My sister is a soda fiend, so we regularly go to one of the soda shops around town. I believe that Fiiz is the best of these soda chains. There are a few reasons for this... 1. Almost all the flavors have a sugar-free option, which is not the case at Swig or Sodalicious. The others only have a few options. 2. No up-charge for sugar free syrups. Sodalicious has an up-charge for those of us looking to cut sugars. ....you can see that sugar-free options are important... 3. The drink combos that are unique to them are my favorite. I HIGHLY recommend a Captain jack Sparrow. I get it with Coke Zero, sugar free syrups and no cream and it's great! 4. Instead of serving cookies straight out of a cold freezer/fridge like the other two options, Fiiz has MACARONS! And they are tasty and totally different. 5. The staff is always nice and helpful and never get annoyed with my annoying order which I mentioned in #3. There you have it! Fiiz is the superior soda shop! read more

I first had Fiiz years ago on a summer day in lagoon. I had never had a dirty soda before, and grew up thinking Dr Pepper was overly sweet and disgusting, but it was so incredibly hot that I, against better judgment, ordered a Captain Jack... I've since fully embraced the fact that I am, indeed, one of those people that loves a dirty soda with everything in it. The Mormons did something right. I have been to fiiz way more than I have swig and I've gotten to try a couple of their options, captain jack still being my number one favorite and what I recreate on my own at my local maverick when I feel like drinking three times the sugar content recommended for a human being. I try to limit my visits to when I get a gift card to avoid over drinking these, and this time, I got their "thor" drink. It was good! I'm not the biggest Mountain Dew fan, so maybe that was a mistake, but the combinations of syrups and cream really came through. My biggest problem with fiiz is that their snacks are BAD. Every time I've gotten a pretzel from them, it's been dry and stale as hell. I honestly don't know why I keep trying. I understand this is a dirty soda place and not a bakery, but don't sell these things to people, please. It barely resembles food. Whatever, lesson learned I guess. Close to my dwelling, FIIZ in an easy stop for a quick dirty drink. Warning: the drive-thru entry is a tight circle. Service is friendly and they do have a rewards program, so very once in a while, you get a free drink. I really enjoyed getting the "Dieter F. Cokedorf" (funny reference to a local religious leader) until they changed the name of it. They also got rid of their nachos, which I regularly enjoyed (the cheese dip was quite tasty). So, today, I got the Monster-based "Chipper Chandler". It's a nice pick-me-up. read more

I've gone to this location a couple times and it's just ok. I saw someone on Instagram get a Miami Ice and it looked delicious! I got it and I think they forgot the strawberry because it wasn't red or tasted like it at all. It just tasted like a pina colada. It was good, just not what I wanted. I also was so excited to try their Fruity Pebbles cookie but that was very disappointing. DO NOT GET! It tasted like nothing. It needed more flavor to it. I didn't even finish it because it just tasted blah. They also get minus a star for no vanilla/coconut cream. I feel with Utah and it's soda shops, they need to have all the creams, syrups and purées to compete. read more

The drinks here are average, 1 star due to this disgusting boulder of a cookie. I asked for peanut butter cookie, the picture showed flat cookies (like swig or sodalicious) but when I opened the bag...it was a rock hard cookie the size of my fist. I tried to take a bite and almost broke my tooth. Plus, this isn't a peanut butter cookie, it's a chocolate cookie with peanut butter chips. If all you're looking for is overpriced soda, this is your place, but do yourself a favor and avoid the cookies! read more

First time trying a soda restaurant which I believe makes me officially a Utah resident. Instead of cocktail parties people here like their soda cocktails. The Pretzel I got tasted like the store bought ones but it was hot and had salt placed on it well. The cheese sauce was plenty but wasn't a mild salsa kind. The price of that was pretty good. I go here almost daily and have recently decided that sodalicious down center is much better. The service is below average and the drinks are never consistent in flavor or carbonation. They discontinued popcorn but it's still on the menu. The Alpine location is much better (but far away for me) read more
