Had the best experience as a walk-in client! Jairo greeted me at the shop and helped me finalize a design I had wanted for awhile. I had a reference photo of the tofu dressed as a pig, but he helped design the other two characters and I LOVE how it turned out! After his first design, there were a couple things missing that I had pictured in my mind. I explained them to him and he was able to make adjustments super quickly! The vibe here was prices were given off the top of their heads everything is done cash so the irs won't know how much they're really making in income also mexican kid and his dad have an attitude when u ask if why they don't take debit cards they get upset the tattoo artist was complaining about a 7 inch tattoo having too much detail like Make ur client happy we are paying you in cash this isn't a free job so why all the rudeness if u see people coming to get their tatts more than once then u have to protect your clientele while making money and charging decent prices for the work but 90 percent of them act like they're doing you a favor and it's for free I recently passed by them and saw a weed shop either they moved and are under a new name or they went outta business either way treat ur customers with respect stop being so damn rude and stop providing services with no clear price chart for ur clients do better other artist that work there quit obviously its not a good place to work father and son duos are aholes read more

I went here recently to get my nose pierced. I wouldn't say I was horrified and and I wouldn't say I was impressed. The piercing area was clean. The piercer opened everything in front of me and sterilized everything while I was watching. This was appreciated, but I wish he had actually spoken to me about what he was doing. Yes the piercing hurt like a bitch, but the guy was quick and did a great job with placement. My major complaint is that there was no discussion about aftercare until I brought it up. And then it was in relation to the product that I purchase. The pricing was decent, at $35 with the aftercare. However, I probably won't go back. I appreciate piercers who engage the client a little bit more, even if I had visible piercings and tattoos. read more

Came in for a nose piercing and they did it same day, pretty straightforward and $30 included the jewelry. A few days after I got it, the ring came out of my nose after getting hooked on terry cloth from a towel I was drying my face with! I ran in randomly around 9pm on a weeknight and they took care of it, free of charge. Nice people. read more

I initially had a consultation at a tattoo shop in Park Slope and the artist at that shop was going to charge me $1000. I thought that was absurd and decided to go on a hunt for another shop. I found Torres Tattoo shop and was greeted by Grego. He was very nice and inviting. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he immediately downloaded the picture and got it stenciled to fit my arm. The entire tattoo took three hours but Grego gave me a 10 minute break after realizing the pain was becoming a little much. I am so happy with the end result. And I only paid $300! I was a former client of this place and was always somewhat pleased with the outcome, somewhat pleased.... I use that loosely because there were times where they didn't know what they were doing. But my boyfriend decided to come with me this time and as soon as I walk in, I get a very negative response from the owner, assuming that he was only friendly to me because he has a thing for me. But they immediately start talking about me and my boyfriend in Spanish and talking to me as if I was an idiot. When I would ask a question, I would get a smirk and a unsure nod. That's besides the fact that they kept giving me and my boyfriend dirty looks. I got the piercing but I will definitely not go here anymore due to the immaturity of the staff and especially since they have no idea what they are doing (the tattoo artist besides me was messing up someone's tattoo and smirking about it) read more

Don't go there if you're anything but Spanish because they are fucking racist. My two friends and I had an appointment for 730pm yesterday for a small tattoo for each of us, which would only take 5 minutes each. We had tickets for something for 945 so we figured we had enough time. When we got there there was two other girls getting tattoos, one finishing up and the other had to start. They told us it would be a little bit because there was only one tattoo artist there so we said ok. We paid ahead of time and signed our waivers. About 45-50 minutes later, a guy walked in with two other guys and a woman. They were speaking in the guys at the shop in Spanish so we didn't understand what they were saying. He then looks at us and says this guy WALKED IN earlier and now came back because they were unavailable before to do his HOUR LONG tattoo, and that he would now go and we couldn't. So of course we were pissed. We had an appointment whereas this guy didn't and our tattoos combined would take less than 20 minutes. We explained this to the guy at the shop and he then translated to the kid getting the tattoo. The kid supposed to get the tattoo told us that we could go before him. Another 20 minutes or so passed because the girl prior was still getting her tattoo. When she was done we walked over towards the chairs and were ready to go. All of a sudden one of the guys with this kid starting yelling in Spanish where all we could understand was "three girls" and the guy from the shop saying "pequino" (Spanish for small). Without anyone speaking English, the kid who was getting the hour long tattoo goes over to the chair and the tattoo artist starts putting the outline on him. Not only a huge piece on his stomach but an additional piece on his chest, so two tattoos that would take very long. No one spoke for 5 minutes and we finally said umm hello what's going on? The guy told us that this kids friend didn't want us going and the kid changed his mind and we couldn't go even though ours would be so quick. We explained that we had an appointment over an hour and a half ago and these people were walk ins. After a few words back and forth we demanded our money back and told them we would never use them again. Side note that my friend I was with who was getting the tattoo has gotten all of her 5 tattoos there, two of which she has just gotten this month alone and they know of her well. So we wound up going crazy and finding another place that was MUCH more clean and MUCH more professional then this place will ever be. I suggest no one ever go here again, especially if you're not Spanish because they are clearly only good to their own kind. I went to get a small tattoo of a cross on my wrist. I was told it would be a minimum of $50 cash only. I went to an ATM across the street, and when I came back, the artist had the tattoo gun set up. He never gave me the opportunity to verify that he was using a new, sterile needle, which in my opinion is a big mistake. Another mistake was that I was never asked for any ID to verify my age. The tattoo i got is no more than 1/2 inch long, and unfortunately the tattoo is blown out. I think it is mediocre when an "experienced" tattoo "artist" cannot successfully tattoo a simple cross. Non the less, I would never go back there because of the lack of professionalism and talent. Good luck to all future customers. read more
