    Pistachio Cherry Macaroon

Drive-Thru Drink Shops are awesome when you have kids in the car and don't want to tote them inside a store! Or if you're just feeling lazy and want a drink (no judgement, I do it all the time!) This drink shop is a little more unique from other ones because they offer other food items other than cookies! They have nachos, cool beads (dippin' dots), macaroons, popcorn and cookies! I got a drink and a pistachio cherry macaroon and when they say cherry; they mean a real cherry jam inside. I was expecting more of a maraschino cherry flavor, so expect a real cherry flavor. The pistachio flavor was very subtle too.

I love how simple the menu is to read! It's large print and colorful photos make ordering way more efficient and quicker for cars to go through. It's also simply laid out so making a decision is much easier than other soda shops. The staff is always so kind and chipper. I also just discovered the Kids drink menu and I love it! Such fun and vibrate sodas for kids. My son especially liked the Sharks in the Water that was blue raspberry sprite with gummy sharks. So fun! *They have seasonal cookies and macaroons at Christmas time.

It would have been a 5 if the lobby was open The staff was so kind, I love their ice, and the drink was delicious! The inside of their place was SO CUTE when I was there the first time, and the drive through is very fast!

They churn their own ice cream in house and it is obvious that they use awesomeness amounts of cream. The store has a cozy and chic vibe. I like the minty green color scheme. The employee was cheerful and happy to serve. This is a Mom & Pop establishment, so this is their only location. It was worth a 25 minute drive for me, maybe it will be for you, too. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating a relaxed, hometown atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fresh peach we bought was absolutely incredible--perfectly ripe, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference that comes from fresh, locally grown fruit. We also treated ourselves to a cherry sundae, which was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. The real surprise, though, was the apple cider donuts. We bought half a dozen thinking they'd last a while, but they disappeared much faster than expected! They were soft, fresh, perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar, and easily some of the best donuts we've had. If you're driving through Alpine or exploring Utah County, Burgess Orchards is definitely worth a stop. Whether you're looking for fresh fruit, homemade treats, or just a fun local experience, this place delivers. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area, and we'll probably leave with even more peaches and donuts than we did this time! Check out our video on our socials @reessroots

If you're planning to dine there, make sure you don't have any pressing commitments afterward. On both of our visits, we spent an extraordinary amount of time simply waiting to be acknowledged. During our most recent visit, our group sat at a table right in the middle of the restaurant and could have driven all the way to the Draper location in the time it took for a server to notice we were there. We initially assumed the experience was a one-time issue, so we gave the American Fork location a second chance a few months later. Unfortunately, it was almost identical to the first visit. The pace of service was painfully S...L...O...W... The time from when we sat down until we got the special priviledge of actually ordering: 25 minutes! In contrast, the Draper location has consistently been a much better experience and appears to be managed far more efficiently. I'm glad they've expanded into American Fork, and the food certainly makes the restaurant worth visiting. I just hope they can improve their service processes so customers can enjoy a great meal without needing to set aside half their day to do it.

We got our company anniversary cake here, a rush job ordered one week ahead after our original…read morevendor (booked two months out) backed out last minute. We were charged a $50 rush fee. We asked for coconut cake, vanilla buttercream, lime curd filling, heart-shaped, with an image on top and some written piping. We picked it up and the frosting looked great, but the top isn't what we asked for. We say something; the person working goes in the back and calls someone. She comes back and says they couldn't get the piping to look good, so they decided to print the whole top as an image instead, and if we had questions to email. We were both shocked they made that call without consulting us. We email, say we weren't happy with the look, and that we'd consider it resolved if they refunded the rush fee, which they did. Their reply said they hadn't realized the piping was a hard requirement, and that on short notice they'd made the call to print it with the logo instead, for ease and to stay close to the inspo image. Worth noting: we'd confirmed the piping twice, once in the initial order, and again the weekend before, to make sure it was doable. So why they decided it wasn't important is anyone's guess. I'm of the opinion that using a rush as an excuse only works if you don't charge for the rush. If they can't fulfill a rush order as specified, they shouldn't take it, or they should at least call, at which point I'd have given them several options (including just doing a plain cake) before printing the entire top. It looked extremely cheap. Then came time to actually eat it: embarrassingly, no one at the party finished their slice. Off texture, no coconut flavor, and the lime curd was overwhelming. I do want to highlight that the exterior frosting was really good, but the inside just wasn't. Combined with the unprofessional, cheap-looking top, this was an extremely embarrassing experience for me as the person who coordinated and presented it to the company. They did refund us that $50, so I didn't want to email again, even though we were unhappy with the entire experience. I couldn't in good conscience recommend a custom cake from Alisha's for a future event, though it seems we are an outlier and I know they do better work than this.

The food was all pretty good, but we were a little underwhelmed.. the onion focaccia was good but we liked the bread more and probably would've preferred the classic focaccia.
