We found this restaurant about a month ago. Went for the second time today. Some of the best fajitas I've had anywhere. Today I had the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. Came out fresh and hot. Good service, very nice booths for seating. I wasn't complaining the first time, but the salsa came out less chunky today, which made it even more delicious. We'll be back, and often. read more

We were visiting the campus of Sewanee, the University of the South,, and decided to take a ride down the mountain. We were looking for something to eat dinner and happened upon Fiesta Grill. It had great ratings on Yelp so we stopped in. There was quite a crowd eating, but we were able to get a table immediately. This restaurant has more of an open floor plan, so don't except a romantic setting. We started with frozen margaritas. My favorite is the peach. They had the typical complimentary salsa and chips which is always a crowd favorite. To me, their salsa was execeptionally good! For dinner I ordered my favorite go to dish a bean burrito with rice and beans. It was your typical Tex Mex fare. The service was ok. It was some times hard to find a waiter. However, they were having to run around a lot because there were so many people. read more

Our go to restaurant for Mexican. The food is great, service excellent, salsa is the best around and the decor is perfect. We have never gotten a bad meal or a bad drink. Cousins come up from Huntsville to eat here. We moved out of Cowan last year but go back weekly with our "Thirsty Thursday" group. This has been my favorite go to restaurant for many many years. I've dined in and ordered out and both experiences were pleasant. The restaurant is always very clean tables always wiped clean and silverware spotless! Had many different menu items and all are great!! I live in Florida and I've never had Mexican food this good in 15 years of being in Florida. And Florida has an abundance of Mexican restaurants. From the time of ordering I had my food in less than 10 minutes!!! It was crazy! I've never had food served this fast and hot in a sit down restaurant. Ever. I had fajitas with shrimp, steak and chicken. It arrived sizzling and looked incredible. The beans and rice tasted awesome and fresh. They give you 4 tortillas which is nice because after 3 I was almost full. The chips and salsa were very good and they even asked if we liked spicy salsa and brought some out for us to try. We ordered a side of guacamole before the meal and it was very fresh and yummy. The servers refilled my drink on the fly and I never had to ask for a refill. This is my biggest complaint about most restaurants. I ended my meal with a deep fried ice cream and I'm sure glad I did! It was delectable! Very glad I was brought here by some friends of mine. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Tullahoma, Winchester, and Cowen area. Friday night we went to eat and had about a twenty five minute wait. The town of Cowen was alive with Christmas parties and downtown sales so it seems we all had the same idea, go eat. After being seated our waitress came over introduce herself as Raye. We figured we would be in for a wait on our food orders and settled in to some refreshing drinks with salsa and chips. We were pleasently surprised when our food came out hot and quickly. Raye was slammed and so so attentive to every need of her clients. We watched her move from table to table taking time to make everyone feel at home but also immediately take care of everything they requested. After our meal we spoke to the cashier who happened to be the owner. We complemented the food the staff and the service. He told us he only had three people working the grill and yet this restaurant put out massive amounts of food in a very timely manner. He bragged on his workers. I told him he should be proud great management makes great restaurants. We are so looking forward to our next visit. read more

The menu is full of wonderful dishes. The chips and salsa they brought to the table were delicious! Great salsa! It had just enough burn! We decided to have a pitcher of sangria. The pitcher had to be a half gallon! Thank goodness the sangria wasn't too strong! It, too, was delicious! I ordered the Fiesta Burrito. The flavor was good but it was way too salty! They lost half a star for that. They lost the other half star because no one stopped by to ask us anything! Just rode ten miles up on the Swanee mountain trails so we were hungry. Good choice of beers on tap, food was good, atmosphere was great, service was great. It was after the lunch hour, maybe two o'clock, so the only other patrons were two cattle ranchers and one drunk chick with them. We think we will go back for another mountain bike ride and eat there again, so in my book if you'll drive an hour to eat there and go back, it's a great place to eat. read more

Quite a surprise find in Cowen TN. Good solid Mexican food in a very nice atmosphere. Good service too. For something lighter try the grilled steak tacos (yum, and not slathered in cheese and sauce). For the cheese and sauce route, I like the chimichanga. There's an added bonus if you have a little boy who loves trains as they go by just across the street. They're pretty regular, but you can ignore them easily if they're not your thing. read more

This is one of the best Mexican Restaurants within a 25 mile radius of Cowan. I have been to every single one in Winchester, Tullahoma, Manchester, Monteagle etc. and none are as consistently good as this one. I recommend the fiesta platter it is a lot of food though. You may want to take some home. The chimichanga is of course very good also. They also have salsa like you used to get before the quality in most Mexican Restaurants started to suffer from cheap ingredients due to higher food prices and lots of competition I suppose. read more

Love this restaurant! I have been dining at Fiesta since it opened in Cowan. This is one of the few local restaurants where I've never had a bad meal. I love the crazy chicken, the soft chicken tacos are a favorite and they also make a good margarita to boot. Everything on the menu is great in my opinion. Food was perfect! Not like most Mexican food chains! We had taco soup, beef enchiladas, rice, refried beans. A little spicy but not overwhelming. I don't like real spicy food. Didn't try the dessert but they looked good. Atmosphere was quiet and no rowdy people (Sunday night). They serve alcohol but we weren't impressed with the selection. They had plenty of waitresses and servers and we were seated and received our food quickly. However, once we had our food and drinks, seems we were forgotten. We needed our waters refilled and finally had to wave someone over. That is the only negative. read more
