    Go Giants 2017
    Frank B.

SpringTraining 2017 day 5 took took the pinnacle of stadiums in the Valley of the Sun. Scottsdale Stadium home to the SF Giants is my personal favorite of seeing a spring training game. I drank lots of beer imported from the Bay Area and consumed too many hot dogs but damn I had a great day at the ballpark..

We went for the Giants Spring Training practice and had a wonderful time! The had friendly staff that gave us great insight on where to sit. You can sit wherever you like and just walk on in. The seating is comfortable and easy to get into, and roomy. Visit the Team Store!

Scottsdale Stadium Caught a Spring Training matchup with the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants and had a great experience. Scottsdale Stadium is intimate, easy to navigate, and every seat feels close to the action. Concessions moved fast, staff was friendly, and the Old Town vibe before and after the game makes it even better. As a Cubs fan, it was fun to see the boys up close in the Arizona sun. Clean, organized, and a perfect way to spend an afternoon. I'll definitely be back for more Cactus League baseball.

Great stadium for games and private events. Amazing views and backdrop with Camelback Mountain. Easy to get around the stadium and great free parking all around the area.

Look, I love my Giants but this stadium needs a serious revamp in concessions!!! The facilities are clean (I've heard the men's restrooms are maybe not as nice as the ladies), and the staff are always lovely, but by golly could we get some decent food choices? The options are great in San Francisco, why can't we bring a little of that here?

First time checking out this stadium this past weekend! Though it sadly was not for a Spring training game, but for a local event, Merchantile Market which was hosted at the stadium this year. They do have a public parking lot next door, though we parked behind the stadium near the Police station, as we were able to avoid mass traffic lines and simply walk around the stadium to enter. I am not sure if it is like this for spring training games as well, but this was quite a large event and very accessible and easy for us. I did not get to check out a large portion of the stadium as the entrance was the initial indoor space and full of vendors and the market was on the field, but it was cool to be able to be on the ground floor/field! I look forward to visiting it again for an actual game!

Came here for the Fall Classic league... sort of an all star game made up from top prospects of lots of teams. Parking garage in back has free parking for 3 hours so that's nice. Seats are nice and clean. Bathrooms are clean which can be a rare thing at sports venues. Concessions are prices as high or higher than MLB stadiums so be ready. Last note.. you cannot bring in bags that are not clear so if you have a purse or backpack you need to leave it in the car or buy a clear bag.

Least favourite Cactus League stadium of the 4 I saw a game at. Went to the Spring Breakout game which was the 2nd game of the day at the stadium. I was surprised at how quiet the stadium was, seemed many didn't stick around for the 2nd game but it was quite chilly as well. Atmosphere was lacking as a bunch of concessions were closed and employees were cleaning up from the 1st game. This stadium also seems to have the most expensive ticket prices, I think they wanted $50 for the lawn! - more than I pay for my MLB season tickets! Did get a hotdog which was pretty good and giant - I understand everything is supersized at this stadium as it's the Giants. Of course the dog was just as much as at a MLB stadium. Tickets went directly on the Ballpark App. Was able to easily find free street parking.

My first time ever here and spring training games. Loved the whole experience, easy access from uber drop off, a block away only, no long wait getting in park, everyone was so nice and happy, weather was perfect. Very small ballpark, you can easily move to better seats, . Food was good and of course prices are high for food and drinks. No long lines at bathrooms and very clean. You can bring in your own water bottle. It's close to old Scottsdale for after the game. Every seat is a good seat and big lawn area. GO GIANTS

Doing tourist things spring training baseball Ballgames was on the list of to-do's .....Great place to catch a game! Not a bad seat in the house in my perspective. The number of food stations had a variety of menus and pricing wasn't overly expensive considering the busy season of spring training. The beverage stands both adult and kid friendly had reasonable prices and I was pleasantly surprised. I could only Imagine how rockin this place is during the spring training season on the regular!! The parking is super close to the main gate - I am in firm belief that the overall planning and logistics of this stadium are professionally done and handled well! We parked in a business across the street for $20 Look into the charro pavilion area for all you can eat and drink... That place was rockin! This stadium is a must visit if in the area and you like baseball. With the family friendly vibe. The walk to the outfield is just was pretty decent. Bartender at bar was super nice and got me a much needed cup of vodka and soda with a smile. 10/10 times I would return... I have yet to have a bad time at a minor league stadium/ spring training game Thank you Scottsdale for having us!!! We shall return! Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

I had to venture to enemy territory since it was next to Old Town. Saw former Doyer Corey Seager (he played well). Hate the Gints. Nice stadium. Lots of food choices. Parking was a pain so we drove down 2 blocks and found free parking.

Was a fun time checking out my first giants spring training game . Parking was a bit annoying , but it's common with baseball games . Canned drinks were way over priced , more expensive than SF or LA - same with food of course . Overall nice experience .

The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.

There's plenty of parking, with both valet and self-parking options available. Self-parking was $10 per car ($13 if paying by card) We've been to WestWorld for other events before, but this was our first time attending Scottsdale Art Week, and the layout inside was very well done. The booths were thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to walk through and enjoy the different galleries. As you enter, there's a bar right at the front, but staff did a great job directing guests to additional bars located throughout the space, helpful since most people naturally gravitated toward the first one. We arrived at 7pm for the 6-9pm event and headed to the VIP area for some complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Unfortunately, about half of the food options were already gone. While they continued to replenish items like meatballs and chicken egg rolls, other offerings like chips, guacamole, salsa, and additional non-meat options were not restocked at all. When I asked a staff member from M Catering, I was told they hadn't ordered more beyond what was initially put out in the first hour, which was disappointing for a VIP event still in full swing. Additionally, the upkeep in the VIP area could have been better. There were quite a few dirty plates and glasses left on high-top tables and seating areas, and it didn't seem like the catering staff was keeping up with clearing or refreshing the space. That said, the artwork itself was the highlight. The variety of galleries and pieces on display was impressive, and we really enjoyed exploring everything. We also really enjoyed the entertainment throughout the evening, and the models wearing artwork were such a unique and creative touch, it added a fun element to the event.
