My wife and I stopped into Fiesta Mariachi in Grove City for dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. She ordered the two tacos and one enchilada combo which came with Spanish rice--classic, flavorful, and exactly what she was craving. I went with the Nachos Loco, and let me just say: they live up to the name. A giant plate of tortilla chips smothered in queso blanco, loaded with chicken and beef strips, plus assorted peppers, with fresh lettuce and tomatoes on the side. Definitely enough to share (but I wasn't sharing much!). Of course, no visit starts without their complimentary chips and salsa--fresh, crunchy, and addicting. We had to pace ourselves so we didn't fill up before the main dishes came out. Our waitress, Mariela, was outstanding. Super friendly, quick with refills, and she kept us stocked up with extra salsa without us even having to ask. It's always nice when great food comes with equally great service, and she really made the experience even better. I ordered a chicken quesadiila and a margarita. It came with lettuce, tomato and sour cream. The sour cream portion was less than a teaspoon so I was very disappointed and had to order more. This is a middle of the road restaurant with a friendly staff. The ambiance is relatively relaxed with average Mexican theme decor. The food was just ok. The highlight of the meal was the raspberry margarita. I asked for salt on the rim, but didn't get much. Other than that, it was good. Black bean quesadilla from the lunch menu was disappointing. Very little cheese in the quesadilla, plenty of black beans, corn was only on half of the tortilla, as well the avocado. The lettuce and tomato served on the side didn't have nearly enough tomato. I was complaining because I ordered some nachos locos today and they gave me a bag of chips that was pretty much empty so I went back inside to say hey if this is what I'm getting please I rather not to have any chips at all because this bag is empty and she said that's the normal size for one order and I told her I buy Nacho locos pretty much everyday and this is not the normal size and she said oh we have had some new girls that's why they were not doing it right and putting more. I have been here several times over the years. Parking. The parking lot has plenty of parking for all the costumers and has never been an issue. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a host and directed to the table of people waiting for me to arrive. Once seated, the waiter came to provide me with a menu and ask what I would like to drink. Once the drink arrived I also placed my order, as my whole table did as well at that time. Food. The food arrived within 10 minutes from ordered, wow that was fast. The chips and salsa were great, but my main entree was good, but not great. The waiter was very attentive and filled drinks when needed. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals. And the best part, it was not expensive. First time at this location. The facility seemed small, the tables were close and the booths seemed small. The food was on par with other places I have been. Chips and Salsa were standard appetizer. I had the fajitas. The shrimp were cooked well, but the chicken was very tough. The mixed vegetables were delicious, and the side of rice and beans were standard, but nothing great. Was driving past Grove City and decided to try this place out. The chips and salsa were good. The salsa had a nice little kick. I ordered the pollo el Rey dish. The chicken was topped with a homemade cream cheese sauce so I was expecting the sauce to be more of light and creamy base rather than a dark, red sauce. My friend and I were in Grove City yesterday and decided to check out Fiesta Mariachi for lunch. I'm a big Mexican food fan but my friend can be a bit picky. I'd never been there before and was a little nervous if my friend would like it but he was deferring to me to pick the lunch place and I was in the mood for Mexican, so away we went. And I gotta say, we were both impressed overall! I had the Enchiladas Supreme (one cheese, one chicken and one beef enchiladas, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, beans and rice) and he had the Chimichangas entree (one beef and one chicken chimichanga, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, beans and rice). First thing I noticed was that our entrees were nice and hot. In my experience, at Mexican restaurants, the plates are usually scorching hot... and the food is just warm, at best. Not for us yesterday! The plate was scorching hot (as expected) and the food was very hot as well. Initial impression was good. Definitely a check in the "plus column". Sometimes the food can be sort of bland at Mexican restaurants, not terribly seasoned, just average. Not our experience here. We both commented on how flavorful our entrees were. Very tasty! The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and great. I believe his name was Bryan (I am terrible at remembering names but that is the name on the receipt. I hope that's right.) Good work Bryan! The decor was typical Mexican restaurant. Nothing unusual or outstanding of note. It was reasonably busy for lunch on a Saturday but we were seated immediately, which was nice. The booth was comfortable. Unfortunately, I don't live close to Grove City but after finding out that they have a VIP loyalty program, I may have to make the trip there more often. read more

This is a great, little Mexican restaurant. I come here a lot on my lunch break. Service is fast, friendly and the food is really good. I sit at the bar and the guy who serves me is so nice. I'm not sure of his name because he doesn't wear a name tag but he's always working days and I get him every time and he's great. Took my uncle out for his birthday and waiter was racist to him. My uncle asked the waiter politely to translate what the Monterey cheesesteak had in Spanish. Our waiter is Hispanic and said "estas en America, debes de saber hablar inglés y entender inglés" translation "you are in America you need to know how to speak English and speak English. My uncles replied by saying he is being disrespectful and did not wish to speak to him anymore. The waiter replied "I'll find you another waiter since you are being difficult." As a waiter especially bilingual you should be helpful and translate to the customer what a food contains and not lash at him saying he needs to learn English. That waiter should be fired! Fiesta Maraichi Stringtown Road Grove City I have finally had enough of the rude, obnoxious "mangers". Today, at lunch time requested a little extra cheese sauce. I received about 2tbs of cheese sauce. Not to mention my grandson's kids meal needed to be requested 3 times. I received the bill with a charge of $5.49 for "cheese dip". When I questioned the charge the always nasty and condescending manager replied there is no cheese on the burrito and it's on the menu-"nothing is free". This is the third time I have been victimized by the incredibly rude management staff. Strike 3 and Fiesta Maraichi is OUT! That includes Tacos and Beers, never been but the same group of jerks owns it. Clearly, customer service is not in their wheelhouse. read more
