Loooove the cheesy biscuits!! Great food and service! Comfortable atmosphere and plenty of parking. We've never had to wait long to find a seat.

Best cheese stuffed biscuits EVER! Hands down they even beat Abrams cheese biscuit. It's chock full of cheese and the biscuit is flavorful and moist.

    Stacker & Pancake

This is real southern cooking and homemade food. Real scratch made biscuits that are NOT dry and some handmade sausage patties, this is the place to go. My go-to from here is the 'Stacker'. It's an open face biscuit topped with overeasy eggs, 2 sausage patties and some delicious sausage gravy and a side of home fries. The pancakes here are pretty damn good too. It's a little over an hour away from me but it's still my favorite breakfast restaurant to go to. 10/10 would recommend!!

Great prices and fast service. Food smells amazing as soon as you walk in the door! It's a "seat yourself" place, which is just fine with us!

They also have so many different combinations you can come up with for your biscuit. I also started following them on an Instagram they just made and they also have French toast and pancakes. That's on our list next time. This place is so awesome. It's only a drive-through and the service is so quick. It's a small little Mom pop shop that you could get quality biscuits.

These are not your typical light and fluffy buttermilk biscuits. No, these biscuits are thick and dense, but in the BEST way. And they are HUGE!!! The staff are some of the nicest, sweetest, hospitable people you'll ever meet! And you know a place is good when the line is literally down the street! Seriously! It moved so fast though! I've attached a photo of the menu; the offerings are okay -- not bad. I got the build-your-omelet with bacon, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. I asked for a side of sour cream, but got an excuse that they didn't have any because they apparently are "usually out of that by Sundays." To be fair, that isn't the server's fault but more of a reflection on the establishment overall. If you're gonna serve brunch, then you need to order your supplies and keep them stocked like you do that bar (which is extremely well stocked). The morning brunch service was a bit slow; and when my omelet came, it was ... what shall we say ... anemic? It was the smallest in size and flattest/skinniest omelet I think I've ever had anywhere. Let's put it this way: I was still hungry when we left. Orange juice was good; I wouldn't get the coffee again. When our server finally came to our table to check us out, she didn't know how to use the restaurant's own coupon to deduct it from our bill. My sister can save the coupon for later, but ... really? This joint is in a nice spot of downtown Wilson, within walking distance of the new baseball park and other restaurants and bars. It's one of several places that you could "bar hop" on a Friday or Saturday night with friends. That may be a different experience -- but R&R's brunch has some work to do.

It was a special cake for my niece's graduation, so it was important to have for our family celebration. This could have been a sad story, but FATD staff went above and beyond to make their error right. All of the staff, esp the Sunday morning manager (who I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) were so great and made sure that I left with a comparable cake to serve at our graduation party. Above and beyond customer service--there's no other way to describe it. I was already a fan but today they earned my family's business for life. (Their desserts are damn delicious to boot!)

This is your typical independent roadside joint that was popular back in the 1950's but have now managed to die out in most parts of the country. There is ample parking out front, and the area you order from (pictured) is inside a set of double doors. There are places to sit, including a cool old school rocking chair, while you wait for your food to come out. All items are made to order here, so you will have to wait a bit but it is worth the wait. For breakfast my favorite is the wagon train sandwich. This is double bacon, fried egg, and pimento spread on a Kaiser roll. Killer flavor combo and be sure to get a side order of hash browns extra crispy to go along with it. The homemade biscuits here are similarly a must try. This place closes at 2 each day, so keep this in mind if you are after some lunch. The Big Ben burger is essentially a homemade bacon double cheese burger topped with their house made chili. Yum. It's a winner. They also have daily specials which you will find on a dry erase board inside where you order. This is mainly a take out joint, but they have an outdoor picnic area which makes for a great place to post up on nice days. Staff is super friendly and prices are cheap. I am sure I will be back next time I am in town.
