Unfortunately, when he returned the guys had started cutting branches off of trees that were not supposed to be cut down so he must have told them to stop. EXPERIENCE…read more I didn't want to have to leave this review, but after the owners promised to make it right and then never made good on their promise, I can't stress enough how horrible our experience was with Moore and Smith. They were by a mile the highest quote, and we don't mind paying top dollar for good service, but this was nothing short of disappointing. The company came highly recommended, however they repeatedly dropped the ball on our rental when we needed to have trees removed. They presented a waiver to our tenants stating it was "to cover the property under insurance should anything happen". This was in fact a waiver in case the lawn and or driveway got torn up. I, as the owner of the property was NEVER presented this document, or I would have certainly requested to move the service to another day when the ground was more firm. Lo and behold, the lawn is a demolition derby, the driveway is damaged, and the tenants were picking up trash and debris for days. Not what I would expect for an $8000 service. When I called to get to the root of the problem and express my frustration, I spoke with Megan, who is equally as classless as she is condescending... not sure what swamp they dug her out of, but I've never been spoken to by a more repugnant person. Any company that would have THAT as their customer service person clearly doesn't give a shit about customer service... The owners called me back to apologize for how she spoke to me, which showed class, and promised to return to our rental, smooth out the tracks from the damage, and to reseed the lawn. He also promised to come to our property for free for a service should we need help. They never made good on either promise, and calls to the owner have been unreturned and texts left on read. Needless to say we are disappointed and will never be hiring them again.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars after dealing with them for 36 days to complete a job that…read moreshould have taken 3 to 4 days. They began work on 4/15/22. First the landscape river rock was delivered in 3 pallets and parked in my driveway for several days before they started the work. This created a huge mess with mud and debris. Not to mention having to navigate around them with our cars to get in and out of the driveway. They ran out of rock and waited days to bring in more. 12 days from start of the project they came to lay sod. My front yard is not large by any means... They would lay a small section of the yard, run out of sod and we would not see them for a couple of days before they would come back and lay another small section and leave. After 7 days of having a partially finished yard, they finally brought in enough sod to finish what should have taken 1 day to complete. Pics attached. On the 18th day 5/3/22, the owner (Abhi) text me that they were "finished" and was coming that evening to do a final inspection. I pointed out areas that needed to be corrected, to which he agreed would be fixed. He made me aware they had "misquoted" the job. He admitted that it was "his fault" as he was the one that initially quoted me the price. I paid him the remainder of the money we agreed upon. On 5/6/22, Abhi came to meet me at 8am and told me that the issues would be resolved by 5/10/22. Since they had not made good on any timeline they provided, I gave him until 5/12/22 to have a couple of days grace. They show on 5/12 to "fix" the problems and installed a completely different rock around the unfinished mailbox and a landscape stone that was a different color that the rest. He also told me they would fix the dead patches of sod. Pics attached. I reached out to Abhi again 5/12/22 about the issues and he told me he was aware and it would be fixed. He said that he would get a stone mason to fix the landscape borders and buy the correct river rock to finish the mailbox area. I come home Thursday 5/19/22 to find they are taking landscape rock from my existing landscape and transferring it to the unfinished mailbox area. They also used a hammer to break the landscape border instead of using a saw to fit it properly. Pics attached. They leave on 5/19 without being corrected. I reach out to Abhi again on 5/19/22, that is when I realized who I was dealing with. He became very condescending and made it a point to tell me he lost money on my job. On 5/20/22, I tried to call and text Abhi to see if they were coming to resolve the issues. He sent someone out that used glue to fix the stones around the mailbox and cut the landscape stone on my front porch which was loud and created a ton of concrete dust on my front porch. My dogs were frightened by this barking and yelping. I took a video and pics. Pics attached. I have hired a different company to fix the sod that needs repaired/replaced. I will hire a company to repair the mailbox landscape and correct the end stone and consulting with an attorney that specializes in Civil Litigation to find out our next steps. Steer clear of Destined Landscapes!!!

I recently had some major storm damage on several of my trees that were over 150 years old. A young…read moreman came to my door and politely asked if he could have his father give me an estimate to remove the major limbs that were blocking my drive & I told him to proceed with the estimate. They returned the following day with the estimate which included removing the downed limbs and clean up which they were able to accomplish with a crew of 6 men that afternoon and the following morning for the price we had agreed on plus some additional trimming of low canopy of several trees that were potential issues for my 200 year old home and vehicles. The owner and supervisor remained on the premises until the job was completed and their employees were professional and polite. I highly recommend them (BTW- they also cleaned my gutters).

Will not recommend this company. They quoted me and was hired to do some work. Only half of what…read morewas proposed was completed (due to the other part already being taken care of by another company). BUT fought me for three months for me to pay for the entire bill, even though only 1/2 the work was done, not only that, it not completed in the time they told me and I had to pay another company to clean up their mess they left behind. When I asked why I have to pay for two trees instead of one, all they said was that this tree was big and took a lot of time!! This company does not care about their customers. I will say the Receptionist was easy to work with and quick to respond.
