I especially like the gyro salad, which always comes piled high with plenty of lettuce and generous portions of gyro meat -- honestly enough to make two meals. My wife always goes for the classic gyro with extra tzatziki sauce, which she loves. Today, I had the gyro with cottage fries, and as always, it hit the spot. The cottage fries are one of my favorite sides -- thick slabs of sliced potato cooked just long enough to be tender but still hold their shape. Simple, hearty, and satisfying.

All got fries except one, and she got a salad after Uncle Eli guaranteed he washes his lettuce and that he has been eating salads despite the new virus. It was seasoned like someone heard their ancestors say "that's enough". It didn't have that fishy smell but was cooked hard like I want it. I could have gone without getting it fried hard but I didn't know since I don't usually get pantrout. The fries were good and my friend's salad was big and she said it was tasty. Since it was the first time there for the majority of us, it's safe to say they gained some new repeat customers!
