Mother Nature vs Fibermark We had worked with Mark starting in the 90s. Have not had any needs for several years. Along came the Woolsey Fire of Nov 2018. Our insurance was willing to pay to have everything cleaned, rugs, upholstered furniture, all our corded outdoor furniture. The carrier approved 100% of Mark's detailed bid. We waited until the ash, wind and heaviest rains subsided. Then his movers picked up virtually a house full of furniture, returned it 2.5 weeks later. Everything looks pretty much like the day we first bought it. Incredible, since we have owned some of these these items for 20 years. I'm including outdoor furniture and pillows exposed to the ash from a fire storm which came half a block away. Hope Mother Nature never has you test how amazing Mark's work can be. My wife and I embarked on an extensive home remodeling project and decided it was a good time to send out our living room rug to get cleaned and out of harm's way during construction. Dropped off a white chair before the holidays and needed it back last week and they completed the job perfectly. The chair was never professionally cleaned and the owner wanted it to be "whiter" and the pen marks removed. When I picked up the chair last week I could definitely tell it was cleaned and I knew the pen marks probably wouldn't come off so I wasn't worried about them still being there. Apparently ink is difficult to get off. Either way it was done in a reasonable time and the price was affordable. You can contact them via Yelp and they guide you through the entire process. I have always dreamed of finding something in front of a stranger's home that is discarded, yet something I could fix up and love! This dream came true a couple of months ago. I found a pair of mid century modern chairs on a quiet street in Venice. They were worn down and dirty with stains, however they were sturdy! I grabbed the chairs and brought them to be cleaned by FIbermark and couldn't be happier! They were so gross before but Claude did such an amazing job with them! I wondered if I would need to get them reupholstered but after talking to Claude about the intricate stitching that comes with mid century quality work (and how you can't find that same quality of work nowadays, we decided to try cleaning them first. They are beautiful chairs again. Claude and Patricia are the best! Claude is there early on Saturday's and I love that because my schedule is perfect for the early hours - he always greets you with a smile and happy energy. The carpet store recommended this cleaning company. They were prompt and so thorough. You pay by the hour and they gave me the approximate cost and it was correct. They are not inexpensive but well worth it. It took two hours and I was able to throw in some carpet mats and some areas of my couch. Danny was very nice and was very accommodating. I have not been able before this time to be satisfied with previous carpet companies. They specialize in stain master carpets and are certified with the licensing for my type of carpet. I bought expensive carpet and I am trying to keep it very clean by cleaning once a year. They did a terrific job and I would definitely use them again in a year. read more

Absolutely recommend!!!! We have a huge 14 x 14 very expensive ($8,000) shag rug that our three dogs had pretty much ruined. There were pee stains all over it and dog hair matted into it, and the scent of dog! We took it to a cleaner and got it back and the smell was still there. Not wanting to throw it out, our interior designer referred us to Mark. I dropped it off and somehow they worked their magic. I'm in disbelief still that they were able to get the stains and smell out, we unrolled the rug and sure enough, it is as good as new. We have gone to this place, which is near Crossroads school off Olympic, three times and every time we have been extremely happy. They are old school, very patient, perfectionist rug cleaning professionals. They have great integrity and they are nice. Mark has treated us well every time. This last time he was working on a Danish rya rug we brought in--very bright yellows and oranges--that was basically very dirty from many years of being walked on. it also needed repair along the edges. When I came to pick it up, Mark noticed something that wasn't to his standards and asked if he could keep it a bit longer. We picked it up yesterday and it looks fantastic. Brought in a very delicate white designer rug that had become grey with dirt, and due to the construction, it absolutely could not be machine cleaned. All 144 square feet had to be hand scrubbed. While it was not inexpensive, they were very upfront about the cost of the labor involved, and the work is amazing. It's like a brand new rug. The great thing about LA is all the vintage furniture you can find on the cheap. The bad thing about that is all of the DUST and DIRT that comes along with that old vintage furniture. Bought a vintage table and chairs set at the Melrose Flea. The chairs have removable cushions that had definitely seen way better days in terms of color and were packed with dust. It was gross. Per other Yelp reviews, I reached out to Mark and requested a quote. He got back to me within a few hours and I was so happy to be able to just drop off my items at his warehouse in SM instead of having to keep them in my apt a second longer. Made sure to confirm by calling before driving over, but was greeted promptly and by a friendly/helpful staff. They discussed what I was hoping to have accomplished with the cleaning and told me I could expect a call from them 2 weeks later. 2 weeks later exactly, I picked up my cushions and am super happy! I recently tried to clean a stain on a Persian rug.I did such a poor job, that it became 500% larger and became a rusty stain. Where do I start? We used Mark the first time and they did an amazing job but my boss wanted to go the second time with a company a little less pricey and we did.... The result...... HORRIBLE in the end we had to call mark in to clean up their job lol. Lesson learned! Not only do they do an amazing job but they have amazing customer service as well!!! The last time I had used them was for a move-out. I had overslept for our appointment and called them in a panic, the job had to be done that day. Poor customer service with a "you need us, more than we need you" attitude. Used them to clean 2 linen dining room chairs and it took them a month to clean them 2 chairs? They do not return calls and/or provide any updates. You have constantly call them and follow up. They did clean the chairs well, but basically made me feel stupid for purchasing linen chairs in the first place?!? I doubt I will use them again in the future b/c of their poor attitude towards their customers. Hours of operation are M-F from 9-3. So I had to take off work just drop off and pick up my chairs.
