When I arrived I asked Brian how much it was, and I was floored when he gave me a VERY reasonable bill. I can't find any reason to take my cars anywhere else from this point forward. Suspecting they were taking advantage of her, we consulted Tommy, our trusted mechanic in Knoxville, who confirmed our doubts. Although we managed to retrieve the car, my daughter still paid a lot for almost nothing. This time - when her car stopped running again - we found Brian. He quickly fixed the car and charged us a fair (and low) cost (based on Tommy's estimation). He was also accommodating, accepting the car after hours, and is someone we trust to not take advantage of those who don't know much about cars. This shop did everything right. - car was lifted by the jack points, not the unibody - directional tires were facing the right direction - none of the expensive valve stem caps were lost - tire pressure was correct at 32psi front, 35 rear - new sensors had no issue self-programming - old sensors were returned to me, not thrown away - rim center caps were not damaged - lug bolts were at the correct torque spec That's all I wanted. We know that he knew about these things because he cleaned the snow off the car himself when they picked it up. They had to fix that out of pocket right off the lot. The car has overheated every day and we found duct tape on the valve covers. He patched it long enough to dump it on some kids. Despicable person. He has been given several opportunities to make it right, but refuses to even let them trade it for something else. He should be ashamed of himself. If he really knew Jesus, he wouldn't be able to treat people this way.
