Delicious Açaí bowl at Fielders Choice! The base of bowl was phenomenal and all of the fruit toppings were very fresh. Only complaint is that it was hard to eat! The spoons were very flimsy and it was almost impossible to get a bite before it melted a bit. I would suggest getting some high quality plastic spoons! Overall, place needed to be refreshed. This has become my favorite little quick breakfast place during Cardinals season. It's a cute baseball-themed spot conveniently tucked under One Cardinal Way right next to the stadium. I finally tried the Polo breakfast burrito after a few people recommended it, and it was a hit for me. Me gusta some spice in my burritos, and the jalapeños and avocado salsa in this one took it beyond your average joe. I also loved their egg, cheddar, and ham bagel. Super classic and piping hot. Their coffee is good in a pinch, not my favorite in the world. Just know if you stay too long you WILL leave smelling like a waffle (not sure that's a bad thing). read more

We decided to grab a quick meal on our way into the ballpark, and stepped in because this place seemed to have variety. Prices were reasonable. The food took a bit longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. We were impressed by the fresh ingredients in the salads. It's a great place to grab a bagels, breakfast sandwiches, snacks, or ice cream - better quality than you'd get inside the stadium and a calmer atmosphere (though still festive and baseball-themed). Poor service. We were the second people in the restaurant and nobody greeted us when we came in. Took the people 10-15 to take our order. Forgot half of the order and when they were handing out food to us they were pulling it away as we were reaching for it like it was some sort of joke. Food wasn't the best either. The "fresh" mini donuts tasted microwaved. Nice space though just poor customer service and just pure laziness of the staff. read more

Terrible and wouldn't recommend. Shitty food and service. Everything is microwaved. Nothing is fresh. The "hot and fresh" mini donuts are premade and microwaved. The employees did not greet or even acknowledge us when we walked in. Then took 10 mins to take our order. Was laughing and then when they finally got our food done after about 30 mins they forgot a burrito and laughed about that too. Very odd experience. Not to mention it was empty on a Saturday morning. Biscuits and gravy was lukewarm. Waffles are just toasted in the toaster like eggo waffles. Coffee and lotus isn't good either read more

Always a great experience! I've been here 20+ times and find something new each time. I love the iced s'mores latte, anything on a bagel, and their chocolate chip cookies!!! Today it was suggested to do the Times Square on a cinnamon raisin bagel . Suggestions & service are on point. I've never encountered anything but friendliness here. Conveniently located right next to Condado Tacos! It's hard to miss! There are massive TV screens so you can read the menu super easy. Just a short walk from my hotel Loews. This was the only place that had any kind of breakfast that was not in a hotel. It was 5 degrees outside but well worth the walk. I had an everything bagel sandwich with bacon ham and egg and it way excellent, pleasantly surprised. read more

This restaurant is located in ballpark village and is 2 seconds from where the Cardinals play. It is a bright, clean restaurant with a handful of tables and bean bag chairs. On the day we visited for breakfast they were out of many items and ingredients. The food we did have, açaí bowls, bagels, coffee, yogurt parfait, and an egg sandwich were all yummy with large filling portions. The servers were friendly and patient with our order... it changed Many times due to out of stock items. a restaurant has no business selling smoothies and acai bowls if there is no fresh fruit in them. it was disgusting. the acai bowl tasted like chemicals, the smoothie tasted like straight sugar with no fruit in it. coffee was also nasty. we literally threw everything in the trash. i am usually not this harsh in reviews -- but damn, it was bad. read more

When it comes to sandwiches, my usual go-to is the California, which comes with your choice of bread(get it on the Hawaiian- TRUST ME), avocado, egg, cheddar cheese and bacon. I gave up pork a while ago, so I get mine without. As for the bowls, I sort of create my own. I get the sandwich version of the California but I add spinach. They're both so good. I've tried their soup and salad combo, which doesn't disappoint either! No matter what the day is, I've never had to wait for a long time. I certainly appreciate them being so thorough and efficient with the orders and timeliness. The place is quite large and there's ample seating, which makes a difference since we're in the post Covid era. If you're looking to try some place new, don't walk, RUN! This place is legit!

I was able to get off drugs and reconnect with my family as the result of eating a burrito. You can imagine my excitement, then, when it was announced that a group I run with was meeting at this Tower Grove South location. I wasn't crazy about getting up early the day after America's 250th birthday, and there was the slight possibility that I'd barf during my run around Tower Grove Park (people might think I was back on drugs), but I was willing to risk it for the, erm, burrito. Actually, it occurred to me that I might try something else, for the sake of citizen food journalism. Then my decision was made for me when I saw that they carry a bagel with lox. I've eaten literally a million bagels with lox, going back to the 1980s, but only either at home or at places that aren't very good, like Einstein Bros. Alas, I was informed that the bagel with lox was currently unavailable, because they were out of lox. Which struck me as odd, given that lox is not served fresh. It's not like they had to go pull it out of the water that morning or have it flown in from Alaska, packed in ice. Was there a run on the lox due to a nearby media-industry convention? Did they accidentally leave it sitting out overnight? I imagine that would smell crazy. I went with the Everything, which may have been the better choice anyway. Named after the famous bagel seasoning, it's essentially a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel with cream cheese and a tomato. But describing it that way doesn't really do it justice. You have to attempt to wrap your lips around it in order to truly appreciate it. No Diddy. It's the bagel-sandwich equivalent of their legendary burrito, and it might be just as good. The bacon and egg are perfectly cooked, with the egg just slightly underdone and the bacon nice and crisp but still with a little bit of chew. The helping of cream cheese is weirdly generous, to the point where just the cream cheese on a bagel would be a fairly substantial sandwich. The tomato, which was a little bit tart, made for a nice accent. It comes wrapped in one of those diapers they used to use on some of the bigger burgers at Hardee's, to keep it from falling apart the moment you try to bite into it. You'd still eat all the individual elements using your fingers, because you're a savage and because they're that good, but it wouldn't be the same. It's a testament to the thoughtfulness and the ingenuity of the kitchen staff at Upshot that they thought to do that.
