The menu is a little bit challenging as you need to add the price of the protein to the price of the entree. That being said, the food was pretty good and portions were decent. Wow. I hate to create low reviews like this, but honestly this was the worst food I've had in a while. I ordered guacamole, pollo, shrimp and Al pastor tacos. I also ordered the tres leches for dessert. All of the tacos were some of the worst tacos I've ever had. The meat was tough and flavorless. The shrimp did not taste fresh, My whole table commented on this as well and were disheartened since the food looked appealing and the reviews of this restaurant in general seem led very positive. The guacamole did not have enough lime and salt. It too was quite bland, but the chips were good. Lastly, the tres leches was decent and honestly had more flavor then any other of the food items I ordered. If I were to go back I'd just get dessert. Though prices aren't bad, the food was some of the worst quality and flavorless cuisine I've had in a while. I unfortunately won't be returning due to this experience. read more

Surprised by how much I liked this place! I'd been looking for good tacos and stumbled in to this place. I came on a Friday night and there was a bit of line, but it was still easy to find a seat and they were very fast. The customer service was a little lacking, but they also seemed like they were just trying to move quickly. I order 2 Al Pastor tacos (they had a sign saying they were known for their Al pastor), a chorizo taco, chips and salsa, churros, and a roasted peach margarita. Overall, it was VERY budget friendly for a large amount of food. The Al Pastor was good, but I definitely wouldn't say the best in the city. The chorizo however was delicious! My friend got a chicken quesadilla and grilled fish taco, she didn't finish the chicken quesadilla but said the grilled fish taco was amazing. The chips were decent but they had great salsa. The churros were also pretty good. The margarita was by the far the most expensive thing we got, it didn't taste much like peach, but was veryyyy strong. It seemed like the quality was all over the place, nothing was bad but some items were definitely better than others. Overall, it was quick and had some great options. The tacos are also good and i always appreciate the cilantro/onion/lime combo. The salsa they give are also great, the red salsa is excellent and def has a punch for those looking to spice things up. Parking: We had no trouble finding parking, but the lot is small. I did notice people park across the street and run over. So, just an FYI, park across the street if the lot is full. Staff/Food: So, this place was not as expected, you walk inside and up to the desk to order food, then go sit down until your food is ready to be picked up. I was immediately greeted when I walked inside, I ordered food, then waited 10 minutes until the food was ready. Food was fresh and okay tasting. I should note that the pop came in a can, which usually means no free refills, so I assume that is the case here as well. The employees were very nice. Bathrooms: The bathroom was surprisingly clean and nicely designed. I was impressed. Ambiance: This restaurant is good place for lunch or dinner with friends. The box is actually pretty heavy when you pick it up, with lots of cheese, Pico and pinto beans. It comes with sides of mild green salsa or fiery red. Consume the red with caution, but it does taste good! The fish tacos have either grilled or fried fish, both are good. I usually opt for the crunchy fried, with some spicy sauce, lettuce, and Pico. The grilled has a nice char on it, and cabbage in the wrap. Carry out here is usually about 15 minutes if you call, but the walk in line can be long. read more

I'm always fair and honest. Food was really good. Unfortunately, the whole experience was killed by the service. The bartender wasn't very attentive or welcoming from the first. Agree eating, I had to ask twice for the check and then finally when he gave it to me, I put money out immediately. He repeatedly walked by doing things like cutting limes or prepping. After he walked by the third time, I walked up to the girl at the counter to see if I could pay there and she looked at my check and said "he'll get it." Literally would not cash me out. Small piece of advice: if you can't do the basics or don't want to be in the service industry or think you're too cool to be in the service industry, then do something else.
