However, unlike other companies that offer free estimates, I wasn't informed about the service fee beforehand, and it came as a surprise. That lack of transparency was frustrating. While I accept some responsibility for not asking, I believe upfront disclosure should be standard practice. *UPDATE After reading my review, Taylor Plumbing reached out to kindly explain their billing process. I was not overcharged. From what I understand, they use a flat fee for the first job and a lower additional fee for each job after that. They were professional and respectful in clearing things up. My only suggestion: take a moment to listen and make sure you understand the pricing policy before the work begins.
