Five stars for Fiesta Fresh! The service is quick. The staff is friendly. The restaurant was spotless. I ordered two hard beef tacos, a steak soft taco and their house mango drink. Everything was delicious! I love that their hard taco shells are made in-house and fresh. They are so crispy, warm and yummy. The steak tacos had chunks of steak - also delicious. The mango drink is refreshing and full of flavor, but not overpowering. I got a large and would drink a gallon of it, lol! Food to me is very subpar. I don't see myself coming back. The meat is tough, the queso tastes like it's from the store, and everything just tastes bland to me. I do like the cold bar where you can get all your toppings like pico, limes, cilantro, etc and can put as much as you want or if you're togo you can put them in containers to go. Fiesta Fresh? No. More like siesta expired. They take Mexican out of Mexican food. Clearly people don't know good food because this was disgusting. While the tacos were generously sized, they lost the touch of flavor. Wasted my money, my time, and my appetite. The chicken looked and tasted like microwaved ham that was 10 years old. We drove out to Bluffton to look at a new car. The car didn't workout but we quickly realized it was past lunch and we all (husband, toddler and myself) needed to eat! I remembered this place from living on Hilton Head Island, so quickly decided that's where we would go! Once inside, there weren't many tables available, (only due to COVID) because every other was x'd off, but the turnover is fairly fast and honestly by the time we ordered, and the food was ready, I was already setting our son up at our table. We bring our own seat for him for now, and my husband grabbed out food. I ordered something I used to alllll the time, the steak salad served in a taco bowl and it comes with this creamy cilantro dressing that I could pour on everything. My husband got the steak fajitas and we got the complimentary two little things of chips and salsa. One thing I surely missed was their salsa bar. I'm usually one that piles a ton of that stuff on but due to COVID, they clearly couldn't have that there. And who knows it may be the end of stuff like that all together now?! I'm sure I could have asked for some/all of the things but I just sat and enjoyed it just the way it was. Their taco shells for the salads are unlike anywhere else. And their chips too! I've ordered a few items, but typically I get an order of nachos with ground beef, and all the standard add ins, and Guac is included at no extra charge. Always taste fresh as the name suggest, typically fairly quick, always friendly and very generous with their servings. Every time I visit, I am sure to order the chicken taco salad bowl and it is truly exceptional each and every time. The bowl is made with the freshest ingredients and the chicken is cooked to perfection. The dressing is packed with amazing flavor and the greens are just wonderful. The service here is always outstanding and wait times are extremely minimal. My only complaint is that the size of chips that comes with your order has gotten smaller over the years to the point that you have to ask for chip refills over and over again in order to get a normal size side of chips. I miss having my chicken flautas once a week! For $6.50, you get two large pieces of a rolled flour tortilla, gently fried, and stuffed chock full of well seasoned shredded chicken. So many other Mexican restaurants serve these so tightly rolled that they leave no room for a filling. The flautas are then topped with loads of lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, onions, and guacamole. Add some of their excellent spicy red salsa and their medium tomatillo one, and you have a one heck of a flavor bomb that satisfies all your tastebuds. Do not order the milanesa de carne ! Terrible food it definitely was fried in old oil I could taste the fish that was most likely fried before my steak . This place is the answer to my prayers! I've driven by it many times, thinking it was your average Mexican restaurant. Well today, I drove by a little slower and noticed the interior appeared more like fast food. I parked, and walked inside to discover-yes! There is a menu on the wall and you order at a counter! My heart sung with delight. I've always dreamt I would find a fast food Mexican joint to enjoy over my lunch breaks, and that day has come. This is more of a "fast casual" style place than sit down. The portions are not crazy, but they are generous. There is Horchata, tacos, burritos, and plates with carnitas, camarones a la diabla, chili relleno, etc. Their plates are good, and the staples are also tasty. I like their camarones a la diabla more than any other place I've tried in the area, although the portion is just a little small. You also get a small basket of chips with each order, and the salsa bar is great. It's not the best salsa, Mexican, or anything else you are likely to have, but it is solid and consistent.
