I came away from our conversation feeling like he was someone I could trust. Then Mario came out to do the installation, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. Mario was incredible. Our installation turned out to be more complicated than expected. The location we originally thought would work would have softened the water going to the outdoor hose bibs as well, which I specifically did not want because I use that water for my trees and landscaping. Mario caught this before doing the installation. Instead of just installing it where we originally planned and moving on, he stopped, explained exactly what he was seeing, and helped me figure out a better solution. He found another possible water line at the back of the house and told me he could test it first. He even reassured me that if we cut into the pipe and discovered that the plumbing wasn't routed the way we hoped, he would put everything back the way it was and wouldn't charge me for an installation that didn't work. That gave me a lot of confidence. We tested the line, and fortunately it turned out to be perfect. Within about 15 minutes, Mario was able to demonstrate exactly how the plumbing was divided: this line supplied the inside of the house, while the other line also supplied the outdoor hose bibs. That meant we could soften the entire house while leaving the outdoor water untreated, exactly how I wanted it. Mario was extremely patient, professional, knowledgeable, and just genuinely pleasant to work with. He could have easily taken the faster route, but instead he took the time to make sure the system was installed correctly for my house and my needs. That kind of attention and integrity is something I really appreciate. Between Chris taking the time to educate me and give me a fair price, and Mario going above and beyond during the installation, I couldn't be happier with my experience. On the day of the install, Trevor was the superstar and performed the installation for all the systems. Jimmy also stopped by to quickly add an electrical outlet for the water softening system. Trevor was kind, worked efficiently, and was very good at confirming exact details with how we wanted our systems installed (e.g., where we wanted the softening system to drain, the exact location for the reverse osmosis faucet). Ok so today 7/27/20 I went to fill my 5 gallon container with alkaline water ($1.50/gal). The man…read morerunning the place said that to use a credit/debit card there is a $10 minimum. I decided to buy a book of forever stamps which as of today is 55 cents each or $11/book. So it should have been $7.50+$11=$18.50 right? Well I was charged $26.80. When I asked how that came to be he said that the book of stamps is $17 (because thats how much his manager wants him to charge), all this time I thought the PRC set the price of stamps. Regardless of that, last I checked 17+7.50 was still $24.50 no? How the heck did we get to $26.80? He said there is a $2.50 charge to use credit/debit. So that would've made my total $27, close enough. And FYI nowhere in the store is there a sign that says they charge $2.50 for credit/debit transactions. I ended up returning the book of stamps and writing a note saying that they owe me since he didn't know how to do a return. He says I can come by at a later date to pick up a 5 gallon bottle and just pay the difference so I basically have credit at the store, we'll see if thats honored later. My recommendations-don't buy stamps here, bring cash.

Very quick response time and turnaround in terms of getting parts and installation done, he isn't messing around when it comes to getting work done. For various reasons my second system had several glitches along the way and with a little persistence had Mike come back out and he was determined to make things right and he did. Sometimes did take an extra nudge or two but once he sets up a time with you he'll follow through. The other thing is he may not always be the cheapest quote out there, was willing to work with me on some items, but overall I figure you are paying for the experience, efficiency, and equipment quality.

Less than a year later, I started having issues again and reached out to get service under the one-year warranty. That's when everything started to go downhill. The first time I called, Minor gave me attitude and said he'd call me back. He never did. I followed up a week later, and while he was more polite that time, he still didn't follow through. After two weeks, I finally got a call from a woman who didn't even give her name. She told me it would cost $260 just for them to come out and take a look. When I brought up the fact that the system was still under warranty, she responded with, "Just like anything else, people charge to come out. It's not free." I'm not someone who expects free service, and I fully understand people need to be paid for their work. But the way I was treated -- from the lack of follow-up to the dismissive attitude -- was completely unprofessional. I could have used those two weeks to find another company that actually values its customers. I'm very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service from Atlantis Water Systems. They were quick to take my money last year, but now that there's a problem, they don't seem interested in standing behind their work. I won't be calling them again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
