Got drinks & an order of chips and salsa since it's not included like most Mexican restaurants. We left after 30 minutes when they still had not taken our order or checked back! Watched the waitresses at the grill window trying to get all the orders fixed. We never got food, we won't be going back! Update 1-16-26. Decided to give this another try, was close & in the mood for Mexican. It wasn't busy, 1 other table seated. Walked in & sat myself, looked over the menu while I waited for staff...and waited...and waited...and waited. Aaaand waaaaited!!! Seriously, nobody else there and after 5 minutes hadn't even been greeted much less served. The service here is terrible!!!

All three had flavor, personality, and just enough mess to prove they don't skimp on the good stuff. (If your taco doesn't drip, did you even taco?) For dessert, I went all in with the Cheesecake Chimi. Imagine cheesecake got invited to a cinnamon-sugar carnival and decided never to leave. Crunchy, sweet, and dangerously addictive. The service was fast, the place was clean, and my only regret is that I didn't order extra napkins up front. Verdict: Come for the tacos, stay for the chimi, and wear a shirt you're not afraid to baptize in salsa.

We each had different dishes-- Green Chile Stew, Three Sisters (I asked for a combo of chorizo and beef and they said, "Of course!"), Sandia Sopapilla with shredded beef. All were excellent and were attractively plated-- it wouldn't have mattered, but it was those little extras that really elevated the experience. We were also given a bowl of their latest salsa to try-- sweet and mildly spicy watermelon! We are regulars here and always enjoy the food and the pleasant ambiance, but this brunch was truly exceptional. We ended our meal with a plate of puffy Sopapillas with honey to share. Delicious! **This is New Mexican and NM-inspired food, not the same as Mexican or Tex-Mex.** If you're not familiar with it, you may ask for samples of sauces and meats before you order! NM cuisine is less about piles of cheese and taco shells and more about the flavors of their regional peppers (which they fly in fresh here!). It's a blend of Mexican, Spanish and Pueblo Indigenous foods, not American-Mexican. And yes, you still get great chips & salsa, but you're going to want to pass on the refills to make room for the stars of the meal-- the e

Our server was friendly and provided great service. I started my meal with a beer. They offer many popular Mexican Lager style beers on draft and in cans. They also have rotating drafts. I opted for an IPA draft. The beer paired well with the chips and salsa. I struggled making a decision as many brunch items looked great. I landed on the Hueveos New Mexican. This was different from most brunch items I tried but it was very good. The green chile pork had a bit of heat for me but I still enjoyed it. The tortillas, sauce and queso were all excellent. Whether you are looking for brunch, lunch or dinner I recommend giving Chile Verde a try. They are three for three in my limited sample size.

We had our food within 15 min of sitting down, every was accurate, hot and fresh. I can also 5/5 recommend the nachos supreme and chicken burrito bowl. I had an issue and in the middle of my sentence she cut me off, walked away and said (over her shoulder) "I'll send him over." The "him" showed up, also very rude, and didn't let me actually ask the question I wanted after pointing out that one piece of a chili the size of your fingernail smothered in ground meat and cheese is not a chili relano. It's meat and cheese with a TINY piece of chili in it. Then "he" continued to make it worse. He kept coming back to prove me wrong. I know what a poblano is and what a chili relano is... But "he" refused to let it go. "He" brought a poblano over to show me what it looks like... Well DUH A HOLE! I just said, We need a to go box and the check please. We all know when a man decides he is right and you're an idiot there is no talking to them. I just wanted to get the check and leave. Then "he" comes back and tells me, and when I say in a very rude, childish and disgusting way... I mean in a RUDE, CHILDISH AND DISGUSTING way "he" informed me he took it off our bill. "He" didn't say sorry, kiss my behind or nothing... Just said it and stormed off. I turned toward his voice and said, as he stormed off "I never asked you to do that" And I didn't. To this day I still have the unasked and unanswered question, "Is this (the tiny fingernail sized piece of a chili) what you would accept as a chili relano if it were on your plate?" I was looking forward to a good meal but got attitude and nastyness instead. This man has some serious issues and has zero business trying to manage a restaurant! I didn't take a photo because, well, what's the point? When a place has rude waite staff AND rude management... It's a place that does not care. Date May 30, 2026 Time 330 pm.
