    Lumpia (6)
    Amanda B.

I visited this establishment while traveling through the town, primarily influenced by the outstanding Yelp reviews. Cleanliness of Restaurant - 5 star Food - 3 star Wait Time - 3 star Customer Service - 4 star My order for six pieces of lumpia required approximately 30 minutes for preparation. While the wait time was extended, it appeared that only two staff members were on duty during a busy Saturday. Upon receiving our order, the gentleman who assisted us was very apologetic regarding the delay. The lumpia were flavorful, though somewhat greasy. The accompanying sauce was provided in a suitable portion. The restaurant maintained a high standard of cleanliness. The karaoke facilities at this venue appear to be a significant draw in the evenings. Upon our arrival, three gentlemen were serenading incoming patrons, showcasing their vocal talents. This establishment provides a selection of hot dishes, prepared in advance and maintained in heating trays for immediate service. Supporting local, family-owned businesses is a commendable practice, and this establishment consistently experienced a steady flow of customers. We highly recommend this restaurant for those in the area seeking Filipino cuisine.

Very beautiful place! It was a little hard to find at first, the GPS took us to the building parking lot next to it so we thought the store didnt exist until we drove around the lot haha. We ordered halo-halo! It was very delicious and i enjoyed it. It was perfect for the hot weather!

WHY WE WENT HERE: - work lunch THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located off Tully Rd (look out for the food truck!) - parking is tight; we parked around the corner/rear of the restaurant and walked to the front entrance THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - way bigger than I would have expected; tons of seating - like a lot of Filipino spots, there was pre-made food in warmer trays as you go through to pick your plate; there are however, certain items made to order THE MENU: - appetizers - all-day breakfast - dessert - drinks - beef dishes - pork dishes - chicken dishes - noodle dishes - veggie dishes - combo plates - Kamayan: bilawo one, bilao two, bilao three *** pay attention to the food counter signage for any other dishes not displayed to order WHAT WE ORDERED: - combo plates; mine was half and half pancit, garlic fried rice, dinuguan, and dinakdakan THE TASTE: - great! favorite was the dinakdakan - everything was very filling; was able to split it between lunch and dinner CUSTOMER SERVICE: - worker helped out my co-worker with explaining how it works, etc. and gave suggestions

If you want real authentic Filipino food this is the place to go. The people are very friendly and service is amazing. The food has great flavor as soon as you take the first bite you know your meal was freshly home made. It just brings you closer to home with your Kuya, Ates and Lolo and Lola enjoying a nice meal. I'm from Modesto and I'm so happy we found this hidden gem in our own town.

Customer service was trash. I requested a 2 entree plate they gave me 1 and then when I went back to adjust it I was told that I didn't say that. Normally I don't do this but the aggressive manner of this was uncalled for. They tried to charge me $12 dollars for gulay, a small order at that. When I originally spoke w the father he then put his son on the phone. Crazy thing is I've been going there and spending money never had a problem until today! And I will not continue spending money there. Stay blessed.

I was very excited to find a Filipino spot as I was passing through Modesto for work. Unfortunately, my siomai was burnt. Still would like to come back and try the rest of the menu.

I have been craving halo halo for months now so I was sappy to find this place while visiting Modesto. Although the halo halo was good, it was missing some of the main authentic ingredients such as the beans. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I was satisfied but I won't be retuning for halo halo.

First time in... Won't be the last! This place is old world good, reminding me of time I spent in the Philippines... Out of the thousands of islands... this one is the best! Lol

Sorry I forgot to take a before pic but it was that good !

I had a decent cup of clam chowder and ordered the NY strip. While cooked okay, it was a lousy piece of beef. The sides didn't help out much either. Overall, a weird experience with food that didn't meet the expectations for the cost and hype.

I loved the omelet and crepe stations, two of my favorite things for breakfast. There was plenty of good options to eat. I personally dont eat pork and would love non pork options for sausage and bacon but you can't cater to everyone's desires, I get it. None of the desserts blew me away but the over all meal was pleasant. The only thing that really bothered me was I told the waitress it is our first time here so how does it work. She said you can just start getting the good and bring to your table and she would get our drinks. I said what drinks can we get (as in whats included in the buffet). I had no idea we would get charged extra for every drink otherwise we would have stuck with water or whatever was included with the buffet price. We ended up spending more than $40 just on orange juice. I could have bought 8 gallons for that price. I would have never paid for all those refills if I knew I was going to be charged. I thought it was all included. There was no prices posted anywhere and there was no menus because its a buffet. That really bothered me for a long time and I wanted to ask for a refund for that amount to be honest. Life happened and I never got around to it. Other than that I did like the experience and would definitely do it again. I just wish they explained the drink pricing before you order. So please ask questions before your order your drinks, otherwise you might get charged for something you didn't know you was getting charged for. Now go enjoy, and you can thank me later

Clean and the variety is phenomenal. We got chicken fajitas and chicken al pastor. Absolutely fantastic. Our guests loved them. They make fresh guacamole and we bought the spicy one.
