Lama Dog is amazing! I love this location in the Funk Zone. They have so many good beers on draft and in bottles and cans for onsite consumption or takeaway. This place is super casual. You can grab a spot at the bar or sit at one of the other tables. The attached restaurant has some really good food too, so you can get some grub to go with your brews. This is a must-stop for craft beer lovers!

Great spot for hanging out in the funk zone! Very pet friendly too! A perfect spot for hanging out before a drive to LA!

Cheeseburger done to perfection and the most yummy sweet potato fries I've had in a minute!

One Saturday afternoon some friends and I came here as an after party spot and I was hooked. It was my first time there and I loved that you can go up to the window and get your food so it's not like a place where my group of friends would all order and somebody got stuck with the bill. Everybody took care of self! lol The large table setup made it possible for us to all sit around and hop around essentially playing musical chairs since we were such a social bunch. And the food, Cheeseburger and sweet potato fries were so good and such a great portion that I had half there and the rest for lunch the next day. Hummers! I didn't get any drinks but they have cider on tap so I'm def gonna get that the next time!

Great atmosphere, great selection of drinks, and they have a variety of appetizers and plate options to choose from. I tried their Mahi Mahi tacos, which were 20 dollars. The fish portion was generous, but I do wish there was more sauce. I also tried both of their kombuchas on tap - the POG and the Strawberry Lemonade. They were delicious and worth the $10 dollars per pint. Staff were friendly and attentive. A great place to meet up with friends for a drink and some food.

Wanted a casual late dinner in the funk zone with our pup. There was plenty of room on the outdoor patio and they gave our puppy a treat and fresh water. I had a giant bowl of lobster Mac and cheese and my husband had the Reuben. Both were delicious and just what we wanted. Next time, we'll have to try some beers. Adding to our list of dog friendly spots in Santa Barbara.

I decided to stop by here for drinks and quick bite. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I love how they are dog friendly. I ordered the loaded tater tots and tried out juneshine kombucha as a taster. The service was quick and love the vibes here. Perfect hang out spot especially if you want to bring your dog!

We stopped by Lama dog when visiting Santa Barbara (it was highly recommended by a friend that went to college in the area). It was a Friday afternoon and was the perfect afternoon pit stop. It was walking distance from the beach, so we were able to come straight from a beach day. There was a huge variety of food (all of which was AMAZING -- we split a burger, fried cauliflower, and loaded tots) and the beer was refreshing and well priced. There was a variety of people there (some working remote, others with friends, and a few like us who had just come in from the beach). It was a really relaxing / laid back vibe (and best of all, pups allowed!!) We'll be going back any time we're in the area. :)

I recently visited Lama Dog Tap Room & Bottle Shop, and had the best time! I haven't been here in awhile. The ambiance is casual, and you have the option to sit outside in their cozy patio, or inside at the bar or communal tables. There are plenty of TV's available for the sports fanatics as well. This place is located in the Funk Zone, and a little hidden gem you can find at the end of Santa Barbara St., walking towards the beach. This is a very dog friendly environment, so bring your fur babies if you have any. They offer 20 revolving craft beers on tap, along with 4 varieties of local wine also on tap. There's also a walk-in fridge filled with endless craft beers, seltzers, and kombucha beer. Bottles of wine can also be purchased here, but just keep in mind that they do charge $2 extra corkage fee. I was surprised to be charged $2 just to have my can opened! That's a little ridiculous, and I would have much rather put that money towards a tip. But wait, there's more! If you're paying with a card here, then just be aware that a $15 charge will temporarily be held on it. I wasn't aware of this, and asked the waitress about it after I seen the extra charge posted to my account. I like the convenience of being able to order food from The Nook, who shares this space with Lama Dog. They have a great variety of food to choose from and they always serve delicious meals. Customer service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great spot to check out solo, with your dog, or with a group.

Great selection of beer! Nice flavors for everyone. Cute ambiance and super fun with the people who work there. Fun little spot on Santa Barbara. Everyone is super knowledgeable about the beer on tap so there is something for everyone. Have been here a few times when visiting Santa Barbara. Love their beers! They even have a great N/A for someone who wants to enjoy a beer with the group without the alcohol.

So glad we had a long wait at another mainstream restaurant by the waterfront and was walking and checking other spots a bit away from the Main Street and came across Lama Dog Tap room. From outside it looks like a converted warehouse, and very unassuming entrance. You walk in to the open space and order at the window. They had a great selection of meat, seafood, chicken and vegetarian options. We ordered a couple of burgers, halibut tostada, Mac n cheese and a salmon salad. Two in the party opted for beer and the selection of the beer was amazing as well. Many drinkers at the bar inside and about 10-15 bar tables and chairs were placed in the narrow alleyway next to the main bar section. The burgers were juicy and tasted amazing, loved the Mac n cheese and it came in generous portion, the halibut tostada was just amazing and hit the right spot. Halibut was probably my most favorite but can't discount the other entrees as everyone was very pleased with their choices of entrees. If in town, definitely give them a try, we really loved the experience.

Pretty cool brewery for dog-lovers and dog-parents! I ordered a pilsner and I believe my husband ordered a cider. Definitely refreshing on a warm day in Santa Barbara. We also shared some fries which definitely hit the spot! Would definitely want to try other snacks if we ever come back. The bartender that helped me was pretty friendly. Definitely offered multiple tastings but I knew what I liked as soon as he gave me the pilsner they had. I ordered the beer but they also had to card my husband who was sitting at the table with our dog so I had to run and grab his ID just for him to have a beer! No inconvenience at all. Definitely a cool place to chill at, I especially loved the outdoor seating. Would definitely come back !

Captain Fatty's is a microbrewery from Goleta that I had never heard of before, and anybody who's read my Yelps knows I'm a Craft Beer nut. The Beer Garden is located in the open space near the elevators, just down from Eureka (who also has a couple of their beers on tap) and near a store called "Smoky Pink". To be honest, this space has served many purposes in the past; including hosting the Folklorico presentations during Santa Barbara's Fiesta event. The Beer Garden consists of a small Airstream that serves as a mini-taproom, and about 6-8 tables set up with the rest of the area roped off to designate the allowed drinking area. The family and I were in Santa Barbara this past weekend (10/28) when we came across this spot, and we were pleasantly surprised since we found ourselves a bit parched. They offer about 6 or so beers on tap. My brother and I had their "Blue" a west-coast IPA that was delicious and refreshing. The bartender at the time, Yvonne, was a wealth of information about Captain Fatty's and their offerings. Apparently, the brewery is well-known in the area and is celebrating its 10th year! Who knew?!?! Well I guess I would if I was a local... hahaha.. I can only wish! Our experience there was very pleasant. The beers were delicious, the employee was friendly and the location was perfect. Yvonne said they had just signed a lease to be there for another year; so we hope to see them again on our travels to the American Riviera!

Once the food was brought out by the "food server". Our server disappeared and never came to ensure that we all got our meals. We had to get someone to check on "one" meal that was never brought for my daughter. The server came to the table to ask what happened? He was informed of the missing meal and told us that he was going to check with the kitchen. Yup you guessed it took him forever to return to tell us that oops the kitchen was slammed and either they forgot to make the order or faced it to another table seriously who says that? The manager came to the table to apologize and said oh I'm sorry about that I'll take it off your tab. WTH that is the least you should do. Well let me comp you with some desserts, no thanks. It took them over 20 minutes to provide us with the bill. This was the worst experience I've ever had, management did not handle the situation properly. Also, this is my FIRST negative review ever. But I just had to vent because this really made me angry especially on a night when we were out to celebrate my husband's birthday with the family. Definitely will not be able to recommence as my experience was not a positive one. Ambiance was nice, I just think it was over crowded and not enough servers to handle the Sunday crowd!!!!
