I love coffee to the point where it's an addiction, and Fika is by far the best coffee shop I've ever been to. I prefer the Idyllwilde just because I live closer to that one and they're more spacious. But I'm still stoked we have 2 locations in Parker. My favorite menu item is the vanilla chai tea latte (iced). Normally chais are too strong or cinnamon-y for me, but Fikas is perfect. read more

It doesn't get much better if you are looking for a local, quaint, welcoming, quirky coffee spot. It is small, but does not seem crowded. I love to come here, grab a big (mis-matched) chair, a specialty coffee and people watch. There are people in groups, on computers, wandering in for a cup and walking by on the street. I happily live close enough to be a frequent guest. If you stop in, try the thin mint (I think that was the name?)...it was delicious! read more

I just moved to the area and wanted to find a local family owned coffee shop that I could frequent and I have definitely found that with Fika! The shop has a log cabin vibe and although quaint, is deceptively larger than it appears! There are so many great nooks inside to hang out, study, socialize, whatever you want really! The coffee tastes wonderful and the baristas take special care through the entire process of grinding the beans, tamping, pulling shots, and steaming milk. I want to say they have just about every single Torani syrup flavor available, plus many milk options and alternatives (even oat milk!) so the lattes are endless. So I'm writing as a student. Let's be honest, there are FEW coffee shops in Parker that are open late enough to get some serious work in. Fika takes the cake in terms study-suited places. There's a large amount of seating, usually an outlet when I need one, and it's dynamic! If I want more quiet, I can sit in the back booths. If I want some more natural light and possibly a good conversation (to partake or eavesdrop on), the front room is perfect. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The drink options are great, too. If I'm going latte, the average flavors (vanilla, caramel, etc.) are old hat. Fortunately, Fika's got a WIDE variety, including my lavender and rose flavors to tide me over (really though, try one of these). Being located on Main Street, it's surrounded by local restaurants and places to grab a drink or two. It may be quaint, but it certainly meets all of my needs. Student or not, give Fika a chance! read more

Just a simple update. This is a fine coffee house. I have come here often over the years. Very consistent and good quality. They have a seating area where small children have priority. Fika has a small town feel to it with a big town barista mentality. Meaning when you are there it feels cozy and familiar but the baristas work hard and fast to get you your beverage. There are many different sizes of tables, comfy chairs and a long comfy bench with individual tables in the back. The bathroom is all the way in the back. One awesome aspect of Fika is their kids play area, complete with toys and a gate. They just recently refreshed both the toys and gate (Jan 2017ish). This makes it a fantastic place for adults with small children to meet. Plus with close proximity to O'Brien park and the playground there, Fika is a no brainer destination for parents. The coffee is like black gold. It is Kaladi Coffee roasters, from here in Denver. Need I say more? Plus Fika will sell coffee to you by the pound. Get the Peru. It's amazing. I love the environment of this coffee house! It's one of my favorite in Parker. I find the staff to be very knowledgeable and efficient. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I find them to be very pricey. For example, the last time I went they up-charged me for not wanting ice in my drink which came off very greedy and silly. read more

I wanted to like this place but I'm not a big fan of dreary, dark, old and claustrophobic places. The staff was great and friendly and I did like that they offered more than coffee (I ordered a Vanilla Italian Soda) but I couldn't get pass the actual place. And for a fairly busy place (its location on Main Street helps their business) they had one bathroom, that I knew of, and it smelled. I don't think we'll be coming back but I'm curious to try out their other location - it looks more open. read more

This is a great place for a cozy cup of coffee, it's comfortable for a business meeting and has a kid-friendly nook for moms to meet. My kids are tween and teens and LOVE their Italian Sodas! After moving to Parker I quickly located the nearby big box coffee chain. However one morning after dropping my kids at school I took a walk down Main Street and found Fika. I was intrigued by the obvious local charm and went in. I ordered a regular coffee and was given a great cup of coffee by the bubbly barista. I am a self-proclaimed "coffee snob" but I found it to be quite good. However, on my next visit I discovered their "specialty menu". Oh... my... goodness... it's dangerously tasty. For fellow mint-chocolate lovers, the "Thin Mint" coffee it a must! Other delicacies I've tried are the dark chocolate mango, (I forget the name), and the "Pikes Peak". I am all about supporting local businesses but I didn't think anything could replace my beloved Starbucks until I found Fika. Can't ask for much more, quaint small town charm, friendly baristas and delicious coffee. read more

Josh the owner is always there so that's always a perk to be served by the guy who really cares about what's going on. The drinks are a little pricey and so far I haven't found one I really love but the breakfast burrito's they have there are fantastic! It's a great spot to meet right on Mainstreet in the cool historic building and it has free (although slow) wifi. For the very few times I've been in Parker (mainly to take my cats to the pet resort there--cheapest in the metro area), I pass by Mainstreet all the time. And all the time I see "fika". I learned about the word "fika" from my Swedish friend, Pontus. When I was a member of Creative Density, we'd have Friday fika around 3pm. Swedes love fika as it's a good mid-day pick-me-up with sweets and conversation with friends. I had imagined this when I passed by the fika Coffeehouse. Inside, fika Coffeehouse is rustic looking; more elderly frequent this joint during the day, playing cards or stitchin' & bitchin'. The menu has the typical coffeehouse staples; in terms of food, you can buy and microwave a burrito here. Do-it-yourself! I've had the special Swedish cookies here once; very sweet indeed! There's a back room for patrons to have meetings or just relax at the long table. Near the back room, there are books on display about Sweden, its holidays, and so forth. I briefly flipped through one book that talked about the art of fika ... all in Swedish (cannot read it yet!). Even in the bathroom, there's a map of Sweden there. I can usually only point out Göteborg and Stockholm, though. It's a fun little place to visit; I suppose it's one portal I can visit when I feel the need to travel overseas but can't quite get there yet. One day I'll get to Sweden, for sure. read more
