Food was....different. My Spanish Rice was bland and dry. You will choke eating this rice. I ordered the Steak Quesadilla, usually quesadillas come with meat, cheese, and beans (inside the quesadilla) but this one had bell pepper , onions , and tomato ......I personally didn't like it. The service was bad. Restraint wasn't fully staffed so it took a long time to put in our order, get our drinks, and to receive our food. Plus the our server ( a women) was hurrying us up to put in our order and was basically yelling when she spoke. It was not a good experience for us. The restaurant was too loud. This was amazing Mexican food. Coming from Texas we were not sure, but it was delicious. I had the burrito verde and hubby had chicken enchiladas both were so good. Chips and salsa delicious and the waitress was so nice. The food came out right away and was nice and hot. We got there in time for lunch prices so our bill was less than $30 including tip. We live fairly close to this location and it is for sure one of our favorites when heading out to eat. Their service is always warm and welcoming to us and our kids. The food is always fast and warm and this past visit it was nice to see how they're handling social distancing and really making sure all guests are as safe as they can be. Having just moved to Wisconsin and having no clue where to go for some Mexican food my granddaughter and I took a chance and a little drive. And we were not disappointed. I had the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. While the shrimp were a little shy the rest were very good. Had a nice serving of the traditional sides. And while most of the places I've been to give you 3 tortillas I got 5. My granddaughter had a shrimp burrito. Warning: don't plan on picking this boy up. You will need a knife and fork unless you want to wear it. But again the shrimp were a little hard to find. But we will be back for sure. And you should try them when in the area. read more

Came for cinco de Mayo and was not impressed. There was a wait, not surprised for the day so we headed to the bar to have a margarita while we waited. 15 minutes later NO ONE would serve us a drink. We got seated and got our huge mug of margarita mix with a splash of rail tequila and ordered food. It took an hour. AN HOUR! I get it's cinco, but an hour. And it was cold and greasy. Well....The good and the not so good. I live close to this place and have gotten takeout a number of times because I am a single and don't really like to go to new restaurants alone; solo female diners get horrible service far too often. However, the food is pretty good, and the serving are generous, so instead of going to the Village Pizzaria for lunch, I decide to try dining in here for a change. Oops. I went it, there were maybe 10 people in the whole place, and one server. She was clearly in a mood, and since she was alone, I didn't think much of it. (I've been a waitress myself and can sympathize) She literally went to EVERY person in there, made conversation with them, while asking me to wait, standing in the foyer with a dozen or more empty tables to sit at. Okay...not cool, but okay. I was finally seated, waited for a menu, waited again for a drink order to be taken, waited another 10 minutes for my food order to be taken, while she took orders from people who came in after me, and made lengthy conversation with people at the bar who already had food and drinks. She was noticeably unfriendly to me, and I was not made to feel in the least bit welcome. The margarita came, and it was clearly a premix and not very good, but it did at least have some tequila in it, so okay. My food came, and it was okay too, so for the moment everything's marginally okay, but at this point I'm getting a bit annoyed by her obvious attitude towards me. It was weird, as I have never seen this woman before, never dined in before and was extremely pleasant to her, as I tend to be with servers. I could only eat about half of my food (usual for me, since servings are so large) so asked for a carryout box. It was tossed on the table as she went by, and no check was presented. I tried to stop her next time she went by to ask her to add a carry out order of Guac and Pico De Gallo to my bill, and she acknowledged me but said nothing, then came back to confirm what I had asked for about 5 minutes later. By this time there was another waitress taking new tables, the place was still far from busy, and this waitress had one table besides mine, so no real excuse for her abrupt behavior. When I finally got the check, I took off as soon as I could get out of there, having been treated in a manner that nobody should have accept without a good reason for it. When I checked the carry outs they were very small for the price and I know that they are usually larger, as I have ordered both for takeout before. Because I have been a server myself, I ALWAYS tip at least 20%, so this unpleasant woman got that, though had she been even remotely friendly or welcoming, she would have gotten my normal post-Covid percentage of 25%. Again...Oops. In short, I will not be returning to dine in again, but will continue to order takeout because the owners shouldn't be punished for her behavior, and the food is decent, filling and close-by. Restaurants in small towns really cannot afford to treat ANY diners in this manner. read more

You'll get better food at Taco Bell. The queso and salsa taste straight from a jar (actually, Tostitos queso tastes better!) and the chips were stale. I had the three enchiladas - one pork, one chicken, one beef - and they were awful. The chicken tasted canned, the ground beef had the texture of baby food, and nothing was seasoned AT ALL. I had to salt my food to try to make it edible. The refried beans are like pudding. I know this is Wisconsin, but we are crying for a decent restaurant and this is NOT IT. read more

The service was FANTASTIC but the taco salad had very little steak fajita and was 70 percent salad. A TINY bit of guacamole and no tomatoes, pic de Gallo or any other besides the lettuce and steak. My Wife and I love Mexican food and this place delivers. The bean soup with cheese and onions is the best. Get the small unless you are really hungry. My wife likes the carnitas bowl but branches out on occasion. I can never decide but the Chili Rellanos are best in the area and 2 with rice and beans top you up. But if you are a tamale fan then order one a'la carte with your main course. Taste like street tamales in Guadalajara. My wife says the margaritas are good but I settle for a cold Dos Equis on tap. My wife and I stopped at Fiesta Loca on a whim because I was hungry for an enchilada during a moving day from Hudson to St. Croix Falls. What a grand surprise! The menu has over 50 items (because one of the specials today - 4 Jan 2015 - was #50). The wife ordered a steak salad and I had an enchilada plate. She drank a Corona beer and I had a mug of hot liquid since I was driving and it was -7 degrees today. Bill was $22.66 before the well-deserved tip. After our first round of warm chips and salsa were gone, the waitress promptly offered and then brought us a refill on both. Having had a steak salad the previous night in St. Paul, my wife commented that this one from Fiesta Loca was easier to eat and had more steak on it. In fact, the salad was nearly covered with sliced flank steak when it was presented at the table. My enchilada plate was delicious and filling. Flour tortilla enchilada was spread with white cheese sauce, stuffed with flavorful beef, nice size (6" x 4" x 2" high) , plentiful side servings of mexican rice and refried beans and two piles of lettuce topped with sour cream. Very good food, filling portions and reasonable prices. It's our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Highly recommended. I believe we'll take guests there when we feel like getting out of the house for a meal to give the ladies a break from cooking. Decor is hammered tin ceiling, booths and tables covering 2/3 of the floor and a bar in back with a big screen showing the football game. Corner of the block in downtown Osceola. We needed a quick place to eat after an exhausting day in Dresser, so we opted for this restaurant because it was open. There was no one else in the restaurant, but we did arrive at 3pm on a weekday. They started us off with hot chips and salsa. My friend, whom is half Mexican, said the food was not bad for Mexican food in Wisconsin. She had the taco salad and ate all of it. I had the burrito, and it was thinner than i expected, but it came with the typical sides of beans and rice which helped fill me up. My other friend got the tacos, which she enjoyed after topping it off with the sauces at the table, but the tamale was not appetizing... and after one bite, it was left to be thrown away. read more

They have moved, new location is south of Dresser on West side of Wisconsin USH 35. Complete remodel of the old Traprock Inn...and they did an excellent job! Good service, added business at this location, so they will need to evaluate staffing as the business grows. The food is excellent and portions are usually more than enough to top you off and maybe enough for lunch tomorrow. Visited their previous location in Osceola on the main drag several times and enjoyed the experience...the new location offers a much better parking situation (off street) and a more traditional ambiance, and the bonus of a full bar...prices are reasonable food is great, what's not to like!r read more

I find myself in Osceola quite often for business reasons. I've been to the Loco three times now, because I just really want to like it. Unfortunately they just aren't going to shine. Waitstaff is indifferent at best; food is less than average; employees have no idea what types of tequilas they offer so they motion with their hand that you should go look for yourself; and the place is in desperate need of renovations. I was once there at 7:00 on a Sunday evening and sign said they closed at 9:00. At 7:30, after waitress took my order for a second margarita, she shut the lights out on us. Why offer to get me another? I had to eat and drink in darkness. Why not just tell me you're closing early tonight? read more

Horrible service twice. Don't waste your time or money. Food comes piecemeal, silverware later AFTER THE FOOD, bar drinks just before the food and no one really cares.
