Went to the outlets in Johnson Creek and was starving/craving Mexican food. About a mile away was this restaurant. Their menu had so many options. The enchiladas mole poblano were delicious. They have a good selection of margaritas shown as frozen. I did mine on the rocks. They were good. The service was very friendly and attentive. It was quiet when we got there but the rush came as we were finishing up. Lots of space for groups and families and everything in between. read more

I ordered food here one night to get me through a weekend at the hotel across the road. Ordered at 5:40, by 7:15 I called to find out what was going on with the order. The driver didn't follow the instructions or address about delivering to my hotel room. The restaurant was helpful in telling me she left the order in "the ballroom" about 20 minutes prior. The hotel found the order, no marking with my name or room, so that was confusing. The actual food itself is pretty good. Authentic and delicious Mexican food is hard to find in Wisconsin, and this place is actually good for being in the middle of the state/sort of nowhere! The food was generally fresh and I thought the steak was cooked perfectly. The guacamole was delicious and the chips were good (not too greasy). read more

Won't tell ya wrong...this is the best Mexican food within a few hundred miles at least, if you like seafood and service and margaritas and all the great sides... If you live within 50 miles, get here. If further, make the pilgrimage! Friendly staff. Hannah is outstanding! Nice ambiance - very bright and colorful. Great margaritas. And the food is the main attraction. Great salsas and guacamole - fresh and light and flavorful. Queso blanco has a nice bit of pepper chopped in. Soooo good. The seafood is amazing. Can here on our first night out going somewhere where we can sit down and have a meal while newborn sleeps here. Got a margarita which was small in comparison to other Mexican restaurants. The flavor wasn't bad. The chips were hot the salsa was okay. Ordered what I though would Be a decent meal. The wife ordered tamales. I got some steak enchiladas. When we got our plates the tamales didn't look quite right. My dinner tasted a bit strange( to put it politely) will not be back ate 2 bites and paid for our dinner and left. As far as Mexican food restaurants this is a cut above basic Mexican food. Varied menu and very large restaurant with lots of seating. No reservations needed Great for large groups. I had a trio platter with a taco, tamale and a Chile relleno. Generous serving. I had the beef tongue taco. Can't find this at many restaurants. Tasty. The tamale was average and the Chile relleno was good. Lots of drinks available which seemed to be the draw for many at the restaurant. Service was average but friendly. One of our party had mole poblano. It was nice but bit mild for our tastes. Since they have a large menu, I'll stop by again and give them another try. I'll edit my review if necessary. read more

It's such a delight to go back to enjoy this colorful, beautiful and inviting restaurant after 5 years of living away from the area. Don't let the simple exterior fool you. The decor & interior walls have beautiful & scenic murals that take you to Mexico as you dine. The friendly, great service and delicious food continue! They serve the best and perfectly (crispy and but not dry) fried whole tilapia with seasoned garlic. The seafood offerings are very extensive, including fresh oysters, crab legs, etc. Yummy seafood ceviche. The ox tongue (lengua) with salsa verde is very flavorful. Fresh, hot sauce dips for corn chips are truly hot & spicy. The margaritas complement the meal well. I need to resume dining here, despite the distance from home. It's a good stop for the movie theater or the shopping outlet or as we did, after a trail hike. read more

I was hankering for some Mexican food... we actually drove by this place accidentally and came back the next day for dinner. Excellent, authentic, and delicious Mexican food! Ordered delivery to my hotel. Young man on the phone was very polite and friendly. I had the Zamora. Food actually arrived within 20 minutes. Mexican food often doesn't travel well but this arrived hot and fresh, almost as if I was sitting in the restaurant. Taste was better than any Mexican food I have had in Wisconsin. Chips were fresh and he gave me plenty of salsa. I won't have a problem eating here in the future whenever I pass through. read more

Very very yummy food, better than most Mexican restaurants I've been too. We all left very happy and full. We didn't have any issues with the food or service (our waitress was very polite) but the building was concerning. They had buckets out to collect water dripping from the ceiling and there were a lot of flies. Another issue was that there was only one vegetarian option (Taco Bowl Vegetarian) as far as I could tell. I'm sure you could request that certain meals be made vegetarian, but there was only one that was specified as vegetarian. I'm giving it 4/5 stars because the food was so good, but I won't be returning unless they add more vegetarian options. read more

Meh. Most of the negative reviews are a bit harsh but not off base. The comments about waiters that deliver food and never return are true. The staff was friendly, they just were inattentive. The comments about bland food are accurate, but that's not a terrible thing. Some places load on the spice. That's not my thing and my wife has a sensitive stomach. It works for some folks. The comments suggesting Taco Bell is better are unfair. This is superior in every way to Taco Bell. It isn't a bad Mexican restaurant, but it is at the low end of average. Would I return? Excellent restaurant and worth seeking out. Menu does contain Tex-Mex but there is more. We have explored the menu and know that the Red Snapper dishes are the best items on the menu. This trip I tried the Tampiquena which is a slice of very tender skirt steak with arbol sauce and frijoles de la olla. Was great but too much to eat. Came with grilled potatoes Mexican style I guess. We ordered for delivery from Fiesta while staying at the Comfort Suites in Johnson Creek. Usually, when ordering delivery, the quality drops drastically, but I was very happy to find out this was not the case here.. I ordered the combination platter with the taco and chimichanga with steak, and the chille relleno. The steak was perfectly done and very flavorful and the chille was large, cooked perfectly, and delicious! The wife ordered the chimichangas in chicken and beef,but was disappointed that they had a seasoning similar to nutmeg. We also ordered their queso fundido Verde which was delicious, but a warning to lovers of 'Americanized' Mexican food... this is not that fake cheese sauce most call 'queso'.. very authentic with a verde sauce on top.. delicious! read more

We did not stop for food, but will in the future! We broke down on I94 from a blown radiator hose just past the Johnson Creek exit. A driver of this business utility van stopped and asked if we needed assistance. We had help, we graciously declined but he did leave behind some coolant for us. I am appreciative of their help. I was skeptical going in based on the past reviews I saw being either really good or really bad. We went for the all you can eat crab. Not busy at all. Got seated immediately. Our waitress was there just as soon as we were seated and gave us chips and salsa and took our drink orders. She promptly returned with our drinks and took our food order. A few minutes later she brought out garlic bread that us included with the crab. Over all a very good experience. The staff was pleasant with the exception of another waitress that we asked to get us some more melted butter. She acted offended that we asked her and she had to track down our waitress who was busy at the front desk. Food was what I expected. Will definitely go back. read more

Tequila. Tequila tequila tequila. Fiesta Garibaldi's got it. Somewhere between 30-50 varieties, to be not at all exact. A couple friends and I drove to Johnson Creek to meet a friend from Milwaukee to see a movie, and afterward the four of us decided to grab a drink. We stumbled upon Fiesta Girabaldi, and decided that it looked just festive enough for a drink. What was meant to be one drink ended up being me having half a drink and my three companions getting smashed. I ordered a strawberry margarita, and was rewarded with a giant (no, seriously, GIANT) blended marg from a machine. While most pre-mixed margaritas are so-so, this one was really pretty boozy and not too sugary. After about a quarter of it, I stopped drinking and passed it off to my friend who had spilled much her house margarita rocks. I had volunteered to be the designated driver, and my empty stomach combined with the amount of tequila in my drink was quickly leading to that not being an option. After getting some free chips & salsa from the bartender, the rest of the gang decided to sample one of the tequilas on the wall behind the bar. One quickly became two, which became three, (the final being compliments of the bartender), and then four with addition of a honey whiskey shot, also compliments of our new best friend. The bar closes when the restaurant does (11 PM), but the bartender was kind enough to let us stay for about 30 minutes after, allowing some of the tequila to settle. The downside of the Fiesta Girabaldi bar is that it's a little pricey - the shots were $5 and the margaritas $9, and it's pretty small. However, most people are probably going there for dinner, not a night at the bar, so size and affordability for multiple drinks are probably not the highest of concerns. read more

The food here is greasier than fast food! I had a steak enchilada with verde sauce and when I cut it open, it literally oozed with grease. Yuck! I'm someone who will usually finish all the food on my plate, and if I don't I'll have it packed up to go. I didn't finish the food, and I didn't want to take it home. The food didn't exactly taste horrible, but I also wouldn't say it tasted good. Due the excessive amounts of grease, I wound up with a terrible stomach ache a few hours later. My friends had similar opinions about their dishes of quesadillas and chicken fajitas. In fact, my friend who had the quesadilla said it was the worst she's ever had. How do you mess up a quesadilla?! We originally came here because it was an easy meeting place right off the highway for my friends coming from all different directions, but this place will not be worth the convenience in the future! read more

i was surprised to find this place out near Prime Outlet of Johnson Creek. The chips they bring to table right away were thinner than usual and very crisp. Loved them. Came with two types salsa. One was great the other starts a fire in your mouth. Guess some ppl like that. LOL I had the lunch special of 2 enchilada for $6.25. It came with salad, beans and rice. No charge for sour cream. I enjoy coming here to get a bite to eat before shoppin til I drop! Meals come with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips come out nice and warm, and the salsa is great too. They will bring out a mild and hot. I usually always get the steak burrito, which is HUGE! I always have leftovers to take home. Their Spanish rice is not all that flavorful. I'd say is a better than average Mexican restaurant. read more

It's really hit or miss for me here. If you go on busier days the food seems more fresh than not as busy days. My go to is the taco dinner and you can't really go wrong. I really wanna like this place. Tonight was our second time eating here and it will be our last. Servers are nice but pretty lazy. We watched the chef ring the bell a couple times, indicating our food was ready, before our server got up from the table he was sitting at and bring the food over. Enchiladas suizas were coated in gelatinous cheese and the chicken/red sauce filling just didn't meld with the verde sauce. Husband had the chimichangas; same red sauce filling as my enchiladas. Fiesta Garibaldi is a great Mexican restaurant. I meet my mom there for dinner on occasion and always have a good meal. They have your standard Mexican items, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. They also have some more unusual items on the menu. I really like the chicken enchiladas. That is what I order most of the time when I'm there. They are filled with good pulled chicken, and cheese. I like the green sauce the best on top. The service is good too. read more
