Food lacked flavor and was lukewarm. Chicken in the taco salad was watery and had zero seasoning which made the shell soggy and unbeatable. Was very little in the salad other than some chicken and lettuce. We used to eat here a lot but the quality has really gone down and prices have really gone up, especially compared to neighboring towns. read more

The service here isn't the best but I come here for 1 thing and 1 thing only....... MOlCAJETE!!!!! I first had a molcajete here and will always come back for it. As far as service goes, it's... fairly interesting. We tend to have our drink orders taken quickly and brought to us just as quickly, yet the meal orders take longer. The chicken dishes are generally quite average while my dining party says the beef dishes lack flavor; whether that's true or not I can't be sure without eating them, but I'd wager it's true just based on what I've eaten. Compared to the other Hispanic restaurants in town the main dishes are lackluster, but if I've learned anything from my years living here, it's that it's all up to personal preference. read more

Been twice and didn't like it either time. Food is kind of flavorless. When taco bell has more flavor, you know something is wrong.

I love Mexican food and have had the privilege of having authentic homemade Mexican, so my expectations are high. The parking lot was crowded on multiple occasions, so we took a gamble. We did take out, but the restaurant is large and perfect for families. The menu is extensive, but the usual tacos and burritos. My son and I did the 3 combo. He got a chalupa, enchilada and tamale. I got a tamale, enchilada and a burrito. While all were good, the tamales were the highlight!! Tender and flavorful, a must try. Sadly they came with no sides (no beans or rice), leaving the meal feeling incomplete. We ordered a side of guacamole which was a huge disappointment. The chips were fresh but the guacamole was plain and flavorless, as was the salsa, (both looked commercially made). I was hoping to find mole (personal favorite), but non to be found. So if you're looking for a midpoint Mexican restaurant for dining with children this is a good bet. The hostess was young and pleasant and accommodating. Nice find for a vacation spot. read more

We eat here regularly. The food is always good. The portions are large. The dining area is always clean. I suggest the Texas special. The tables and chairs are decorative. The staff is ok but as some reviews suggest they could be more personal and stop with the chit-chat amongst themselves and pay more attention to refilling drinks and being more polite/friendly with the customers. read more

Have been here last year and food is good. Well seasoned. Margarita was great! Was told they had a new cook and they were running a little behind but worth the few min wait. Loved the salsa and chips and had fajitas jalisco for 2 and was very good. The kids had kids meals. The waiter was very nice and apologetic for the wait. Order to go and they got my order wrong. Inconsiderate employees cannot tell cooks the right orders. So I couldn't eat my food when I got home. Called them and they wanted me to waste my gas and drive up there to exchange the order. They need new employees or a better manager to keep employees together. read more

The decor is fairly nice. Fiesta Mexico has pretty festively colorful chairs but that is where it ends. From the moment we stepped into the place we felt as if we were interrupting the employees from chit-chatting with each other. The host called us from several feet away and waved us to our table then plopped the silverware and menu's in front of us with out looking at us, smiling, or any other comment. The waiter came over and without so much as a greeting or a smile he asked if we wanted anything to drink. He came back very shortly thereafter asking if we were ready to order. He never looked at us. Someone dropped chips and dip on the table and when I smiled and said, "hello", he apparently didn't hear me because he never responded. The dip was not very good..I would say it was tasteless but that it wrong because it tasted more like tomato paste. There was no spice in it and I didn't even have to drink any water while eating it which should tell you something about it. When the waiter returned I ordered beef fajitas, almost immediately a plate of cold fixings was dropped on my table, again, he didn't speak, smile, or even look at me. Very shortly later a plate of cold fixings was dropped on the table again with no comment. With in a few minutes my husbands dinner arrived but I still had not gotten the expected sizzling fajita pan. My husband began to eat and shared with me a taste of the chili relleno which was mushy and tasted like they used american cheese in it. Finally my fajita pan came, not sizzling and over cooked. Even the tortillas wrapped in tin foil were cold. When I asked for the manager I was asked if I had a problem with the bathroom! The manager looked very young but then we are old and everyone looks young. He looked at me as if no one had ever complained before. I told him that I didn't want anything thing else just take it off my bill. He didn't say anything to me but took my plate into the kitchen. A few minutes later (longer than it took to get my fixings plate) he came back and apologized and said that he would take it off the bill. The waiter brought the bill and you could hardly read it because the ink in the printer desperately needed to be changed. Campbellsville doesn't have a lot of places to eat but I won't return to this one. read more

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant for kids because their salsa isn't very spicy but very tasteful, but if you like their is authentic Mexican hot sauce on every table to put in it. When their chips are freshly made, they are hot and wonderful. Their appetizers are very cheap and kid friendly. They even have stuff like chicken nuggets for those "picky kids." Their prices are very good, for just a little bit more money than you would spend at Taco Bell, you can have "real" food. They don't have a large assortment of alcohol but there's probably something you'll like. The food always come out hot and usually very fast. The servers sometimes have too many tables but they do a good job overall. P.S. they also have real Mexican rice, try it. read more

I would give this place 0 starts if i could!!!! i got very little for what i payed. i order a carry out order over the phone, the lady seemed kinda rude. i go to pick up my order come home and they got my order wrong and i was missing a meal! the food i did have was cold and nasty! i call back to speak to the manager and they correct the order free of charge... they just threw the food in my bag and once again was cold and soggy! not to mention i payed 12.99 FOR A CUP OF QUESO!!! the man at the counter asked for my name so i politely say my last name he kinda just swings the bag of food towards me and says here, not sorry for the mistake or tell me have a nice day.
