Drove all the way around building to the C building in the parking lot that was designated to the restaurant as we hadn't walked in the ball game yet.(which was super far)... started walking towards the gate that was open and a security guard stops to tell us we have to walk all the way around to the front to go in. (He was on a cart and didn't offer to drive us just flat out said no). We asked if we could sneak by him and still said no... there wasn't a sole in sight. (He could've physically escorted us but instead, stuck on the word "no" to walk around the full building). Hospitality runs in every industry. There are families who are willing to spend money ONSITE if you could get your signage together for clear communication for the people who would spend dollars and also, for some better customer service. It's not my fault you have poor signage. But when you have people willing to spend, and not ONE customer around... you should welcome them. That's how business works... Instead, he drove over to the baseball field where I saw him again. Sitting and looking at his phone... I hope that works out well for him.... I would be pissed if one of my employees got paid to sit on their phone and turn business away. Mr. Security Guard... your wages are paid by people who spend at your facilities. Considering I spend a fortune on baseball and also spend a fortune with my cheerleading company that comes to compete at this facility, I think you should go educate yourself on treating people well. (especially when it's SO hot outside)... a little kindness goes a long way. Also, if you want to "follow rules"... ask your supervisor if scrolling is a part of the job title. As for me, I will better prepare myself this weekend (as I have to be here for 3 more days) so I don't have to spend $1 of my hard earned money there.

It's affordable and consists of a small museum with pottery and other artifacts, outdoor ruins from an old Salado pueblo (self-guided), and a small gift shop. There is a film you can watch at the beginning of your visit to better understand the site. Decent-size parking lot, and it's unlikely you'll be sharing the site with too many other visitors. It was fairly empty when we went on a Saturday afternoon. I like how they incorporated cacti and other elements of Arizona landscapes into the ruins. A lot of the ruins aren't accessible and can only be viewed from behind metal fencing. I fully understand wanting visitors off the ruins but wish the site had adopted more aesthetically-pleasing solutions than metal wire fencing.

End of summer 2023, I started making email complaints to the city manager Moron Brown. Again within the last few weeks I sent him more emails about the rust, peeling possible LEAD paint and TOXIC MOLD in the women's shower room. Once again Moron Brown is dismissing my complaints of toxic mold that has not been properly remediated. He insists the property was thoroughly cleaned and is being properly maintained and is acting as if I'm the problem. Well I have pictures as proof and a doctor diagnosed mold allergies. Excessive toxic mold that is not been properly remediated by a certified mold technician, broken tiles, 5 inch strands of CRAP hanging from the ceiling where there's a layer of filth and rust on the ductwork and vents.. IS NOT THOUGHLY CLEANED AND OR PROPERLY CLEANED. IF NUT ALLERGIES HAVE TO BE DISCLOSED THEN WHY NOT TOXIC MOLD? Moron Brown says there are over 2,000 people a month that use the Show Low Aquatic Center. I know damn well I'm not the only one that has mold allergies. I've seen a woman in the pool with a breathing apparatus. There are a lot of senior citizens like myself that have breathing issues.
