a sat for myself & my son as a gift for his 21st bday. I will call the shop as well to ask.

How much would it be for an industrial piercing?

    It's 45 dollars

Piercing prices? Can I get piercings if I'm 17?

    Yes you can.

After getting back from being out of town celebrating my birthday, I wanted Caribbean cuisine. Thanks to Yelp, I found this gem of a restaurant. First, the place is huge. This is a place for a party. Greeted by Amantha, a vibrant young lady, was a plus. Our visit was on a Monday night, when they have an all-day happy hour. Be careful of their cocktails because when they say "boozy," they mean it. I let Amantha make all the suggestions for us because, hey, if she doesn't know what's good, who does? I always want fish, so she suggested the Snapper, and noted that it would be a 35-minute wait because "everything" is made fresh. Gordon Ramsay would be thrilled. So, we ordered appetizers. Rose's Shrimp Empanadas were delicious. The shrimp were succulent and not overcooked. The Mini Gold Delights, plantain cups filled with Tassot (fried goat) and topped with pikitz (spicy slaw), a must-have!! Both served with their Golden Sauce, a savory mustardy sauce similar to a Dijon vinaigrette. Both of these were washed down with Gen Bagay cocktails (we had two). On to the main courses. I ordered the Brooklyn Red Snapper stew, with white rice and a black bean sauce. The Snapper was spectacular. It was enough for three people. It was heavier in texture than Asian steamed fish, and yet lighter than the cousin Jamaican Escovitch Fried Red Snapper. But baby, talk about flavor. My partner ordered the Blue Goat, a savory, unctuous dish with a rich gravy, served with Djon- Djon, a native rice dish of Haiti, made with black mushrooms, a part of the cooking process, leaving an umami-packed punch of flavor. My man said that this was the best rice he had ever eaten! , If you are not used to eating Haitian cuisine, have Amantha show you how to eat it. There is actually a ritual to blending these flavors, which made a difference. We had leftovers, but the best part is that the food was even better the next day!!! Not many restaurants can say that. They celebrated my birthday, which extended my celebration. Thank you, Golden Blue Restaurant. I will be back, and my out-of-state cousins want to come too. Now I know why, during our visit, many folks were coming in for takeout or Uber Eats! I will definitely be back!

I already saw the piercings and tattoos he did on other people which came out flawless, he really does have an eye for detail. I decided to give him a shot on my latest tattoo. His tattoo shop was located on the second floor near avenue m and utica avenue so I couldn't find it at first but once you go upstairs you are greeted with a friendly smile. The shop is very small and nothing fancy but he lets you go on the computer with him to search for the designs you want or you can email him in advance. He was really patient with me since I was picky about the size and designs but he gave me honest opinions, but even if he doesn't agree with your vision he still will do whatever you want at the end of the day. He helped me find a scorpion design that wasn't too masculine and I was able to i corporate beautiful colors into the design. Despite the fact that he did my ankle which is super painful he was really gentle and patient with me(my foot fell asleep ten times lol). He also did a good job at shading and blending colors together and he did the tattoo super fast. The needles are brand new out the package and he constantly cleaned my skin in between job. The best part is I only paid $100 for the design he is extremely reasonable, I am dying to go back for another one already. Maybe he's good at tattoos, but based off experience and the looks of his Google Reviews, he is poorly skilled at doing piercings... Similar to others here, my husband also said it was extremely painful and that he bled more than he expected to. About a day later, his nose became inflammed and the piercing disappeared into his nose... We knew something was not right so we went to another piercer for advice. This person said that it was a poorly done piercing and that any knowledgable professional would have not used such a short, curved ring on a new piercing, let alone on a male because their nose cartilage is much thicker than females. You have to use a longer bar to accomodate for swelling during the healing process. He paid $25 at Vinny's and then $38 elsewhere to get a new ring installed... Just go to someone else who knows what they are doing and is professional enough to accept criticism. If this is a common complaint by your clients, why not take measures to prevent it?
