I was showed around and loved the selection of machines so I stayed to pound some weight. Since they were so welcoming I came back several days while I was visiting Las Vegas. I thought I was lucky to find a Power House Gym. I wanted to train everyday while on vacation and show my son what a real gym looks like. On top of paying guest fees for two people for 4 days, I had intentions of buying him at least $300 of merchandise as well. It literally took me 30 minutes to drive from my Air BnB to that gym. The moron at the front desk took his sweet time having a personal conversation with someone and when he finally decided to pay me and my son any attention, he simply told me to scan the QR code and then kept on with his conversation. I don't know if he was one of the owners or not, but this type of customer service is just poor. I came with the intention of spending a lot of money in that business but after dealing with that I just refuse.

The only negative experience was seeing paramedics enter the gym and being told that management no longer allows first responders to use the restrooms unless they have an active membership. That was a little disheartening to hear, especially from a gym that promotes free access for teens during the summer. The concept for teens is fantastic and I'm not taking away from that--but offering free access to one group while restricting something as basic as restroom use for first responders seems confusing. I'm not sure if this is a policy at all Planet Fitness locations or just this one, but I'd be curious to know the reasoning. The staff handled the situation very professionally and kindly, though they did seem uncomfortable having to explain it. The delivery was excellent--the message itself, however, was disappointing. Hopefully, there's a valid explanation beyond simply "no membership."

I've been a loyal member of the Decatur Planet Fitness location for about two years, and it…read morehonestly used to be a place I enjoyed coming to. Unfortunately, since new management took over, the atmosphere has completely changed. During my most recent visit, the general manager approached me and my younger sister, who is a minor, in an aggressive and disrespectful manner over our backpacks. Instead of politely explaining the policy or giving us a chance to fix the issue, we were immediately told we had to "buy lockers on the spot" and were threatened with being banned if we didn't comply. The conversation quickly became uncomfortable and humiliating. What was most upsetting was being spoken to with profanity around minors, being constantly singled out, and even being accused of stealing equipment with absolutely no evidence. As someone who has been coming here for years without any issues, that was shocking and deeply disrespectful. I understand gym policies exist, and if we had simply been approached respectfully, we would have had no problem complying. I personally carry medication for migraines along with water and other necessities, which is why I keep a bag with me. This review is not about the locker policy--it's about how members are being treated. No member, especially young members, should feel intimidated, profiled, embarrassed, or threatened for simply walking into a gym they pay to attend. Management at this location seriously needs to reevaluate how they speak to people.

When I encountered her again and simply asked, "Excuse me, what were you sayiing?" to address what had happened, she walked away while repeatedly saying, "I'm not arguing." At no point was I arguing--I was trying to have a respectful, adult conversation about her approach. Shouting at members and then refusing to engage in a professional discussion is not how a manager should handle situations. I go to the gym to work out, not to be confronted or spoken to disrespectfully. Management should be able to communicate calmly, treat members with respect, and address concerns professionally instead of making assumptions and escalating situations. Based on my experience, Raquel's conduct did not reflect the professionalism, respect, or leadership I expect from someone in a management position. Do be aware of her unprofessional behavior, so disrespectful. Personal problems shouldn't be brought into your workplace, specially upholding a "manager" title.

The atmosphere Fit Club was welcoming and motivating, making it a pleasure to work out there and go beast mode! Gavin and Ryan's continuing pursuit to design and build the best gyms in Vegas is evident in every aspect of the facility. All the equipment is brand new, and the variety ensures that there is something for everyone, regardless of fitness level or goals. I have the pleasure of interacting with Vinny daily , who works at the front desk and honestly he is a fountain of knowledge. He is always helping me modify my lifts and giving me better and different ways to hit my favorite muscle groups in which give me progress that I NEED. Vinny's always smiling, making sure that the facility is spotless and that members have everything they need for a great workout experience. One of the standout features of The New Fit Club is Ryan Diaz, one of the best trainers in Vegas. Ryan has helped numerous people in my life improve their health and quality of life by showing them that the gym is meant for everyone, not just bodybuilders. His personalized approach and dedication to his clients' success make him an invaluable asset to the gym. Overall, the workouts that I get in at the new Fit Club are incredible & thanks to the outstanding facilities, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the top-notch trainers. This was the only spot nearby the strip that seemed like it had really good equipment and it was also member access controlled which is similar to the place I currently go to so I knew it wouldn't be too crowded like the hotel gyms. I was greeted by one of the workers/trainers who explained the day pass to us. After getting in, we had a solid workout for about 90 minutes. I can't emphasize enough how clean and well taken care of the overall gym was. The machine pulleys were all smooth with no friction and they had enough racks for everyone to use. Not completely related but almost everyone was really in shape which was definitely some added motivation. I would recommend to anyone coming to Vegas for a trip and I will be back here the next time I come as well!

Hey y'all! I'm a 6 yr, all-star, elite reviewer on yelp. I…read morewrite over 100s of reviews from my experiences at businesses. I go to all YELP elite parties & events gathering free items from generous businesses, no issue. Today, I'm reviewing my PAID service at this business. I was as in-depth as I could be here...having written more, I couldn't fit it all into the character count. My 5 star was changed to 1 star today! Unsatisfied! Here's why.. I purchased a 3-month package at $200, up front. That is $69 a month, already over-priced but hey I supported!! I went here weekly for 3 months, at first, I bought into it thinking it would be good idea due to the turn-out at the free party they had! I liked the energy at the free party! That made me ask about pricing. Never did I once ask about if the membership was free, or if anything was free. I asked about pricing. I spoke to someone over text and I even asked about pricing about their podcast room. I was WRONGFULLY accused on text by JOE, that I was asking for something free, when in reality, over text, I asked about pricing, I asked about the podcast room and was told by their podcast guy, what he'd charge me, to use the podcast room and what he wouldn't charge me to use the podcast room. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE on their part. The first straw! RED FLAG! Anyways, I started to go to the gym, I kept to myself, using the door system, having read the instructions on how this is a NON-SUPERVISED GYM, so I just did my own thing while there, getting out my own equipment, on my 2nd day there, I was RUBBED THE WRONG WAY again, by a staff, named GREG, who I didn't know, who didn't know me, he approached me from behind, he did not carefully introduce himself, he just TOLD me-as asking me if I could put away my rack, in which I didn't remember leaving a rack out, but if I did, I wasn't done with it, I said to him, why didn't you introduce urself, first? He responded with disrespect that it didn't matter either way he worked there and they put their stuff back! Hahahaha really? My intuition never lies to me! I just knew he was targeting me. He had targeted me on MY first day working-out there, he came to me randomly, & asked me if he could use the same equipment I was using, while I was using it... I felt like it was an attention grab w/ the wrong approach and yes I sent the gym owner a text about it letting him know his staff didnt have manners!!!! As I started to go there, I noticed, JOE told me how they put their equipment back, how they keep the gym clean and from my daily perspective, that was a false statement. Countless times: I've seen equipment being left out, no supervision, no one telling someone to put their stuff back, I've seen countless times the gym was dirty, dusty, nasty smelling restrooms, sink was broken, restrooms smelling like crap, trash cans filled to the top, lots of dust on the equipment, floors filthy... so the whole truth wasn't being told. But none the less I held back and held my composure to at the least get my money worth. BROKEN DOOR!!! 2x.. So I went there literally for 3 months straight, till the end of my 3 month membership. I was targeted total 5x by GREG... none of the times was he POLITE, or friendly, but was to other people there. I noticed this and stop going there due to him rubbing me the wrong way MANY TIMES! I FELT TRAPPED! I've spent my hard earned money there and I demand effortless customer support which was NOT RECEIVED.... The owner JOE, could had gave me another 2 weeks... (I asked to freeze my last 2 weeks) but I didn't use my last 2 weeks..... on the house... since I paid for those weeks and didnt USE THEM, just to show remorse & to COOPERATE with me. Once again, he didn't, he's a bad sign, has bad juju. I today asked for a refund since they billed me again for a 4th month at $69 on auto pay without my permission.... I believe they said I it would be auto pay after the 3 months is up, but I wasn't made aware or asked again if I wanted to continue being billed. Which I didnt. I stopped going here little by little over time in the last 3rd month. BIG lack of understanding...... A business can easily work with you and say hey, I'll refund you, knowing u won't be back and thanks for letting me know right away, having missed your freeze and you haven't been back since... I understand. But NO... he wants ur money!! I've kept it professional and held back, held my composure focusing on my workouts soley but mannnn, NO, I wouldn't had committed to a contact here! Just wasn't for me. I now have access to 2 FREE modern gyms & 2 new free podcast spaces elsewhere, can come and go as I please. No hassle. The very unprofessional OWNER JOE, leaving a fake response to me.....he was texting me at the same time being fake!! I'm providing proof that my comment about leaving a review that wasn't great after 3 months of going there wasn't a threat.... He's not a good person. I show the proof! My bank refunded me!
