There front desk manager Stephanie was amazing very professional professional very courteous very cheerful very helpful. Our realtor Erica was on the spot with everything. Contracts paperwork are all sent to the correct emails very easy to follow read and understand no hitting terms And we were able to do E signing with those contracts. One last thing there was some damages with the property. We are going to do a walk-through with the staff, and if there is any damages to the property maintenance? Will fix it immediately. I highly recommend northern pass properties for anybody looking for a home or apartment to rent.

She basically worked tirelessly, took care of, followed through in every details from the start to the finish of the transaction. She really put in 200% (that's how I felt) instead of just 100% of her effort throughout the whole transaction. She was very approachable, always stayed in the loop. She even tried to help me to contact the utility companies when I encountered difficulty in securing the service. She did really go above and above her duties. I will highly recommend her to anyone who are looking for a quality, top-notched realtor. She will be my next go to one for the next house.

After they took over my property, it took over a week before anything actually got done. It didn't feel like there was any urgency at all. The listing photos were also disappointing. They said they'd be professional, but they honestly looked like quick cell phone pictures with very little effort. The pricing advice was way off too. I was told I could easily get $1,900/month, but the house sat vacant for over three months. We kept lowering the rent week after week until it finally rented at $1,600, which cost me a lot of money in the meantime. There's also a $50/month fee that's supposed to be paid by the tenant for certain services. Instead, that ended up coming out of my part of the rent. When I talked to the tenants, they said those services (like regularly changing the AC filter) weren't even being done. Maintenance costs were another issue. Their in-house team quoted me $3,500 just to replace a ceiling fan. I ended up buying one myself for about $300 and paying someone $100 to install it. That pretty much says it all. The biggest problem, though, was how they handled communication with my tenants. When I told them I wasn't renewing my contract, they told the tenants I was moving back in and that they needed to vacate, which wasn't true. I got that cleared up and was told the tenants would renew. Then about a month later, they gave the tenants a notice to vacate again. When the tenants questioned it, they were told that they had contacted me and I had confirmed it, which didn't happen and I absolutely did not. I only found out after talking to the tenants directly, after the tenants refused to communicate any further with 5 Star and I was finally provided their contact info. At this point the tenants were already committed to moving. This will ultimately cost me thousands as my house will sit vacant until I can get another tenant. Overall, just a lot of miscommunication and very poor handling of most things. I wouldn't trust them to manage my property again.

Highly recommended…read more I basically stumbled across Yvonne online while house hunting. Lucky me. Before we met she provided me with MLS info based on my requirements. And before we met, I found the house I wanted just from the online info. It was New Year's Eve and she went to bat to get all the paperwork done that day. She found out someone else was making an offer on the house so she helped me with the offer details to ensure I'd be the winner. She's very responsive to random questions, important or trivial. One of the seller's requirements was a 30-day close. I didn't anticipate a problem because I was already pre-qualified by the mortgage company that I'd used before. Turns out they are so under-staffed they said they'd not be able to do anything in 30 days. Yvonne had a referral at hand - Cheryl Montenegro at Finance Home America - who made the deadline without any problem (or at least for me). Yvonne is also great on referrals for service suppliers. I'm fairly new in El Paso so her experienced advice is very useful.

I was dealing with a really difficult rental situation that had become personal, emotional, and exhausting. From the very beginning, Michael and Amberley were there for me in every way. They helped me clearly understand the escalation process and allowed me to move through it at my own pace, which made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. They were calm, clear, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout. What meant a lot to me was that they handled everything professionally and by the book. Having a portal, clear expectations, and then enforcing the lease has been a huge relief. I can finally breathe again. If you're a property owner who's overwhelmed or stuck in a situation that feels heavier than it should, I can't recommend this team enough. Sometimes you just need someone to take the wheel, and Michael and Amberley absolutely did that for me.

We worked with Michael when buying our home in El Paso in 2020 and later again when selling that same home a few years later. Unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. At the time we were relocating to El Paso due to a military PCS and were living out of state during the home search. We explained the type of house we were looking for -- specifically a four-bedroom home within a certain square footage range -- but many of the homes we were shown didn't match those criteria. Because of this, I ended up flying to Texas during COVID to look at houses myself while my husband had to remain at his duty station. During that visit, communication and coordination were difficult. On one occasion Michael arrived about 20 minutes late to a showing after I had already arrived, and another time he didn't show up to a property we planned to see until I reached out to ask where he was. Overall the process felt pretty disorganized, and as first-time homebuyers trying to manage everything from another state, it was stressful. When it came time to close on the house, Michael was not present, so I handled the closing on my own. We also weren't told ahead of time that we needed to activate utilities before moving in, so we arrived at our new home without water for the first couple of days. Three years later, when we decided to sell the home, we chose to work with Michael again hoping things might go more smoothly since he had more experience at that point. Unfortunately, communication was still minimal and we didn't receive much guidance about preparing or showcasing the home before listing. When the listing went live, the description used was the exact same one from when we originally purchased the house from the previous owners. After bringing it up, I ended up writing a new description myself and asking that it be added to the listing, which was eventually done. We did receive an offer and were able to sell the house, which we appreciated. However, just like the first time, Michael was not present at the closing when we signed the final documents. Afterward, I also noticed that Michael was listed as an administrator in several military spouse Facebook groups for different duty stations where he appeared to be promoting his services. That stood out to me given our experience working with him locally and the limited communication and involvement we experienced during both the purchase and sale. Overall, our experience involved very little communication and a lack of support during key parts of both transactions. Having now worked with another realtor who was extremely engaged, communicative, and helpful throughout the process, I can see how much smoother and more supportive a real estate experience can be -- especially for military families relocating from out of state.

For starters the condos are conveniently located on El Paso's West Side - close to pretty much every amenity you might need and just a 10 min drive to downtown. The condos sit right up next to the Franklin Mnts, with hiking trails practically right outside the front door. The unit was carefully stocked with all of the basics - including in unit laundry, just about every kitchen utensil you can imagine, and of course furniture, linens, etc. A desk and office in one of the bedrooms worked exceptionally well for me when working from home. The grounds are well maintained, well lit at night, and the folks I met who were permanent residents were overwhelmingly friendly and courteous. In addition to all of this there were several instances where I needed help from Bob or Carolyn - recommendations for certain things, or help letting family in the unit when they were visiting and I wasn't able to be there to meet them. Bob and/or Carolyn were always happy to assist if they were able. They were also always up for a friendly chat about salsa, local restaurants, tennis, or just about anything. I truly felt like we became friends during the short time I stayed at Camelot. I can't recommend these units enough for a short or medium term stay.
