    Lemon poppyseed muffin

While visiting family and Wilson, we found this cute coffee shop to go have a quick little brunch with my sister. It's really nice inside there. There's lots of seating for a big friend group. My favorite part is all of the beautiful plants they have inside. We first ordered the chicken salad wrap, and the egg and cheese croissant. Both were very good, but not for the Price. The portion was really small. We also ordered two muffins, the blueberry and the lemon poppyseed. Sadly, they were not that great. They were just a little dry. But it could've been a bad batch that day. We also ordered two cappuccinos. The flavor was good, but the mixture of pumpkin spice syrup they make homemade wasn't mixed in and so once I got to the bottom of my coffee, it was pure syrup. Thankfully, the barista was super kind and she was able to remake the pumpkin spice cappuccino for me. This place has such wonderful potential to be a fabulous brunch spot. There's always little things that can be improved. But I highly recommend going in and saying hi and enjoying the ambience of downtown Wilson.

This cute little breakfast/brunch spot is conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel, The Harriss, in Wilson, NC. To-go Order: avocado toast and chocolate chip cookie Loved the presentation and that they used fresh ingredients. The toast was crispy/crunchy which balanced the creaminess of the avocado. The radish and cherry tomatoes added brightness and freshness. It would have been perfect if they went lighter on the everything bagel seasoning. It was a little salty.

I got the salted brown sugar chocolate chip cookie and it was amazing! So and not overly sweet. I also enjoyed a strawberry latte that was delicious! The employees were helpful and welcoming.

What an amazing place to enjoy some good coffee, clean environment, and food. We arrived with fairly close to the time they opened up on Sunday. One thing to note, the hours posted on Yelp were different than that on the store front - they are actually open on Sunday (I submitted an update to the hours here). As soon as we entered and were at the front counter, we were greeted with a large smile and joyful attitude. All staff members were helpful, friendly, and just a joy to be around. The location has a patio for eating as well. Parking looks to be good on a good day, but not sure if its really busy how it will workout. Now, for the important part - the food. The FOOD. A++++++ Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. We decided on: Sugar Free Vanilla Latte Swirlings flavored Drip Coffee Blueberry pancakes Breakfast platter with sausage The coffees were very tasty! With their homemade flavorings it paired nicely with the coffee beans brewed for the drinks. I really enjoyed the Sugar Free syrup and will be using that in any coffees I get going forward from there! The pancakes were just the right thickness with the perfect amount of blueberries per pancake. You didn't feel like you were just eating dry unflavored pancakes at all! They were soft and buttery - good choice! The platter was another good one as well. There was plenty of food on the platter to enjoy by two people. The eggs were seasoned well and complimented the hash browns. The start of the plate were the sausage and the jam. LORDT! It felt like someone just patted it out right before we ordered our meal. We will be back to try other goodies :)

My grandparents frequent this place every weekend so we had to check it out. I ordered a few donuts, the chocolate covered cream puff they call it. It had chocolate glaze and a sort of fluffy buttercream inside. It was a little too sweet for my taste, but it was tasty. My favorite was the strawberry jelly that only had powdered sugar on top because a doughnut is so nice and fluffy with the homemade strawberry jelly and not too much sugary glaze on top. But I highly recommend getting the little donut holes that have the blueberry mixture in it. That was the The Best doughnut they have in my opinion. For fall, they had cute little pumpkin shaped cinnamon sugar donuts. For breakfast, we ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant because they were out of biscuits, but I hope to try those another time. My husband also ordered a biscuit with fried steak. And it was very fresh and made to order. But it definitely needed some sauce or ketchup or something to help with the flavor. Everything was such a quick service and got all of our food to go. The best part is the prices of this place is very good and you could feed your family of 4 for under $30.

Strawberry puff, excellent strawberry jelly, excellent dough - Powered sugar was just crisp enough, shaken when still hot - well done. Cinnamon roll - delicious, be warned, it's giant. They have a full grill also, and the full menu is available all day. We grabbed a couple chicken biscuits for a later lunch. Biscuits, fluffy, chicken juicy and well seasoned. About 15, 20 min from the interstate - well worth it. Some parking in front. They also have a drive thru.

Every time we visit our family in North Carolina, we have to stop here to have breakfast. I always get a bacon egg and cheese. They also have so many different combinations you can come up with for your biscuit. I also started following them on an Instagram they just made and they also have French toast and pancakes. That's on our list next time. This place is so awesome. It's only a drive-through and the service is so quick. It's a small little Mom pop shop that you could get quality biscuits.

These are not your typical light and fluffy buttermilk biscuits. No, these biscuits are thick and dense, but in the BEST way. And they are HUGE!!! I ate off of my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit all day long - literally. It took me that long to eat the entire thing. I don't know how people go here and order more than one item with a biscuit. I was STUFFED! This place is a true gem and a definite must try! While it may not look nice and fancy on the outside, don't let that fool you! The staff are some of the nicest, sweetest, hospitable people you'll ever meet! And you know a place is good when the line is literally down the street! Seriously! It moved so fast though! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Wilson! FYI - this place is cash only! No cards accepted.
