Phenomenal place. The music. The staff. The drink options! Everything was so great and we had a fantastic time. Out of 3 other breweries we've tried in the area, this one really stood out to my husband and I. We really appreciate the honest & how genuine the staff is and can't wait to checkout the live music soon & pick up some crowlers!

Still one of my favorite breweries. You can order a burger and come in and have a seat to drink some delicious beer. Also dog friendly! There was no line when we came in, so we were able to get our drinks fast. I like their Danish red, it goes well with food and also good on its own. If I lived closer...would definitely consider joining the beer club!

Awesome beer and even more awesome service and company. Great ambiance because of the open patio and welcoming vibes. AND, the beer is all local!

I've been to the other locations and honestly did not know about this place. Or even the little strip with all the different shops, restaurants and tasting room. We normally stick to our usual whenever in town but this visit, we happened to noticed it while looking for parking. It's a cool brewery, smaller than the other locations but it does pack its own little punch. The selection is still great, it's located next to other tasting room which also offers food nearby. Service was great and friendly. Everyone seems to all know each other like a little family gathering. The sections are great, there's something for everyone. Bar seating as well as hi tops and lower tables. Games are also available for your pleasure. Now that we know about this spot, it's definitely a go to next time.

After years of trying to make it to the brewery I finally did! I did a tasting of various beers. Some you won't find in the stores when looking for FMB. I love their beers, and you can't beat it when it's fresh from the tap. The service was nice, they make you feel welcomed. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Beware, you WILL smell pizza, I recommend to get it! Beer and pizza! You can't go wrong. I did have one beer that was not my jam, the shandy. Which was okay, but I am not a grapefruit person. They let me get some more of the salt and lime lager, which was so crisp. This spot is a must if you love a well crafted brew.

Made our way to the funk zone and decided to go for beer instead of wine! Figueroa Mountain Brewing was refreshing on a hot day. Tons of seating- inside and out. Great beer choices. Great for groups, too.

Nice brewery with great drinks! I'm not much of a beer person but am always keeping an open mind and enjoy visiting breweries. This is one of the few where I enjoyed their beers. Got a flight, as well as a cosmopolitan since the bartender recommended it. The flight was great, enjoyed their agua santa cerveza which was light and with a sweet corn taste. Their cherry hibiscus kombucha was also delicious. The cosmo on the other hand was not the best. It was a weird combination, maybe because it was sake based here. I do wish they offered food, although when we went there was an event and you could purchase banh mi sandwiches.

If you are visiting the Santa Barbara area or live here permanently, this is a must stop spot. Located yards away from the Pier and State Street. This location has tasty beers, I highly recommend getting a flight of the seasonal brews and staples. The Hoppy Poppy and Lizard Mouth are my favorite. The bar is dog friendly, with an ample patio. Dogs are welcome inside too. Ask for a water bowl, for your pup. If you are hungry, you scan a QR code and can order some different dishes from the restaurants that share the block. We ordered a pizza from Lucky Penny! Perfect with beer on a fall afternoon.

Ambiance here is great. They have games you can play. Tried a flight of beer, my favorite was the Agua Santa, which had a hint of sweet corn. I appreciate that each beer in the flight had a tasting card & explains the flavors in each drink. They had sake based cocktails, tried the cosmopolitan. Tbh it was not the best & tasted awful. So I would steer clear of their cocktails. Maybe just stick to the beers since that's what they're known for.

I'm an ipa lover.. ipa's eh but this rice beer they had... soooo good! Really enjoyed it Great spot for kids to run around. Would like for there to be a bit more for kids. But would love that at all breweries so not complaining much. Food, great! Kids burgers were big and delicious! Loved the carnitas nachos too. The kale salad could use a bit more flavor. Maybe some lemon to it! Overall great service and vibe

We love coming here, always good beers, you can order food from the neighborhood and eat there. Large dog friendly outdoor space . Music jams are always good too

    Really weird seats

I really wanted to give this place more stars... But we had some mishaps here that made us not so happy... Definitely great vibes here, everyone was super chill and the layout made is really easy to talk to others! The music was 100/10! Loved all the throwbacks! The drinks were all delicious, we had ordered some of the pineapple sunset hard kombucha and it tasted like gummy bears! The service wasn't bad, we went straight to the bar to get our drinks, so not much of a wait. The biggest complaint was that the bench we were sat at was extremely narrow.... And also kind of rickety. It rocked back and forth. So then 2 out of the 6 people in our group fell backwards off of the bench. One person had been drinking, but the other person had not... So we can't really blame it on the alcohol... Why would anyone have such uncomfortable narrow seats?? I just don't understand...

    Award winning Danish Red Lager
    Sean S.

Award winning Danish Red is the real deal! Took a pit stop at this unassuming brewery on our walk to/from state street and wanted to check out the beers. The servers and bartenders were super knowledgeable about the selection. We had a brief conversation about what we like best and they made a great selection for our flight. When I expressed how much I like red and Amber beers they recommended the Danish red, which had won a silver or bronze medal at a beer competition. I don't remember the specifics, but all I can say is it lives up to the award-winning hype. We ended up grabbing a six pack to go because I enjoyed it that much! If you are a beer lover I would give this place a shot. Also, they have a really nice outdoor patio area.

I am glad I picked Rincon for an early dinner during our recent anniversary trip in Santa Barbara!…read more A major plus, they sell food here, they have an extensive menu so it's easy to order at the bar, they bring it to your table, no hassle, running around for food from 1000 places! It might not be as trendy as other breweries in the Funk Zone area, but I don't care. Quiet and laid back was the vibe we needed! I love that they are located in an old Spanish looking house. Beautiful outdoor options, charming, quiet, great to enjoy a meal at! I don't care for their indoor area - with TV-s playing game and lacking decor. Service was great, friendly, Sam took care of us, he was nice, kind, attentive! Had their Mac Brown, a darker nice beer, smooth and started our feast with their nachos, we added chicken on which was a great decision since it was marinated and freshly grilled, you could taste the nice flavors right away. Great guacamole in top, a fun dish! We continued with the fried dill pickles (they come with Ranch and Sriracha sauce), very nice, had fried pickles before (in the South) and they were too greasy. Not here, crisp and tasty, lightly breaded. We finished with the onion rings tower, panko crusted, delicious flavor! They have locations in Ventura and Carpinteria! Great food and beer, nice service, very chill and relaxing. Rincon proved me right, gave us the fun, laid back experience we needed! Cheers to that, Mac Brown in hand!

(Drank/Dined 02/02/24 FR @ 6:00pm): You didn't need to con me into coming to this brewery!…read more I looked for some salvation and solace in the beer suds of Rincon Brewery while I waited out the freeway traffic back to Los Angeles after a bad day. This brewery was on my list of several to try since I was scheduled to work the upcoming Santa Barbara International Film Festival. I loved beer and was always thrilled to visit a brewery new to me. Were their libations a brighter spot on what was a darker day!? PURCHASE Cetaceans Dry Hopped Marzen Lager Beer 5.2% ABV 16floz Draft ($7.75): Rich golden amber color, floral malty aroma, low body, light malty flavor, smooth finish, and light malty aftertaste. These were really good, I wasn't a fan of the somewhat watery ranch dipping sauce, and the "mere" seven rings surprisingly filled you up. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=n3NQ7J8Q1Uw6j6G1t3CLGw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Bates Blonde Fish + Chips ($17.00 + $2.00): Bates (their own beer) blonde-battered cod with a choice of housemade potato chips or french fries (I opted for these), I was impressed by the three thick darker brown pieces of fish and a pile of golden crispy crunchy spud sticks. This was a hot plate, and early bites of everything released soft whispers of steam. The cod was meaty, moist, lightly seasoned, and honestly didn't require the provided tarter dipping sauce (I used it for the fries). My only issue was that the fries weren't included, so in actuality this was a "fish plus chips" meal. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fpuwzGbFwXqCwOdssuTSbw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Coastal American Lager Beer 5.5% ABV 16floz Can 4pk ($11.99): Bright amber color, citrusy lime malty aroma, low body, citrusy lime malty salty flavor, crisp effervescent finish, and light citrusy lime aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=FCS5RuJzpdwz2VstJ8wlbA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 9th Anniversary Fleurs De Mer Saison Farmhouse Ale Beer 6.1% ABV 16.9floz Bottle ($9.00): Dark amber color, fruity tart yeast aroma, low body, earthy fruity tart yeast flavor, crisp drying finish, and light earthy fruity aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=oUt_RJDUeFzIqfUlwzLMuQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Stickers (Varied; COMP this instance): I loved stickers and enjoyed placing them at other breweries to spread the love! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-E-QPl_6n-LQGn-Y3zrvoQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE I was warmly greeted by a young man behind the bar where I sat. He gave me a quick rundown on their beers, and once I placed my order, the beer arrived immediately, while the food appeared within minutes. Everything was efficient and straightforward - thank you! PARKING (FREE) Street parking only, I found a spot along the main drag of Santa Barbara St. while there were plenty on other surrounding roads - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located in the "Funk Zone", the interior was an open spacious layout, a ton of places to sit, a multi-sided bar with barstools, and various surfboards hung on the walls. There was also a large exposed outdoor patio. Plenty of natural lighting came in through the large windows, obviously plenty outside, while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest inside while decorative string lights outside. There were two TVs while Emo music (e.g. Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, Sum 41) played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=O-v3lFvwpLlljOvdH7CpVw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Rincon Brewery ended my day on a positive note, and I would love to return and try more of their beers. Their food was lovely and appreciated, they had a happy hour (MO-TH), it was a relaxing place, the service was very good, and the beer prices were comparable (beer flights also available). The food menu was varied and not just bar snacks. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $71.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
