    Beet and Arugula

I just wanted to grab some food for takeout to eat on the train ride home, so I can't speak much to seating experience here. The outdoor area definitely is vibey at night though. I got a pretzel and the beet and arugula salad to go. Service was relatively quick. I got my food in like 15 minutes or less. It was packaged with care and I was given utensils and napkins in a big bag. I love that they have a bunch of different mustards, which are great for the pretzels or bratwurst. I grabbed a couple of spicy ones and one made with wine I think. Yum. Pretzel was delicious. I liked the cheesy sauce it came with. But honestly the beet salad was incredible. Like who would have thought a Biergarten would have a killer salad. I would go back just for that salad. Props to their chef. I will definitely be back to try more food items next time I'm in SB!

Fire pretzel.Got the cinnamon version. Ambience is great and this place sure attracts a big crowd. I have yet to try other items from the menu or some of the drinks.

Tried the cactus cooler mead. It was yummy. Lots of fire pits to keep you warm as well.

Every single time I've been here, it has always been great. The crowds seems to be all the local Santa Barbara college kids. They're open late and the beer keeps pouring. Parking can be tricky as it's street parking but there's a small lot in the back that offers valet parking. We always forget about it. Bar/restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating. Honestly feel like the outdoor gets used more. For the chilly nights, they do have loads of heat lamps and fire pits placed through-out the patio area. Food is also served. You order at the register which a number is given to you and place it on your table. Seat yourself. Food can also be ordered at the bar area where you order drinks. This visit, it happened to be October. So obviously Oktoberfest was happening. All the staff were dressed up in the lederhosen and dirndl. The vibe was amazing. Just made feel like you're part of the celebrations. Drinks were constantly rolling as it was non stop. A few size options for beer to choose from. They do have an amazing selections of beer on draft as well as wine. You order your drinks at the counter and wait for your name to be called. Everyone was alway so friendly. Younger crowd but they're all there to have the same fun as everyone else. And you can't have Oktoberfest without the jumbo pretzels. It comes with a cheese sauce but there's loads of mustard to choose from inside. Service has always been amazing everytime we been. It's also pet friendly so the fur babies can enjoy the fun too. Plus live bands. The past few times they've always had one. It could also be certain days but it's alway been fun. It does get busy so finding a table can be a hassle as it's first come first serve and open seating. There's a lot of communal tables so mingle and make new friends.

I've come to Biergarten several times it's is without fail a fantastic place to come to. The drinks, the ambiance, the food. Everything is always top notch here it's an incredibly yummy place to come to I usually get the smarty and cherry blossom seltzer. Can't beat that combo for me. Highly highly recommend

    Burger week!

Came here for the burger week and they did not disappoint! This time they also had all their beers in stock so we went with a sampler. Their burger was delicious! The pesto sauce with the mozzarella, tomatoes and arugula gives it an Italian flavor. I do like how the mozzarella was not melted, so it reminded me of the caprese salad. It does come with fries... and a dipping sauce bar. I do like how they had a variety of sauces, but ended up settling with the jalapeno mustard, spicy brown mustard, and Dijon wine mustard. The pickles that come with the burger is a crowd pleaser, being a mix of little bit of sweetness with vinegary. This is something different than a traditional burger so I highly recommend trying it during the burger week!

Visited my old stomping grounds this weekend (go Gauchos) and had to make a stop at Biergarten for some bites and brews. The poutine slapped as per usual and the fig and goat cheese pizza was a sweet surprise! Loved it. This place has only gotten more popular over the years (for good reason) so it took some time to find a seat, but the vibes were immaculate. Young people and dogs af at this establishment. And they were playing Young Sheldon on the Tv. Love

We were greeted upon entrance and helped right away. The service was great. And the food was delicious. What's really cool is you can choose outdoor seating or indoor seating. Whatever your preference is, it's nice and comfortable.

Great service, our picks are the delicious smash burger and unique flavor of German potato salad. A definite go to spot when in Santa Barbara and want something off the Main Street of downtown. Love the vibe and the ciders.

Great service, great pizza, and a chill atmosphere. Riley and Nolan were very nice and personable. I ordered the veggie pizza vegan style. It was tasty. My kids had cheese pizza and they gave it 5 out 5 stars. My husband had the smash burger and said it was delicious. They offer free valet service which is a plus when you don't want to have to look for parking.

First time at the Funk Zone, and this Biergarten definitely caught our eye. We sat outside in the patio against the taps, and just had a grand ol' time! The staff was young, fun, and extremely accommodating. We were allowed to try their beers before ordering. The beertenders knew a lot about their brews and also taught us a lot about the Santa Barbara area. We spent about two hours here. Food was also delicious. We had their schnitzel and Cesar salad. Try it out on one of your beer crawls!

Pearl social is such a whimsical fun spot to grab a drink and a snack in the funk zone. We stumbled in for a late afternoon drink and it wasn't very busy inside - giving off "best kept secret vibe". The decor is very feminine yet playful. Loved the design and bar area. We opted for a casual booth area by the bar which was really nice. Also all of the little things were done well, crisp menus, clean bathrooms, and music done at just the right sound level. Their menu in the bar area for food is small but mighty - oysters, cheese plates, you name it. I'm definitely going to keep coming here for the cocktails. I've had one of the best sips in 2025 here - which would be The Mixtape cocktail. My friend told me I had to get it and I'm so glad I listen sometimes lol. This cocktail completely blew me away. Passionfruit forward, it's silky, sweet yet very well balanced. One of the more unique and tasty cocktails I've had ever and honestly I'm not sure how I could come back and get anything else. 10/10 Cocktail and menu. Super impressed. Kudos to Mark who was working the bar. Such a lovely spirit and kind person. He really is passionate about his menu and the drinks he's curated. Loved talking to him as we got to know a lot more about Pearl social and how some of their drinks were concerted. Really appreciated his time and expertise. Anytime I'm in the funk zone I will 100% be stopping back by here for a cocktail and good vibes.

It might not be as trendy as other breweries in the Funk Zone area, but I don't care. Quiet and laid back was the vibe we needed! I love that they are located in an old Spanish looking house. Beautiful outdoor options, charming, quiet, great to enjoy a meal at! I don't care for their indoor area - with TV-s playing game and lacking decor. Service was great, friendly, Sam took care of us, he was nice, kind, attentive! Had their Mac Brown, a darker nice beer, smooth and started our feast with their nachos, we added chicken on which was a great decision since it was marinated and freshly grilled, you could taste the nice flavors right away. Great guacamole in top, a fun dish! We continued with the fried dill pickles (they come with Ranch and Sriracha sauce), very nice, had fried pickles before (in the South) and they were too greasy. Not here, crisp and tasty, lightly breaded. We finished with the onion rings tower, panko crusted, delicious flavor! They have locations in Ventura and Carpinteria! Great food and beer, nice service, very chill and relaxing. Rincon proved me right, gave us the fun, laid back experience we needed! Cheers to that, Mac Brown in hand!

PURCHASE Cetaceans Dry Hopped Marzen Lager Beer 5.2% ABV 16floz Draft ($7.75): Rich golden amber color, floral malty aroma, low body, light malty flavor, smooth finish, and light malty aftertaste. These were really good, I wasn't a fan of the somewhat watery ranch dipping sauce, and the "mere" seven rings surprisingly filled you up. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=n3NQ7J8Q1Uw6j6G1t3CLGw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Bates Blonde Fish + Chips ($17.00 + $2.00): Bates (their own beer) blonde-battered cod with a choice of housemade potato chips or french fries (I opted for these), I was impressed by the three thick darker brown pieces of fish and a pile of golden crispy crunchy spud sticks. This was a hot plate, and early bites of everything released soft whispers of steam. The cod was meaty, moist, lightly seasoned, and honestly didn't require the provided tarter dipping sauce (I used it for the fries). My only issue was that the fries weren't included, so in actuality this was a "fish plus chips" meal. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fpuwzGbFwXqCwOdssuTSbw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Coastal American Lager Beer 5.5% ABV 16floz Can 4pk ($11.99): Bright amber color, citrusy lime malty aroma, low body, citrusy lime malty salty flavor, crisp effervescent finish, and light citrusy lime aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=FCS5RuJzpdwz2VstJ8wlbA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 9th Anniversary Fleurs De Mer Saison Farmhouse Ale Beer 6.1% ABV 16.9floz Bottle ($9.00): Dark amber color, fruity tart yeast aroma, low body, earthy fruity tart yeast flavor, crisp drying finish, and light earthy fruity aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=oUt_RJDUeFzIqfUlwzLMuQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Stickers (Varied; COMP this instance): I loved stickers and enjoyed placing them at other breweries to spread the love! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-E-QPl_6n-LQGn-Y3zrvoQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE I was warmly greeted by a young man behind the bar where I sat.
