While you could pay for parking at the venue, I'm not about that life, so I found parking in the residential neighborhood that's close to the Park. It took me about 10-15 minutes to walk over. First off, let's talk about the main purpose of Sloan Park: spring training for the Chicago Cubs. I know spring training is a big deal in Phoenix, but I was impressed with how nice this stadium is. It may not have the history of Wrigley Field but it's a super nice venue. As far as the festival experience, everything was smooth. The grounds were well maintained, getting in and out was relatively easy, and I didn't run into any issues. Exactly what you're looking for when you attend a music festival. I'll have to stop by for a spring training game next time around!

You do not have mass traffic getting out like other parks. And the staff at this park are super friendly and helpful. Plus overall this park is super clean and kept up very well. Lastly the park offers a lot of food and beverage choices. The other cool thing about the park is that it has a retractable roof. Unfortunately the retractable roof is not open often due to heat. If it ever cools down, the roof will open. Plus they open the roof for firework shows. The other unique thing about this ballpark is that it has a pool in the outfield. How cool is it to enjoy a pool while watching a game. The pool can be rented out like a suite. I had the opportunity to take in a game by suite this time. The suite was perfect behind home plate. The suite offered its own bathroom: bonus! Great hospitality within the suite.

There was no AC in our "Preferred Seating" which was a total joke. The "security" were inept and it was a free for all to even get into the venue. Once inside, they did have a variety of vendors and the prices were typically for a stadium. The merch lines were unorganized and loooooong. The heat was unbearable and people were leaving early because they were so hot. It was disappointing, but the guys were energetic and played their hearts out. It's really a shame that the venue was so freaking awful.

Honestly a steal for a sporting event! The view is beautiful and the facility is clean. We sat in section 111, right behind home plate. We purchased food throughout the game and felt the prices were consistent with other ball parks. My only complaint is that vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are very limited and it's challenging to find food info on their website. I recommend eating ahead if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.

I will premise with: I have no clue about baseball, I played rugby and a bit of cricket, so made a total fool of myself but walked away laughing at my ineptitude ;). The event was well worth the prices, there were some vintners I 'knew' from the different events I've been attending the last couple months. The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.

If your thinking its going to be hot, just plan ahead with the weather and also book evening games. Scottsdale Stadium feels historic and just feels right! It felt like a true mini Giants stadium with merch stands, Giants decor, this is due to this being one of the very few stadiums that's not shared. Plenty of concessions with a variety of types of food too. The slope of grass in the back has a bunch of families set up with blankets to enjoy the game too. Overall easy to navigate!! Food was not too bad here too! They have some long hot dogs that a lot of people were getting. We got some island noodles that was okay, it was supposed to be soba noodles but it was basically just chicken chow mein. A tip for the stadium is that they have free refill stations so you can bring an empty water bottle to fill up!

It still felt like a MLB game just on a more personal level. Our tickets were in Charro Lodge at the Scottsdale Stadium. It was really easy to find where we needed to go and get lined up for food/drinks. Kids loved the Mac n cheese, Chicken tenders, fresh fruit and of course Sprite. My husband and I enjoyed Hamburgers, Fries and the drink selection. There was a lot of covered seating with umbrellas but the sun does sneak through making some spots hot to sit at. We had a pretty good view of the outfield and enjoyed watching the game. Everyone seemed really excited to be there and enjoyed mingling. Thank you, it was a great afternoon.

An amazing place to volunteer and become a part of the family. I've been volunteer coaching the…read morecompetitive league for the last 10 years. My heart fills and I get a big smile every time I pull into the parking lot. My young kids now come out to be a part of the fun and "help" coach. The team that runs the league is awesome and dedicated. They are constantly improving the austin and the uniforms and equipment. In the years I've been there have been great airings: a playground, batting cages, bleachers, announcer box, and video score board. The field is rubber turf to make it easy for wheelchairs, walkers, and more. The players feel that they are playing in a major league stadium! It's an amazing experience! What a great place for players of all ages and abilities.

Many kids struggle with staying in the box because they don't trust their skills. Bob's commitment to fundamentals has given my son the confidence to lock in there and compete. The lessons are structured in a manner where the kids go through a progression of drills that focus on coordination, balance and contact, but it's not all work. Bob makes it fun too and that's the reason my son looks forward to his lessons every week. Most importantly as parent I can tell you there hasn't been one time where Bob's attention was diverted from my child during his lesson or he didn't coach with patience and understanding. There are plenty of baseball instructors out there. Many can make your kid a better player, but few will make your kid a better person. Bob is that coach and I recommend him wholeheartedly.
