Ordered lunch to go today and was really disappointed got 2 lunch specials bento boxes one with salmon sashimi and one with chicken teriyaki. Picked it up and got home I had 4 slices of sashimi, and my roll that came with it and thats it for 18 bucks. 20 bucks for my husband's chicken teriyaki bento box and got an eel roll that came with it. All that was in his container was a small scoop of chicken, his eel roll and a half of a scoop of rice on the side. We get bento boxes frequently from others places so super surprised by the portions and lack of all the other stuff that usually comes with it. I also feel like you get more in person than when you get it to go. For the price it was not worth it today and will not be ordering to go from here anymore. read more

OKAY so, I'll start with how you order since it's a little confusing and they don't explain it to you. You get 3 menus, one menu explains what is inside each roll, the next one (a laminated sheet of paper) gives the prices of everything, and then you get a little sheet of paper where you mark which sushi you want and hand that to the server. NOTE*** NOT all sushi on the menus are on the sheet you hand to the server, but you can write it on one of the blank spaces if it's not already an option there. The sushi itself was good! Nothing to complain about in terms of taste, I do wish that the rolls were a little.bigger for the price, I can go to lemongrass and get larger sushi for cheaper. It also took us over 45 minutes to get our sushi. There was a couple that came in after us and ate and left before we got our sushi. Overall it's a good sushi option, like I said, everything tasted good! Especially their Mtsu Roll and Love Me Roll But I think there are better options in Murfreesboro. read more

Terrible experience. Will not come back. Showed up at 7. It is 8:11 and we STILL did not have our food. We ordered the albacore appetizer to come out first and after 15 minutes our server let us know that they were out. Switched to white tuna, which was fine. We also ordered a kids teriyaki chicken with fried rice, which came out early and was fine. At 7:40 our server let us know that they only have two chefs and a bunch of to go orders and were a little behind. THERE WERE THREE tables sat. At 8:05 we still had not gotten our food. We were at a sushi restaurant for over an hour and didn't have any sushi. We also came with our 2.5 year old and trying to manage him through all this waiting was not ideal. I inquired how much longer and "it's being made" with the same excuse that they had a lot of to go orders. Three were picked up while we were there. So at 8:11, I asked for the check. I was only charged for the two white fish and we left. I can't even believe this experience. Prioritizing to go orders over people sitting on the restaurant and over an hour waiting and still nothing. Maybe the sushi is good, but we didn't get to try it. read more

For many years, I have passed by this restaurant. I've heard good things and am happy to write this review. It was good, not great. I shall explain. Ambiance is great. The decor is wonderful and comfortable. I liked the atmosphere. Service was very good. Shrimp and scallop teriyaki was my menu choice. While it was delicious, it failed to impress me. The shrimp were small and indicative of a cheap variety. The scallops were good and tender. They were small, probably bay scallops and tender. One thing I really enjoyed was the teriyaki sauce was unique in the fact that it was not sickening sweet. It was a lunch portion, but it was not as large as I have had at other Asian restaurants. I feel the price was too much for the quality and quantity. It was OK and the salad and soup accompaniments were nice. I don't head this way often, so I probably will not visit again. Restaurant take out only currently but still nice quality sushi's. Customer service pleasantly nice and fast. The only thing about eating raw sushi's you just have to eat it right away. Please go somewhere else!! The service was good but the kitchen staff needs to learn on how to prioritize meals. We had to wait and hour and a half for 3 sushi rolls, tofu teriyaki and udon noodles. We asked what was taking so long and they said that they had multiple orders in front of us, I understand that. Then another round of to go orders walk right past us then we realize that they prioritize to go orders over dine in orders. Now the sushi was mediocre at best. And to be quite honest the sushi at Kroger is better quality. I got the crunchy shrimp roll and it is literally a roll with small shrimp and what I describe as wood dust and the "crunchies". Fun Fusion is my go to spot for sushi. I moved to TN last year from Hawaii, and really haven't had the best sushi experience till I came here. We got 8+ rolls, and most all of them were pretty good! Not the fresh/wow factor you're looking for exactly, but reasonably good food for reasonably good prices. However, the seafood salad was gross. It tasted heavily of chlorine and I imagine the surimi to make it was bleached at one point to kill bacteria/extend its use, make it last longer, or maybe it was dropped and needed disinfecting. I looked up this practice, it is LEGAL, but unacceptable. To me, it was completely inedible because of this and it ruined any sushi it was put on. I still am giving them four stars because they are on par with this many stars for sushi in this area - and the sushi WAS good - just don't get the seafood salad at lunch.
