    Chipotle Burrito
    Anna D.

I ordered Chipotle Chicken and the server gave me the Chipotle Burrito, when I questioned him he said I ordered the burrito and wouldn't change it. The burrito was okay. My boyfriend got a chalupa meal and said it was not good at all. The salsa was good but that was the only good thing about the experience. Sadly probably won't go back.

Sadly, even though the waitress was great, we came to eat outside and cleaned our table, chairs and menus with Clorox wipes & wore masks. They watched us taking extreme precautions to not catch Covid. Our food was brought out by a man with his mask under his chin while he was talking on his phone. When I told him to put his mask on he would only cover his mouth and refused to cover his nose. I walked out leaving my food on the table. Sorry, don't want your funk on my food when I've made it this long not catching this crap! I felt totally disrespected and felt if he would violate this sanitation law and not respect customers, what other food handling rules does he not mind breaking?!?!?

    Chimi-Fried Burrito

The service was good and the food was just as good. The server brought out chips and salsa right away and our food didn't take long to come out. It's also a really good value: lunch and a soda for 2 people came out to about $10.50 per person! You could reasonably get a filling lunch for less than $10. It's a big hit all around. I had the fried chimi burrito with beef and I loved it but it was almost too big to finish, and my partner loved the steak and cheese burrito.

They also have so many different combinations you can come up with for your biscuit. I also started following them on an Instagram they just made and they also have French toast and pancakes. That's on our list next time. This place is so awesome. It's only a drive-through and the service is so quick. It's a small little Mom pop shop that you could get quality biscuits.

These are not your typical light and fluffy buttermilk biscuits. No, these biscuits are thick and dense, but in the BEST way. And they are HUGE!!! I was STUFFED! This place is a true gem and a definite must try! While it may not look nice and fancy on the outside, don't let that fool you! The staff are some of the nicest, sweetest, hospitable people you'll ever meet! And you know a place is good when the line is literally down the street! Seriously! It moved so fast though! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Wilson! FYI - this place is cash only! No cards accepted.

I've attached a photo of the menu; the offerings are okay -- not bad. I got the build-your-omelet with bacon, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. I asked for a side of sour cream, but got an excuse that they didn't have any because they apparently are "usually out of that by Sundays." To be fair, that isn't the server's fault but more of a reflection on the establishment overall. If you're gonna serve brunch, then you need to order your supplies and keep them stocked like you do that bar (which is extremely well stocked). The morning brunch service was a bit slow; and when my omelet came, it was ... what shall we say ... anemic? It was the smallest in size and flattest/skinniest omelet I think I've ever had anywhere. Let's put it this way: I was still hungry when we left. Orange juice was good; I wouldn't get the coffee again. When our server finally came to our table to check us out, she didn't know how to use the restaurant's own coupon to deduct it from our bill. My sister can save the coupon for later, but ... really? This joint is in a nice spot of downtown Wilson, within walking distance of the new baseball park and other restaurants and bars. It's one of several places that you could "bar hop" on a Friday or Saturday night with friends. That may be a different experience -- but R&R's brunch has some work to do.

My grandparents frequent this place every weekend so we had to check it out. I ordered a few donuts, the chocolate covered cream puff they call it. It had chocolate glaze and a sort of fluffy buttercream inside. It was a little too sweet for my taste, but it was tasty. My favorite was the strawberry jelly that only had powdered sugar on top because a doughnut is so nice and fluffy with the homemade strawberry jelly and not too much sugary glaze on top. But I highly recommend getting the little donut holes that have the blueberry mixture in it. That was the The Best doughnut they have in my opinion. For fall, they had cute little pumpkin shaped cinnamon sugar donuts. The menu includes classics--along with a few Southern staples that were brand-new to us as New Yorkers, like "backbone and chew bread." We didn't try it this time, but based on the crowd, I'm sure it's delicious! I ordered fried eggs, bacon, and grits, while my husband went for fried eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Everything was cooked just right, simple and satisfying, but what truly made the meal memorable was the warmth and hospitality.
