Definitely a gotcha moment--I got got. I even asked if they had ice. Nope. Said it was cold from the machine... it wasn't. Now for the food. The stewed chicken was bland and lacked any real flavor--definitely not what you expect from Jamaican food. The plantains were dry and starchy, not sweet or soft like they should be. Trish and her team accommodated the requests perfectly without hesitation. The drinks are a must-try. The Vietnamese iced coffee is excellent, and the kids loved their custom orders. Now, I should not have to say that to the cooks in the back, they should know this. As a Resturant Owner, you should know that if you serve overcooked food your customers aren't going to be happy and then they're not going to return. My favorites here are the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Steamed Dumplings, Pork Fried Rice, and they have fantastic Wonton Soup. Over the years I've probably had most everything.
