All three had flavor, personality, and just enough mess to prove they don't skimp on the good stuff. (If your taco doesn't drip, did you even taco?) For dessert, I went all in with the Cheesecake Chimi. Imagine cheesecake got invited to a cinnamon-sugar carnival and decided never to leave. Crunchy, sweet, and dangerously addictive. The service was fast, the place was clean, and my only regret is that I didn't order extra napkins up front. Verdict: Come for the tacos, stay for the chimi, and wear a shirt you're not afraid to baptize in salsa.

Walking in, it smelled delicious. I saw people plates and the food looked great, so of course I was excited for our meal and almost regretting that we got carryout. The staff were very nice and told us to make sure we come back to dine in (I'll be back ASAP!). Our food was delicious!! I had the Birria torta and my husband got an assortment of tacos (which of course I tried), we also shared the chori queso. The bread from the torta was fresh and soft and loaded with meat, it did get a little soggy but I wasn't bothered considering it was birria. I especially loved their salsas, they were both packed full of flavor and the red one had a nice kick. We enjoyed all of the tacos, al pastor, steak, campechanos, and quesa birria. They were a good size and very flavorful. The chori queso was pretty good, it wasn't overly greasy like some others I've had and the chips were fresh. Overall this seems like it will be a great spot, Delaware has plenty of Mexican Restaurants to choose from but Hacienda offers some different options I haven't seen at the others. Happy to have them in the area!

Patio provides for a very nice setting. Food is fresh and delicious. Best margaritas as well. No awful sugary fillers like other places use. They also take reservations. We will definitely be back.

Clouds are threatening rain but the day is in the 70's and inside/outside patio doors are open. After a warm greating, we were seated and our favorite chips and salsa were delivered . We are off to a great start! The salsa is house made with chunks of tomato, onion, peppers sourced from New Mexico and other spices that come together perfectly. This is one of those things you want a day old - it gives the flavors a chance to deepen and is the best salsa EVER. Our son joined us for lunch (which was a treat for us). BUT he is deeply committed to their kid's Mac & Cheese. (SMH) and the chips and salsa. Dont blame us; he was raised better than that! Hubs and I ordered the Lunch Shredded Beef Burrito. (Our favorite meal at Chili Verde.). The beef is fork tender and so flavorable. Wrapped in a fresh tortilla and served with your choice of red or green sauce on top. We opted to use that awesome salsa to top our burtito tableside. Lunch burritos include one side. Rice and beans are the default options but I ordered the corn and hubs ordered the mashed potatoes. Dinner includes 2 sides and a larger burrito. The mashed potatoes are hand-mashed with a few chunks here and there and lightly spiced. These potatoes are a family favorite. The corn is whole kernals seasoned with onions and bacon and lightly sweetened. This is my all time go-to! Hubs also recommends the pinto beans. Served as a whole bean served in a little gravy/liquid; the side dish is peppery and yummy. The secret is out about this restaurant and it is always busy. I recommend making a reservation through open table before you visit. I posted pics of today's lunch including our empty plates that we easily could have licked clean!
