It's not the absolute best Mexican you will ever have, but it is consistently very good and fresh and big portion sizes, value is even better if you go during lunch hours. Beware, this place charges a dollar if you ask for hot sauce, another dollar if you ask for refill of tortilla chips, and another dollar charge for every take-out ltem. I'm sad to leave this review, but I'm still pretty grossed out by the quality of the meat in the steak burrito. I've been ordering these at this location for years, however, I have ordered my last one. The quality of the meat is unacceptable. If I return, I will only be ordering vegetarian. My burrito didn't taste as good as usual. There were large chewy bits I had to spit into a napkin. Then, a lot of the steak was in big clumps and I started to notice what appeared to be arteries or vessels in the meat. Of course, they were chopped up since it was meat for a burrito. I've never in my life seen this before. I had to google it. Now I'm horrified. The quality of the meat is just too low for me. The pina colada I ordered tasted strange as well. MASSIVE service drop in recent years. I can understand issues during a busy period, but the last visit drug out what should have been a 1.5 hour visit to a 2.5 hour visit due to hideously slow service. Drinks, order taking, food arrival, and even bill arrival seemmed to take double the amount of time than normal with a party of 7. Never a good sign if you have to constantly flag down your server over these elements. My previous commentary on the food still remain true. Food is legitimately decent, but will not blow you out of the water. Atmosphere remains consistent as well. The experience slipping had been a gradual thing over the last couple of years, but the most recent visit was the last straw. The old coworker group has effectively eliminated Fiesta from the reunion get togethers, and I can't blame them. Bottom Line: There is WAY too much competition locally to be this lack luster. Too many other places will do it better. Will consider giving the place another chance (and an update) should fate allow. read more

When she came back to take my order I asked if i could have dome salsa ... she didn't realize she had not brought any. I think that's the last time i saw her. They brought the food and a beer, both were good. Somebody stopped by twice later and asked how the food was, and later asked if i wanted another beer. No. I finished eating and began a long wait. The restaurant had mostly cleared out but it was only about 8 pm so not near closing time. And i waited. Servers went by a couple of times but no contact. And i waited. I had pushed my plate off to the side, it was clear i was finished. And i waited, no contact. Finally after about 15 min a server brought a glass of water and a straw. Really? Why? This is one time too many and something needs to be said. The last few times I have ordered from here my order has been incorrect. Tonight I ordered SHREDDED chicken tacos with cilantro and onion but was delivered chicken tacos with lettuce and cheese. The chicken is not shredded at all....its HUGE chunks. I used to love Fiesta Cancun. It's been awhile since I've been there and I feel like it's changed a bit. First of all, it used to be primarily male waiters. They were fast and efficient. Today our waitress seemed distracted and preoccupied. The chips and salsa used to be a lot better. The salsa recipe changed for sure, to sweet. The chips were always unpredictable. We ordered the Fiesta Cancun special which had shrimp, chorizo, steak and chicken, rice and beans. My daughter and I shared it. We took a box with leftovers home. Very disappointed in the service I received tonight. Before going to the restaurant I surfed over to ContinentalCoupons.com and printed off a 15% Off entire bill (with purchase of two drinks) coupon. After our meal I presented the coupon to the cashier at the front and he immediately told me they would not accept the coupon because it was printed out. I told him that of course it was printed out because that's how you do it from a website (surmising that because he was an older gentleman he didn't understand). He insisted they weren't going to accept it but then spoke in Spanish to a lady who must be in charge. She concurred that they would not accept it. I pulled out my phone and went to the website and showed her the coupon. [Note: this coupon (or a variation thereof) has been on this website for many years]. She became very curt with me. She insisted that the only coupon they offer comes in a booklet. I again referred her to the website and she acknowledged that she worked with the man who runs that site. What was so baffling to me (which I communicated with her) is why she would care where the coupon came from if it incentivized me into the restaurant tonight as a patron. She immediately runs to the sink and pukes her food up. I'm sorry but that has got to be the most disgusting thing I've witnessed ever. Went there couple days ago, ordered chicken chimichanga plate. They brought me a beef. Well ok I ate it anyway. But the menu says it comes with guacamole salad. No guacamole on the lettuce. I told the waiter. He said we don't put it on the lettuce anymore. I said but it says right there on your menu it comes with guacamole salad. So he relented and brought me a little cup of it. My husband's fajitas had like one little piece of green pepper and some onions mostly. What happened to the green peppers on the fajitas?? Went on a wed night with a gf! I ordered the fajitas burritos and I wanted one chx and one steak the waiter said he couldn't do that bc it takes to long I was confused and he said I could order mixed I said sure but in the past I have order one of each before! Awesome nachos! Always ask for extra chorizo. Their shrimp fajitas are really good too. The drinks are hit and miss, sometimes the soda is a little flat. The margaritas are good when they're good but bleh when they're not. Sometimes they sugar the rim and sometimes it's salt. Their fried ice cream is delicious too but I have nothing to compare it too since I've never had fried ice cream anywhere else. Decently priced for the amount of food you get. The food is good and I honestly got excited because I don't live by too many Mexican restaurants but my very first experience with them went down the hole! I ordered thru DoorDash and my order came out to $70!!! I was super mad but i didn't feel good and wasn't wanting to go drive to get food: so I paid it and ended up getting two out of the 3 kids meals I ordered and none of my meal I ordered at all which included sides and a drink. I called and the restaurant blamed door dash and DoorDash blamed the restaurant and basically I was screwed outta around $55 dollars! That is horrible! The waitstaff acted like they could have cared less if we were there or not. Walked in and 2 of the employees were on their cell phones texting. I skipped dinner at work and decided to stop by Fiesta Cancun on the way home. I notice they are usually busy, so I took that for a good sign. This night I arrived fairly late, closing in 30 mins. If I had known, I would of went another night. The Service: I was seated promptly and the host was friendly. He got our drink order and brought out the house salsa and chips. The waiter let us know that the kitchen was closing very soon and he would be right back to let them know they had another order. Which made us feel a little rushed, but happy that we didnt get turned away. The server checked in w/ us many times to make sure we were happy. 5stars The Food: I ordered the carne asada tacos and a chicken enchalda. The tacos were great. Our server was really good. We arrived in the late p.m. and we were immediately welcomed and immediately shown a seat. After perusing the menu for a few minutes we made our dinner decisions and we were brought ice water and extra beverages of our choice food came quickly and was piping hot. Our choices were Beyond expectations and we're larger-than-expected. Also it as soon as we arrived we were given salsa and chips appetizers. Up to this point everything was great. We took pictures, the place is quite nice and laughed and had a great time. Suddenly things took kind of a turn. Our server showed up and asked if we would mind paying before we were done. He was very apologetic. Apparently the boss wanted to come out the register and we were one of the last people sitting in his place. Server apologized several times and I didn't have a real issue and it him the money and he came back and apologize One More Time. He did say to us: " please enjoy your food, there is no rush and he apologized one more time and thanked us. We ate a few more bites and being completely stuff asked for boxes. As we were loading the boxes for carryout an older man walked over and in a very Stern voice said something to the effect of we are closing you must go. And then stomped off. I was totally shocked according to our watches we still had 15 minutes to closing time. But we are done, so we put a food boxes in our plastic bags I did give the server a tip because he was wonderful. As we picked up our bags all the lights in the building or shut off and we made our way to the door as we walk to the car the parking lot lights were shut off. Is a case of the worst customer service I have ever had. Rude and uncaring. Quite honestly their food looks like something off of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, but looks can be deceiving. I love me some tamales, and they deliver with authentic food.
