We stopped by Fiesta Burrito for a quick dinner after running some errands. We were starving and ended up choosing this spot because we haven't tried it before. It looked like a local, family-owned spot so we went on in. It's fast casual where you order at the counter. They have a really extensive menu, with special items on certain days or weekends. The item that caught my eye was "Giant Quesadilla" and I ordered mine with steak. My husband ordered a burrito, which didn't have giant in the menu name, but was giant in nature. This was perfect for us, because we were ready to dig in. Since we were dining in, we got complimentary chips and salsa, and everything was brought to our table. It's a no frills place, tons of open space in the restaurant, lots of take-out orders, and less folks dining in. Come here for a filling, cozy Mexican food. I keep going back to see if the quality gets better. I use to go here often and now if lucky once every two months. My normal is a steak burrito. When there burritos are loaded with grease that causes them to fall apart and make a mess when eating. They are never wrapped tight. It's just not enjoyable. First time here. Place is immaculate! Young lady at the counter who took our order was very sweet! Food came out fast (less than five minutes), and was nice and hot. We ordered baby burritos, which were huge! I can't imagine anyone needing a bigger one. My husband had steak, and said it was tender and tasty. I had beef, which was very flavorful. Lots of Mexican seasonings. Tons of beef! I ordered mine as a Fiesta special, so it came with rice and refried beans, as well as a soft drink. So much food for $9.99 (vs $8.49 for the baby burrito itself). Food is brought to your table, along with hot and mild sauces. My only complaint is my pants are now too tight...because I kept eating after I was full because it was so good. read more

We had fiesta burrito for the first time tonight to try something different. Sadly, the food was flavorless, and we honestly just did not even eat it after a few bites. We had the cheese, enchilada, dinner, nachos, french fries, and street corn. The french fries were literally soggy with no flavor. But these had to be the worst excuse of a tamale I've ever had. No sauce on the meat. The Masa was drier than whore after a long days work. So just to be fair, we moved from California where an authentic Mexican taqueria was on every corner... the "flautas" which were really taquitos, were pretty good. When I asked what's in the California burrito, as soon as he said French fries, ai said stop. We ordered the chicken flautas and a steak burrito. The "flautas" were pretty good. Absolutely delicious. The giant steak burrito is great, and as the name implies- giant. Pair it with the tomatillo sauce for a total winner.

Confession: I did not consult Yelp before ordering food from Fiesta Burrito. ::: pause for shocked reaction ::: It's true. I was staying at my parents house for a couple days and we all had a taste for tacos. I (for once) did not take the lead on our food search. My mom started by searching online for some taco specials, but we were all getting hungry so we honestly just went with something that was simple and nearby! Insert: Fiesta Burrito. I enjoyed a pastor sope which included marinated pork with cilantro, onion, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream ($3.49), a barbacoa taco including shredded marinated beef with cilantro and onion ($2.15), and a side of beans which are refried with melted cheese on top ($2.10). The barbacoa taco and beans were very good! A side order of beans is perfect for 2-3 people. I honestly should have just gotten 2 or 3 tacos instead of the sope. These tacos are definitely authentic and remind me of street tacos. I'd say 2 tacos for me with a side of beans and chips and salsa (from home) would be plenty of food, or 3 tacos on their own (just so you can get an idea of portion sizes). The pastor sope was honestly not that great. If you're unfamiliar with sopes, they are basically a thick tortilla like breading with beans, meat, veggies, and other toppings. Almost like a small personalized Mexican pizza. I didn't think the pastor had much flavor and everything else seemed to be overpowered by the beans and tortilla itself, so kind of bland. It's also very hard to eat. I would definitely eat at Fiesta Burrito again though. Their tacos are delicious (my sister's quesadilla looked great as well), and you honestly can't beat the price. Plus, they have a large menu so there is plenty of other items for me to try! Pro tip: They offer a catering menu for $8.99 a person (minimum of 15 people). read more

These places are all over the 'burbs, and my bf and I decided to go for a burrito one day. Wish we hadn't! I got the baby burrito with barbacoa, which was still plenty big, but the meat and cheese together must have formed a pool of grease inside the tortilla that kept seeping out one end in an evil orange stream. i'l blot it up and more would come. And more. And more. what is this doing to you when you eat it?? I got about 2/3 through before i started to feel sick (and everything was starting to get gluey anyway). Bad, bad, bad. Their horchata was quite tasty, and I ate some of my bf's rice (he had enchiladas, which he said were okay), but I don't think I could eat here again. I actually loved them when they were across the street. The new location always seemed to be lacking a little bit of the magic. We order from here on occasion, solely because it's 5 mins away. My husband always gets the steak taco dinner and always says, "yeah it's oh-kay". I think the tortillas kinda suck. I usually order the Chorizo burrito, customized. It's always wrong. I called them up, took pics of the burrito and they told me to bring back the food. I feel weird giving a fast food, late night, suburban Mexican joint 5 stars but gosh darn it, they f*cking earned it. I got a veggie taco with avocado (my only regret is only ordering one) and the baby burrito with Mexican potatoes... which are just regular roasted potatoes but in a burrito. It was good, but next time I'm going to stick with straight rice and avocado. The Spanish rice was delish, the salsa was fantasmo, and the guy at the counter earned extra points with me because he said I looked like Jean Grey from X-Men... you know, The Phoenix. Sooo... I got the huevos con chorizo (self-explanatory) and my boyfriend got the huevos a la mexicana: scrambled eggs with tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeños, and onion. Both were delicious, and served with rice, beans, and tortillas. Wash it down with a cup of horchata, and you're good to go. I've had tortas, tacos, and nachos and everything is pretty good. AND...if you've been drinking, everything gets upgraded to tasting awesome! Another big plus is that they serve Diet Pepsi in styrofoam cups. For some reason, this is the most delicious fountain drink combination in the world. And they have the little quarter vending machines, which will keep the kids happy. They used to sell Homies there (remember those little collectible figs?), but they are long gone.
